  The files are in 04 who's ODI installation box
  
  
  2. enforcement Repo
  
  to scenario1 execution repo installed in ODI 07 which is ODI installation box
  but not able to move the data from flat file to target DB.
  
  We get an error - file not found.
  
  File is located in the box 04.
  
  My question is that what is the best process to make scenario1 course migrated to work.

  Ideally, in repo Prod, you must have prod 07 agent.

  I do a first View 4.5 trial/POC. Everything went very well so far. I built our first test Thinapp which seems to work fine, however, I am unable to get them to added in administrator mode.

  I added a deposit without error, I've given the share the following permissions:

  The share for the repository is a Netapp file server.

  The problem is when I go to administrator mode Thinapp section and choose "Scan new Thinapps" I choose the repository and nothing shows up under it, any records, files, nothing. If I choose to scan from the root of the repository and click Next, no files are listed for scan.

  I checked that there are no NTFS ACLs on the file sharing. I'm not sure is this account is used to try to do this scan. All View connector services are running as local system, I have not yet tried to change that, but will be soon.

  Anyone has any ideas as to why he constantly thinks that the repository is empty, when in fact it is not? The Thinapps were built with the MSI option and I think everything this side of things has been done correctly.

  So I deleted all permissions to this folder and gave a specific account that has seen nothing to do with full rights.

  I was able to reproduce your problem.  Records would not be listed on the view admin console.  I was not able to add any thinapps.

  I then proceeded to the add the server connection account to the folder he gave total control.  Success, I was able to enumerate folders and add the thinapps in the repository.

  Now, I've decided tighten security and reduced read-only.  Yet once again, I was able to enumerate the directory and add the thinapps in the repository.

  So, it seems that needs account computer access to the folder and just give him a read access is sufficient.

  Boy, I REALLY hate the way that designer stores PL/SQL in the repository. This is why we returned to maintain all our packages PL/SQL files with TOAD. But you do not have this option, so here's how it works:

  If you do a server 'capture' to a PL/SQL package, each procedure and function in the package will become a separate module. That includes overloaded modules - this is where you get CASCADE_DELETE1, CASCADE_DELETE2 etc. Each of them is stored in a separate module, but if you look at the name of the implementation (one of the properties of the module), you will see that all the overloaded versions have the same implementation name (probably CASCADE_DELETE, right?). If the application name is null, it defaults to the short name of the module.

  So what happened to the package itself, and how the repository knows that all these procedures and functions belong to him? You will find the package in packages and modules it contains are referenced as program of subunits, including the use of "INCLUDE" property Their order in the package is maintained by the property called Sequence. Look at the procedure or the Scope of the function property. If the field is private, the module is in the package body, but not in the definition. If the field is Public, the module is in body and specifications.

  If you build the package, you should get all of the generated package, but if you build a single module, that's all you get - a function or a stand-alone procedure. A side effect interesting - you can have the same procedure or function in several packages, while including it in more than one.

  Assuming that the middle is inside the library, just copy it to another disk and remove it from the SSD. It must be a Mac disk in format.

  You can use the Profile Manager to create a new profile on a different hard drive folder by clicking on the button "choose a folder.
  Be sure to select a new empty file and not a folder that already contains files.

  You can transfer files from the current profile folder to this folder.
