Move the mouse cursors

I want to HP TouchSmart with Windows 8.1.  Every now and then the cursor fun walking up and down by itself.  I don't know why, I'm not in contact with the touchpad, and my wireless mouse is niether on or plugged.  It is becoming really annoying because I can't click on anything whatsoever because of his injury moves.  Usually it will stop after I turn it off, let what he defined and then back, but this time it does not work.  He did this throughout the afternoon, after several reboots and allow it to cool.

I have a HP Touchsmart and encountered the same problem. A thorough cleaning of my screen with the unit off using wipes disinfectant lysol and a very soft cloth to dry the fixed.

Hi all. today I did something really stupid. I was in a chatroom without supervision earlier and another person and I'm in it and I could tell definently I makes him angry. I left the chat room and 15 minutes later im on another site and the cursor of the mouse is suddenly freezes and does not scroll on the page. everything else seems to work very well. so I restarted the computer, the mouse works when the windows password page appears, so I type the password and then loading this page and the home page comes (one with all programs, etc.) and appears as soon as that is when the mouse cursor freezes and not scroll or move. everything else continues to load and seems to work very well. If I restart the computer and put it in safe mode and the mouse works moves very well and everything. Anyway, the bottom line is I think the other person sent me a virus or something that is used to pass my cursor in normal mode. What should I do? also, I can't get the sound to work on my computer in safe mode. says low right volume icon ' audio service does not "and I want it running in safe mode, until I can get this cursor problem is resolved. any help is greatly appreciated and please explain in terms laymans, because I don't know anything about computers. Thank you very much for your time and have a great day.

    Hi crazyforfrance,

As the mouse works properly in safe mode I suggest you try troubleshooting this issue with a clean boot to see if we can identify a program or driver causing the problem you are experiencing.

A clean boot to start Windows with some programs and drivers off or on selection. By doing this through trials and errors we can hopefully identify a specific cause of this problem. Here's how to solve problems with a clean boot:

    Clean clean boot.

    a. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    The user account control permission.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type
    password, or click on continue.
    b. on the general tab, click Selective startup.
    c. under Selective startup, click to clear the load startup items.
    d. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box and then click Disable all.
    e. click OK.
    f. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    g. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

If the problem is resolved, make sure what third-party program is at the origin of the problem, referring to the link given below:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Reset the computer to start as usual.

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue. On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

Note: In safe mode you may not be able to hear the sound because the sound drivers and other drivers may not load and only essential drivers can handle, which are very important to run an operating system. and it's a way of diagonistic.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

  • Impossible to move the mouse cursor using the trackpad on laptop Sony and some of its functions does not work.

Former title: Sony trackpad not working no-Windows 8

    Hi guys,.

I have a sony vaio s series that I bought last January. It comes preinstalled with windows 8, and I use it only about 2 - 3 times a week. 2 weeks ago my trackpad stopped working because I can't move my cursor. I can zoom in and zoom out, and other things, but there is a problem with some functions of the trackpad. I checked the synaptic driver and it says that it is up-to-date.
now, I suspected that it might be a hardware problem, so I sent it to sony Service Center because it is still under warranty. Unfortunately, it is not the case and I was informed that it's a software problem. They advise me reinstall windows 8 because it is the only solution to the problem, they believe. (I want to clarify that it is probably not Fn + F1, as when I start the laptop, the trackpad works perfectly fine for about 30 secods and suddenly Soundtracks autour after that).
I hesitate to do because it is a daunting task and I'm not really intuitive with such things. I wonder if you have any suggestions or if anyone has experienced the same problem.
My hunch is that a windows update is responsible for this, but I'm not entirely sure. Indeed, 3 weeks after I bought my laptop, that this has already happened to my once but after the reboot, the trackpad has worked well. now even by restarting the computer does not help. Basically, I have to use a mouse which is not convenient when I'm on the road...
Thank you very much! appreciate any help I can get, really. I'm about to want to sell my new laptop T_T

I finally solved the problem. I reinstalled the driver in safe MODE. Hope it could be useful to someone else

  • The mouse cursor disappears when iTunes movie go full screen

This isn't a question... actually I found a hack solution to this bug and I wanted to share it with other people having the same problem.

Since the upgrade of the OS X El Capitan, I'm having a problem with my cursor disappears randomly. It is very repetitive if I start a video in iTunes with the enlarged screen and the cursor disappears. Indeed, after entering mode full-screen, iTunes mask the cursor of the mouse that is predictable. The problem is that iTunes may not reappear there again once, for example, when I go to another office for a temporary job.

Move the mouse does nothing, escaping mode full screen does not come back. It is very annoying. Like I had never had such a frustrating experience prior to a new installation of El Capitan 10.11.3 and update iTunes to 12.3.3, I thought that this is due to the update to iTunes. So, I made another new facility of El Capitan, this time without updating iTunes. But the problem still exists. It is interesting that I had this problem on my MacBook Pro 17 "end 2011 and not with my iMac 21.5" mid-2009!

After a little research, I found that this bug is not because of El Capitan, and happened randomly in the other years dating back to Tiger and maybe before.

Only new change I had made in my MBP Preferences system , was in the part of accessibility, and it was related to Zoom. I had always used this feature, but I put the Zoom Style 'full-screen'. This time (after the new installation of El Capitan), I had changed to 'Picture-in-Picture'.

I changed the Style of zoom "full screen" even once, and the problem resolved.

If this does not work for you, can be debilitating, other options, such as 'Use keyboard shortcuts to zoom' or 'Use of scrolling with keys of change to zoom movements,' can solve the problem.

We all know that it is a bug, and he has been there for a long time. I found that many people had reported it to Apple, but the problem persists.

For those of you who want to use the zoom "Picture-in-Picture" style, or set the zoom style full screen does not solve the problem of their mouse disappears, I will mention a few ways to recover the mouse cursor. The following solutions are applied to a mouse cursor disappeared after entering the movie to iTunes (or any other application) full screen.

    1. Move the mouse until the switching Office brings back the cursor. Now, you can switch the desktop computer and do whatever you want. (It's easier work, at least for me).
    2. Use Alt - Tab to switch to another program; This will bring the mouse cursor.
    3. Press Ctrl + F2 to activate the Apple menu. (You can also move your cursor away to top left and click to activate the menu.)
    4. Press Ctrl + up arrow (or swipe up with 4 fingers on the touchpad) to activate the control of the Mission.

You can also find other ways to retrieve the cursor of your mouse.

Hope this can help you with the mouse pointer disappears.

In MBP El Capitan the pointer of the mouse is where you assign to ' picture in picture ' or 'full screen '.

If you miss your mouse pointer, accessibility-> display "Shake mouse to locate" check to find your mouse pointer. It should be there.

Note: you have posted in the discussion of the Mavericks, should have used the ElCapitan discussion...

  • Black screen with the mouse cursor, ONLY. Nothing else works.

I'm trying to fix a computer that, when started upward, ends with a black screen and a cursor after the initial screen for Micorsoft. The computer requires no log-in, so there is no screen connection first.

2 things I found that work at this stage.  I can move the mouse around, and if I hit the SHIFT key 5 times I get invited to turn on sticky keys (or not).

CTL-Alt-Del does nothing more than any other combinations of keys I've tried (and I have tried many).

I get the same results when I try to go to one of the Security Modes.

And just to make things interesting, we no longer have the original computer discs. I tried using the Vista disk that came with my Gateway laptop, but apparently it doesn't have the drivers for the HARD disk on the desktop controller because when I try to do a repair he does not find the local disk.  In this context, doing a complete reinstall could be a real challenge, so I really prefer that we can just fix the problem.

I don't have access to the command of computers through a plugged to my laptop external HARD drive docking station.  The drive seems to work ok from what I see.

Another forum suggested that the event logs might be corrupted.  So while I was looking through the files from my laptop, I renamed the folder for the event logs and created a new folder with the name of origin.  Unfortunately, this has not fixed the problem.

    Any ideas?

As a result of this issue:
I managed to get this computer working properly again.  The problem was something in Vista. For some reason, Vista was getting hung up before loading the office and could not go beyond that point.

I finally understood why the hard drive is not accessible when I boot on the CD.  It turns out that the motherboard has 2 controllers on it and the drive is connected to the secondary controller.  I moved to the DC main and solved this problem.

I was allowed to start a restore from CD and restored the operating system to a previous restore point.  After that, the computer started fine.  I can't say what was causing the problem for sure, but I suspect that he had executed an automatic update that did not fit right.

  • The mouse cursor changes to hand instead of the text tool when I hover over the text.

Normally whenever I have fly over the text in an e-mail or on the web, in order to highlight to copy and paste, the mouse cursor becomes a text tool.  However, now every time I have fly over the text, it remains on the hand tool.  Whenever I click on the mouse button, there just cause the hand to shake.  I can then move the page and everything I want to get off.  The only problem is, I want to highlight the text with the text tool, not handle the page with the hand.  My question is how to change the mouse cursor to get the text tool when it flies over text?

    Suggestions:

    Go to Safe Mode:

Shut down your computer > turn it back on and immediately and repeatedly tab key F8 until you see a black and white screen. Use the up/down arrow and selectSafe Mode with command prompt.

    1. in safe mode, please do a system restore. Choose the date where you did not have this problem as your restore point.
Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

    2. always in safe mode, do a check of the file system. See if file check will check for corrupted files and repair them.

Start button > Search box type cmd > look up, do a RIGHT click oncmd.exe > click onRun As Administrator > in this window cmd black and white, type at the prompt flashing sfc/scannow > press the ENTER key.
Note: there is a space between 'sfc' and ' / '.

  • Is there a "shortcut" that will bring the mouse cursor to a position of 'home' on the screen

We currently use Windows 7 and extended desktop in a dental practice that allows us to show images on another screen.  Often you "lose" the cursor on the screen when it is accidentally pushed above the extended desktop.   Y at - it a function that allows you to designate a «shortcut"that when pushed, will automatically return the cursor «before and at the centre"in the main screen?»   We already use it the function of 'location circles', but this is not enough in this situation.

    Thanks for your help, everyone.

You can of course.  I adapted the instructions below on the following page:

    http://flamingkeys.com/2011/03/moving-the-mouse-cursor-with-Windows-PowerShell/

And it works well.  Here's how.

    1. Open Notepad and paste these 3 lines.

      Add-Type - AssemblyName System.Windows.Forms
      $screen = [System.Windows.Forms.SystemInformation]: VirtualScreen
      [Windows.Forms.Cursor]: Position = '10', 10

    2. Save the file with a .ps1 name (it is a number at the end, not an I or L), taking care in the box save to select "all files (*.)" *)"in the menu file type to the bottom when you save it.  Example:

You can save this file anywhere you like. I recommend your C:\ drive or something, because this is not the file that someone will actually use directly.  You must create a shortcut instead.  I'll assume that you have saved under C:\MoveMouse.ps1 for the rest of this post.

    3. On your desktop, do a right click and make a new > shortcut.  As the location of your shortcut item, use the following:

      PowerShell.exe c:\MoveMouse.ps1

    4. Right click on your newly created shortcut and go to properties and assign a keyboard shortcut.  I used Ctrl + Shift + M to mouse.

That's all.  Now, whenever you press Ctrl + Shift + M, this script batch file executes and move your mouse to the location 10.10 on the screen (just inside the upper-left corner of the screen).

    Take advantage of :)

  • Firefox does not load pages unless moves the mouse or keyboard is pressed

    Hello

I saw this problem listed several times before this post, but none of the solutions have helped me.

I am using Firefox for ages and the latest 3 updates or so were expose this problem. When I try to load a website, Firefox will start to takes me to the page and then hang. The circle in the tab will stop moving and it will stay there until I move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard. As long as the mouse moves permanently or the keyboard keys are pressed, the page will load very well. The same thing happens with YouTube. The video starts and then freeze unless the keyboard/mouse is moved. Firefox also has this problem when I try to download a file from a Web site. The download starts and then hang on until I move the mouse or press a button, then it will continue for a few seconds and hang on again until I repeat the movement of the mouse or press the keyboard button.

So far, I tried to update Firefox, Java and Flash; Starting Firefox in Safe Mode; uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox: do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox with removing profile and creation. I ran ad next and malware detection with no infection found tools: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SuperAntispyware, and AdwCleaner scan Microsoft security, Windows Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy, utility Kasperky free Security Scan and Anti-rootkit TDSSKiller.

The only thing I tried that 'seemed' to work was from Windows Mode safe mode with networking and run Firefox there. I was able to watch YouTube videos without freezing and websites seem to load properly. Of course, I can't run in Mode safe all the time.

I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like when Firefox crashes on Google News. Note that the images in part loading, but a good number of them is waiting or not loaded.

I hope someone can help me, because I like Firefox and I wouldn't switch to Chrome or (shudder) IE.

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • I have to move the mouse to load pages

    Hello
I am running version 34.0 Firefox and I have to move the mouse to load pages or videos. I don't have to do this problem in Internet Explorer, Firefox only.

This problem can be caused by malicious software.

Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.
