  Right-click on an empty spot in the taskbar and unlock it. Grad white spot a drag it down. Relock the taskbar.

  I am new to Adobe Livecycle Designer (version 8.0). I created an interactive pdf form of 3 pages with many objects (text fields, radio buttons, drop-down lists, etc.), our company wants to quickly start to use.

  I'm having trouble with some of my Javascript does not not with some of my items on page 2 of the form. Specifically, there is a drop down menu to "Country" on page 2 of my form. When the user selects, for example, 'United States' in the list, I have the Javascript code that is supposed to change the 'currency' list drop-down to "Dollars" rawValue accordingly (on the change event).

  I think that my Javascript syntax is correct, but I am not sure. Here's my simple Javascript associated with the "Country" drop-down list (Note: rawValue 80 = 'United States' and 105 rawValue = "US $"):

  It sounds pretty simple and it WORKS when my "Country" drop-down list is moved to page 1 of the form, but it WON'T WORK when I move the combo box "Country" return to page 2 of the form (i.e. where it belongs).

  Anyone has suggestions or solutions? I spent probably 6-8 hours of racking my brain trying to figure out why it works when on a single page, but it does not work when to move to another page. I guess I can have corrupted something OR that I not address fully the proper name of the object?

  Yes, it's a quirk of... in the drop-down lists when you select an item in the DOF it is not committed until you exit the field, unless you do the following:

  If (this.boundItem (xfa.event.newText) == 1) {}

  ElseIf (this.boundItem (xfa.event.newText) == 2) {}

  cmbCurrency.rawValue = 2;

  }

  The xfa.resolveNode stuff was not necessary that both objects are of the same subform, and as such can 'see' each other.

  Think like a folder structure subforms - elements can see what is in their own folder but will say where to find things in other folders. If cmbCountry was subform1 and cmbCurrency was so in subform2 that rawValue above lines would look like:

  subform2.cmbCurrency.RawValue = 1;

  It's a good idea to name all your objects, subforms, etc. it is to work with script is much easier - so you won't have to deal with things like these pieces of xfa.resolveNode you had before (as well).   I use LM 4.0.1 with ESX 4.0.  We have a huge amoutn of machines in our test environment, so we aret area using thin provisioned disks if ever possible, my question is this:

  When I create the model of the virtual machine, it create hard drive configured as thin.  I am able to update the machine, install the VMware tool and publish it.  When I create a new configuration and add this model, it seems to blow the drive at full capacity.  I tried the two linked clone and full options available by machine when you create a configuration, but he always blows my virtual disk of 60 GB at full size on the image into the workspace.

  Am I missing a step very important, or is - not pssoible images thin provisioned used in the way I talk.  We cannot support our image storage needs be supplied thickness, so I'm really looking for a solution to this problem.  Thank you.

  There are full clone and restrictions for the use of thin disks, see the release notes for known issues http://www.vmware.com/support/labmanager40/doc/releasenotes_labmanager401.html#thindiskissues ... so a full clone will convert indeed a "thin" disc in a disc 'thick' to the clone target.

  Linked clones have discs delta below. As written record increase, increase the changes between the basic disk and the linked clone and these changes are what go in delta drive more. LM can show the linked as 'thicker', disk clone since the delta disc is no longer considered 'thin '. However, they start small, about 16MB. If you say that you get a full 60 GB disk when you bind the clone, something is wrong since LM should never do that. Really check if shows the linked clone disk size 60 GB on the data store?

  Here's my problem: I suspect his cause and resolution will be very simple, but I can't find an answer until now.

  I use a laptop Windows XP SP3, joined to a domain in native mode Windows 2003.

  While I think it could be linked to the machine looking for domain resources, the command binding adapter or similar, I was unable to make an impact on this behavior.

  If I return the config by disabling my adapter wireless and reconnect the wired adapter, everything returns to normal and performance is as expected.

  I have not tried to change binding adapter - my wireless adapter was higher than the wired NETWORK adapter already but seemed worth - no dice.
  I also tried releasing the config on the wired adapter, DNS and ARP cache flush, and then connect the wi - fi. See no difference.

  I'd love to hear any constructive suggestions how to solve this problem; attempts to use ProcMon and Wireshark for the cause were unsuccessful, but maybe I'm looking at the wrong data.

  I have a column of text with void heads and a few lines of text below each subtitle. I have small places graphic next to each subtitle. I want the graphics to match with the subtitle. When I discovered this browser, the rush of graphics mode and lose their positions. Especially if you enlarge the display in your browser (Safari > order > more) or reduce the view (command > less).   At Mondottica, we create "Linesheets" permanently for our customers to highlight the latest glasses. I have attached an image to give a brief overview of our courses, and a video that shows a simplified example of how our PDF products are created.

  At some point, we could work with more than 100 frames of glasses to be sunk in an InDesign document, so something that takes several hours, I don't know may be reduced to minutes.

  I suspect scripting or InCatalog could be the answer, but before we go down a rabbit hole, I would like to hear from others. I know that I'm not the first person to encounter this problem so I know no answer there.
