  Hello, Dday, this looks like a problem maybe caused by adware on your pc.

  Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.).
  
  also go to Control Panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.
  
  Finally, run a full scan of your system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

  A few months previously, out of the blue, windows pop up never came on firefox.
  What I was doing was urgent, so I used IE (grrr!) instead.

  Not related to your question, but your above posted system details see the several Console Java extensions.
  
  You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension, you do not need to run Java applets.

  I consult and post on several forums and after still showing request if I want to enable or not, while in reality all that happens is that I made a post or reply to a thread, and the page is back just to include my message in the thread.

  I reinstalled my computer a couple of weeks and this has happened ever since.

  Seem, it maybe sorted, if I uncheck the box, warn if a page redirects or reload a page.

  Hmm seems a little stupid when everything that makes the page displays your post on a forum.

  I got an update for Mozilla Firefox over the weekend, and since then, he's not working 100% correctly. I have version 13.0.1

  I use gmail, but now can't seem to log on. I can get to the page, log in no problem, but when I have my details it tries to connect but nothing that really happens (you can see 'connection... ("with the circle in the field title tab, it seems to be something, but nothing is really happening).

  There was once when I got to the Inbox, but only the HTML version (you know one you get if you have a slow connection), but then I actually can't open my emails and eventually left the game. This has not happened since.

  I also use another account with gmail for work (which we use by logging in via a portal on our website) and have been having a similar with this problem only that sometimes the pop-up that appears just pops up as a topic: blank tab.

  Refresh the page (for an account) does not appear to have any effect.

  I can work around the problem for now by using IE, but for a variety of reasons, I prefer to be able to use Firefox.

Please enter Subject: config in the location bar, search for all the preferences that begin with network.http. and are set to a custom value (= in bold).   When I've upgraded to Firefox 24, all the v23 option settings restore default values. I put them back the way I had them before, but after restarting the browser, all default as before. I use NoScript, and any change to its rules is also lost when I restart the browser. I rebooted several times. with no system restarts and the results are always the same.

  History and passwords seem to be updated and kept in sessions. The problem is with the data to configure Firefox and NoScript.

  I am running XP SP3 with 2 user accounts. One is an administrator account that I use only for the maintenance of the system, and the other is a limited account where I do most of my work. The admin account, where I installed v24, remembers changes in configuration between sessions; the problem is with the limited account, which is the one that I care.

This folder contains now 86 prefs-files numbered out of all 3 have maintenance date today, but the file prefs.js watch was yesterday, before I improved versions.

  There are also 25 sessionstore-files numbered, that have all of the old dates, but the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files show as recent.

  Following the instructions, it seems that the file for the limited account has been altered in the upgrade to the Version 24. I deleted, and the problem is solved.

  First of all, I really want to thank you for holding this type of support.  I have technical questions for laptop and it happens to be your guy - for Expert days how unfortunately had the chance of me!

  I have a 4 years old HP Pavilion dv7 - 2277cl, Windows 7 operating system. I had a problem for months now with my recharge battery.  Whenever I plug in the AC adapter, it is said "plugged in, not charging."  For the last two months, I was able to get away, stirring the adapter so that it can load, even if my method 'all or nothing' does more work.  I opened the Device Manager and updated the three drivers under "Stacks" (which were all updated), tried to uninstall the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control and restart my laptop (nothing has changed). I tried to stop the laptop and tried to turn it back on with only the AC adapter is plugged (who doesn't) and even calibrated my battery - who only left until the point where I have a charge of 5%, and it has connected for more than 12 hours...

  So, somehow the battery IS loading, but only when the laptop is turned off. While the battery icon is always displayed "blocked, do not load," the battery changed miraculously since a 38-78% more than a day to load (stopcock).  Ditto for when I calibrated the battery somehow it responsible for a charge of 5% of weakness, but full of hope...

  The culprit would be the battery, the power adapter or the laptop itself? I am a broke college student so it would strain my wallet to get help in the store, I am looking for help!

  If you turn on the laptop without the power adapter there is of course a mistake with the AC adapter. Substitute must address your situation.
