Moving project to another project files

I am trying to operate against existing screws well known in a single project by copying on a similar project. I'm by drag and drop from the window from one project to the other. Unfortunately, LabVIEW wants to create contradictory elements in the destination project, variable shared, e.g., the source lvlib, etc. I can work around the variables shared, but, in general, what is the 'best practice' for this task? My expectation is that the copied files would be "disconnected" from their source lvlib and "reconnected" to the lvlib of destination automatically.

Why don't you just drag and drop the lvlib?

Guess, you would drag the VI out of the lvlib in a project just in the project, so disconnect the lvlib owner.

Save the vi.

Then drag and drop the source project in the target project in the lvlib.

Good luck

  • How do I reduce the data file after the moving images to another data file

    All,

    I did a test of simepl to see how should I reduce my data file after the transfer of the objects thereof.

    I had an image in my data file USER_image, which is about 9 GB in size. I created the new data under the new tablpespace file and moved all the images in this new space of tables. So my old tablespace of image with its data file is now empty. At least there is not all user objects.

    Now I tried to resize the old datafile (USER_image) to a smaller value, but I keep this error
    "ORA-03297: file contains data beyond the value required to RESIZE.

    The file size is 9 GB and I tried to resize to 8 GB but it still does not allow me.

    Is it possible to resize a data file after moving all its purpose?
    I'm something wrong or missing something?

    Thanks in advance.

    If you old image tablespace is indeed empty (you need to run a statement against DBA_SEGMENTS to check) then you can bring it, data files included.
    After this, you can create a 'new' tablespace with the old name and desired data file sizes.

  • CS4 Pro - project pulling of ~ 80 computer moving files can I be part of the project files?

    I'm a newbie, so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I have a new computer and got rid of everything on my old. I have a project that has audio clips and 80 + files in different locations on my old computer. I do not plan to put the old files on my new computer. I am also changing from XP to Windows 7 so go files in different directories.

    Is it possible to create a major project file that includes all of the clips that are in the project, rather than have them externally referenced? I can wish change the video in the future, moving clips, etc., so I don't want to just save an avi file.

    I hope this makes sense. Thank you in advance for your help!

  • using the cfg recorded vi analyzer for another project file

    Hello

    I have a cfg VI Analyzer file that works with the project, in which it was created. It contains settings that I use for all my projects. When I copy the cfg to a new project file, it only allows me to analyze the project, just. Is there a way to redirect the file to the new project?

    Tay

    If you open your .cfg in Notepad, you see a reference to your other project or file path?  If so, this is the token that must be modified to be associated with a different project.  I suggest to make a copy of your file and record a new to work with your new project.

  • PE8: Transfer project file from one processor to another

    Hi, I just transferred my project files and the actual PE8 file that goes with them to a new processor (new cpu is a new hp with 1 GB graphic raedeon, 1 TB HDD, 8 GB of DDR3 and Windows 7 hp)

    I installed PE8 and updated to 8.1, and the installation of all the contents of the dvd. I opened the file and it comes up saying "where is Mu022.mpg? I chose the physical file of my office and PE8 froze and shut down.

    I opened again and jumped past where is... part and found my video fully covered in 'offline' media icons.

    Is it possible to update all the files at the same time as the only way is freezing? or is there something else that needs to be done?

    Thanks in advance for all advice offered. I appreciate it!

    Yes. Once you check in the project files to a new location, you should be able to just open the .prel file and all media will be there.

  • Error when you try to open a Windows Movie Maker. MSWMM file: cannot be opened because it is not a valid windows movie maker project file

    Help! Says the file can't be flat, .mswmm file, but the program made the film.

    I used the Windows to make a film, I scanned 458 pictures, done my book of stories, etc. with music - took a month... I "published" and now when I go to open it it says ' cannot be opened because it is not a valid windows movie maker project file? But the Director did, now I can't open it to all, it has an .mswmm file extension! Help, it's a gift for my dad who is going to be 70 and I have not yet a month to make it again!

    Hi, I'm having a similar problem but have 1 idea as to why I can't open my .mswmm file. I have two xp machines running sp3, but a pro and a home edition if it matters.

    the file.mswmm I am trying to open was created on the moviemaker version 2.1.4028.0 and it still works fine on this machine. On the xp pro machine, he is Director of windows 2.1.4026.0.

    So I try to install the movie maker 28 to my other machine I have a lot of files created with the 28 I want to be able to change on the other computer.

    =============================================
    The project .mswmm file is best to use the system that created
    because it takes all the source files... Video clips, Photos, music
    files... always be available at the original location.

    Moving from one computer to another can work if you move as best
    all of the source files. When you open the .mswmm file you will see
    Xs red instead of thumbnails of the source but if you right click the red Xs
    You should be able to navigate to the new location of the files sources and re-
    establish the path.

  • Moving projects between computers

    PP CC 2015.

    I have three computers running it (multiple licenses). Two are in the office and we're at home.

    I keep the OS/apps on a single disk (SSD) and PP projects and active on another disc (also a SSD). The PP project file is in its own folder "project xxx. In this folder is also an active folder, which has everything for the given project, including clips, images, etc. I leave the PP to the value by default when you create a new project, which places all the files from scratch in the same location as the project - putting an automatic check in the folder 'Project xxx' file, too. I have a separate folder on the SSD projects where PP projects are where I run preference > database and media Cache files. The structures of path are the same on all the computers of three of the drive letter down.

    So, it looks like this:

    C: OS/apps

    E:

    -Data > PP projects > file xxx project

    -Project xxx file

    -Assets folder

    -Auto-Save folder

    -PP media cache files and database file

    I want to be able to move a project from one computer to the other.

    That should be simple enough in theory - just copy the folder 'Project xxx' and it takes the project file and assets with her, that copy on the computer target and, assuming that the project has been moved back, replace (or, rather, first remove) all that was target of an earlier version of the project in the same folder on the computer. Simple. Right? Except maybe for the part about the removal of the former associated files to the target computer where the old version of the project existed.

    Thus, the following questions come to the top:

    1. is the correct AutoSave subfolder of hover over just with him? (I guess "Yes, of course.")

    2. when I get to the computer target, what I have to delete the old project files or files in the media cache folder (files and database), or both?

    3. is there something else I'm on?

    Thank you!

    Hi Jay NW,.

    3. is there something else I'm on?

    Yes, use the project manager to collect the files and function copy to a new location. It is much easier.

    Thank you

  • iMovie project file

    How can I save a project as an 'iMovie project file' and share it with others so that they can change whatever they want in it? Using iMovie 10.1.1

    Do not save as a project file option as in iMovie iPad.

    Don't see anything in the events of iMovie folder.

    You must share a comprehensive library, if you create a library containing only the desired project and its associated events.  Note that other people must use exactly the same version of iMovie and if you have media from your library which comes from the library from another application (for example. Photos) must be "consolidated" library.  See: http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.1/#/mov882dee351

    Frankly, this is not a simple thing or practice to do so.

  • RTE de LV cannot open the project files that include references .lvlib in dependencies

    I am writing a DLL LabVIEW to inspect the LabVIEW project files, and I noticed that if a project has a .lvlib reference in its dependencies, then the Run-Time Engine is contradictory on whether or not he can find the project file:

    • Project.Open returns error 7 (file not found)

    • Project.GetFileLVVersion is a success

    Here are some excerpts from my code of G and C engaged in this behavior:

       int openStatus = StatusSuccess;
    char * projectVersion = createStringWithLength (VersionStringLength);

    printf ("Analysis %s\n", pathchaine);
    OpenProject (pathchaine & openStatus, projectVersion, VersionStringLength);
    printf (" project written in LabVIEW %s\n", projectVersion);

    If (openStatus is StatusSuccess)
    {
    printf (" Open the project file.") \n") ;
    }
    on the other
    {
    printf("Error: could not find Project file, or file was not a Project file (Error code %i).\n», openStatus);")
    }

    However, when running in the development environment, the two methods are successful.

    Here's another way to trigger this behavior, which shows that LabVIEW occasionally Range the element dependencies:

      1. Open "OpenProject.lvproj" in LabVIEW.

  • Add to the project a new VI and place the constant path of file "Application Directory" his block diagram.

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)" and use the default name for the new VI.

  • Type 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj' OpenProject

  • Notice that there is a mistake once again, as is expected.

  • Remove the "Application Directory" path of file constant

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)"

  • Type 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj' OpenProject

  • Note that the problem has disappeared, as is expected.

  • Add the "Application Directory" path of file constant in the block diagram.

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)"

  • Type 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj' OpenProject

  • Notice there is no problem, which is surprising, because that there should be a mistake because the dependencies item was not tidy.

  • Close the new VI and pull out of the project.

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)"

  • Open "OpenProject.lvproj" in a text editor.

  • Note that the dependencies item was put away.

  • Add VI back to the project.

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)"

  • Type 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj' OpenProject

  • Notice that there is a mistake once again, as is expected.

    When I used to get the path of LabVIEW libdir in the ini of the executable file, execution is able to load and inspect the project file.

    LIBDIR = 'C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 2013'

    While it is expected that a stand-alone executable can be placed on a system that does not have the LabVIEW IDE, it is still surprising to me that the execution engine cannot find standard library of LabVIEW without some explicit guidance. What other factors contribute to this behavior?

  • NEITHER supplied include files copied to project files?

    I pulled out a project compiled and disseminated under a particular version of the CVI [8.1.x].

    Then some time later, another person retrieved the project for maintenance and has tried to compile it, they could not find the NOR include files.

    They come back to me!

    The reason why they could not compile the project was that they used the CVI 9.x.

    The project was looking for the include files in \Program Files\CVI81. Complaints went to the Manager.

    So, the question is a practical common.

    If the list of project files, point on the NOR prescribed [installed] folder locations.

    or if the necessary include files be copied manually in 'local' project folders before the release?

    Thank you

    Scott Youngren

    Northrop/Grumman electronic systems

    The short answer is no: OR the include files must remain in their repertoire; the IDE should solve all the paths by itself.

    To learn more:

    • #include directives must only list the names of files, not the path names
    • All basic guidelines OR files include must go in the support of style (for example #include )
    • Instruments include files should go in the style of the quotes (e.g., "inifile.h" #include)
    • Your include files may go to the source folder or other folders of your choice (see following)
    • Change project options to set 'Include path' (i.e. folders where the include files are searched): applied to all the draft instruments loaded like a library specific to the current project for application-specific include paths

    I always got my projects in accordance with these rules and never had a problem in the upgrade version of the IDE while developing. You will see that most of them is automatically defined by CVI (e.g. when the system asks you to include some files needed for some statement: it uses the correct style).

I still have to "collect" the AE project file that creates yet another copy of the same AE project file... You are not missing anything. The current implementation of the project manager can either copy only the file of AE project or you can choose to select Convert after effects Compositions of Clips, which allows to convert your AE project a transcoded file.
