  You're confused image with dimensions in pixels size.

  There is no problem as long as you has not changed the dimensions/resizing the image when you saved as jpg.

  Check the dimensions in pixels of the original and the jpg - they should be the same.

  To put it otherwise - size of the image in megabytes are not an indicator of the size of an image (the size it will print). Dimensions in pixels are.

  Your entire development is off? You may be able to disconnect and reconnect. You can check this thread for more suggestions:

• OK to edit images in folders compared to Collections?

  I'm a bit new to LR.  For most of my work, I import RAW images in LR and then use or create one or more Collections to organize the imported images.  Then I do my editing from a Collection.

  There are some works, however, which is very simple and do not have the advantage of Collections.  For this work, I just want to import all the RAW files in a folder, make simple changes develop fast in library mode, then export all the images in jpg.  Once the work is finished, I move the files of my internal HD to an external hard drive and at this time there delete the files from my LR catalog.

  QUESTION: Is there a reason I can't do all of my work editing image in the file, rather than create a Collection of all the images in my folder?  It seems to work very well work in a folder rather than in a collection, but I thought I'd ask because maybe I'm missing something.

  In the case of LR, you always work on an image, any view that you are using to see (folder, Collection, Collection of Smart,...). If you're still pointing to the same thing, simply different ways to arrange the subsets of things.

  An Exception to the above: If you're applying pics / rejects, they only remain with the local image, which means that an image can be taken in a collection and rejected in a folder.

• Problem moving loaded external image

  I am new to AS3 and I'm having a problem moving an external image loaded into a class. I don't know how to move the loaded external image.  I thought about creating a Sprite and then passing an extra child Sprite, which I would then load the image.  But I get this error:

  I can honestly say that I don't know why the problem exists... and that's probably because I'm not well versed in the field of the class.  But since you have a handle on the spHolder object, you do not need to target through the parent...

  I am very new to Captivate and myself teaching on the fly. I watched the little available in Captivate tutorials and one mentioned that you can use the library for editing images in photoshop, and then automatically update in this slide in the Captivate project.
  
  When I open my library said edit edit with ImageReady. I tried and saved the image, but it won't let me save it as a PNG so I can't import into the library. I ended up opening the image in ImageReady, use it to send the image to PhotoShop, save is a GIF just remove the background of the slide, and then add the picture to the slide.
  
  This slide also had one click on the button with a text message to hover and a text message of failure that I had then to move to the front to show when you click on the page or hover the click button. It was a pain that I had to drive the background image, then use make before then bring the background again image and selecting all three components (click the 2 text boxes and the box) has not been easy.
  
  There must be a better way. Any ideas?

  When you right-click on an image in the library, that he opens with is often unknown. In my view, that the actual image file type determines which editor is used (assuming we have already been assign├⌐, which it can). But normally, you see "Edit with...". "as the only option you have. And once you choose that, you choose the editor desired. So even if ImageReady is already there, you should also be able to right click and choose "Edit with...". "even if she has been associated with. Then, open the image in the application of your choice.

  I've seen where once the change has been made in the other application and that you close the application and save the changes, the image is unable to automatically update in Captivate. But if it happens, it's pretty easy to image right click and choose update... from the context menu to synchronize the changes.

  It also points to something else that you should be aware. When you update the images that have been added since your hard drive, you probably think that you change only the images that are in the. CP file. But what you do really updates the image to the location where you inserted go! So if it is important that you maintain a pristine copy of the image, make sure you that you first save under a new name of file if you keep the original!

• Impossible to edit images after installing CS6

  I just installed CS6 on my macbook pro.  The installation was successful, and I am able to open files in CS6.

  Lightroom 4 is also installed on this machine, and I noticed that lightroom updated the external program to CS6 (from CS5).  When I select an image and choose Edit in CS6 from within lightroom, CS6 launches, but the file never opens.  I have re-installed and can't seem to get and files to open the CS6.

  Can anyone offer some advice here?  I'm really glad to get CS6 working with Lightroom.

• Splitting, mower, editing images - how?

  Without much knowledge of technical terms of Captivate, I struggled to find all the right messages on this point-apologies if this has been covered before in detail (and I'm sure it has)

  I've been dealing with Captivate 4 and recorded simulations of simple software of an activity of powerpoint for a training video.

  On one of the slides that I created, I want only the first seconds or "frames" of an animation as a 'fixed image' that I can add subtitles and audio in-basically I don't need the rest of the animation that Captivate created for this slide (which is a mouse cursor expand the comments pane in powerpoint). Obivously I can't remove the slide itself.

  Is there a way to see the Captivate animation created in the form of frames, so that I can split the video and / or remove any moving images I don't want? I used a calendar in iMovie and Final cut express (movie Mac edition programs) and found it very easy to do. I'm sure that Captivate will be much richer than one of these two editors of consuumer, but now have the idea how!

  Any help will be much appreciated.

  Your question, I detect that you had the demonstration captured full recording of moving images? Or that you're talking about a part that has been registered by CP in FMR. You see a 'camera' on the slide icon (in the film strip)? If this is the case, open the library window, click with the right button of the mouse on the slide and choose 'search the library '. The TMF will be selected in the library (Media folder), click with the right mouse button and choose "Edit with FMR-editor. However, editing options are limited.

  It might be easier to catch the 'fixed' image you want. Don't forget to select the "auto-save" (still camera, second button in the toolbar of capture) or possibly manual recording (button fourth, with the icon of mountains). Press Printscreen to get a desired image.

  Hope you don't mind my explain somehow the natural workflow in CP? Unlike other screencapture software, CP excels in capturing still images every time that a change must be recorded and only switches to FMR (video mode) when really necessary, e.g. for drag and drop or other activities of the mouse. This is what we call the "AutoSave" mode Not only is resulting in much smaller that a total video recording, but the editing possibilities are much more important: you can add bearings, text captions, images, objects and their time to your wishes. This gives you much more control.
