I have a wireless keyboard and mouse (Microsoft 5000), but to change my mouse to the arc touch mouse, which is also bluetooth.  I installed the hardware, but the mouse won't let go of the old mouse.  How to use the new mouse, with the older keyboard?

  • Microsoft Wireless 5000 mouse not recognized by Windows 7, after Vista update

2 days ago I upgraded my Dell Dimension e521 from Vista to Windows 7 - it was the upgrade, not own full installation.

Everything is apparently very well, except the mouse I had used throughout the process, was now does not. The mouse is a Microsoft Wireless 5000, part of the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 BlueTrack-keyboard mouse, USB packet. The keyboard, which share the same USB wireless receiver is entirely sensible.

    I tried the following to resolve the problem, without success;

-Uninstall and reinstall the software for the keyboard and mouse

-Purchase of a new set office (indicated on the packaging as "compatible with Windows 7") and through the complete installation.

-Going to Device Manager and check/update the driver EVERY. They are all now current.

-J' I followed all the advice on the page of Microsofts "Troubleshooting a wireless mouse that does not correctly.

+ I changes the batteries on the two devoces

+ I have tried different ports

+ I have tested the device on another computer

+ I tried to use the mousinfo tool

+ I tried to use the appwiz.cpl application, to find the incompatible software, but but no program appears when I type appwiz.cpl in the start search box.

+ Reset after every time I changed something.

None of these steps resulted in no changes - the keyboard is still sensitive, but the mouse is dead. I do not receive the error messages, the cursor just dead center in the middle of the screen.

Needless to say, I am more and more frustrated. As I'm not particularly computer warned - I am not a root of the others - USB hub I'm out of options...

    Help, please!

My wireless mouse just stopped working.  I can still use the mousepad however.  I changed the batteries does not.  Then I tried another mouse wireless, and it didn't work either.  What can I do next?

Buy an inexpensive wired USB mouse for less than $5 and see if it works.  As far as I'm concerned wireless mice are more trouble than they are worth.  YMMV :-)

    Good luck.

  • After the passage of the user by using the Fast, my mouse Wireless USB and USB switch wired stop keyboard work or sponsor.

After having used the username switch function under 'Sign Out' in Windows 8, my Microsoft Sidewinder X 4 USB wired keyboard and mouse wireless Logitech M235 times stop work and answer, making me unable to type a password for the new user account, or use the onscreen keyboard. I also can't click the restart because of this problem, which means I have to press the power button on my case.

I use the USB 3.0 for a USB 2.0 for the keyboard and the mouse.

Also, when you use a Gigabyte Force M9 Laser wireless mouse, the cursor is dragging and sometimes not answer I'm browsing the Internet Explorer, play League of Legends or using Microsoft Office. In my view, that is not a driver problem I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for the mouse and the keyboard several times in trying to solve this problem.

This is probably not the best forum to ask for this help.

I'm looking for a similar problem on a new Office Z97 based solutions.

  • My mouse wireless guard saying lost connection.  I thought that it may need a new Bluetooth card.  An idea of the cost if I do it?

My mouse wireless guard saying "lost connection".  It takes time for it to reconnect.  Wireless keyboard is OK.  Apple store said that it may need a new Bluetooth "card."  Any idea the cost if necessary.   I tried a new mouse, with the same results.  Having to use a "wired" mouse now taking a much-needed port on my iMac.

I return to the store and get a better answer. Material, of course, could be the problem. As far as I know, there is no such 'map '.

Reset the PRAM and SMC... can't hurt, might help.
