Mozilla will prevent a potentially dangerous business of emailing me?

I got some writings of these people post Wednesday afternoon. I had also seen their TV ads. After the following account was held on this day, I deleted no less than seven e-mails from them, the latest being at 10:45 tonight... now Friday morning).

He has not immediately occur to me that a 'stamps (dot) com"offering free stamps to print would NOT be affiliated with the U.S. Postal Service. I created an account @ this site I thought WAS the USPS. I was not just give that any thought angle.

Later, I found that I had no color ink in my printer. I called their number to cancel the account, but they had already moved and took some money from my bank account. Maybe it's just a little money, but he wets me off really bad. They said they would return to my Bank and cancel the account. From 12:35 on Friday morning, the dollar is still missing, still listed as a debit on my bank account.

These SEVEN or more emails I talked earlier? One of them contained the phrase "we renounced fees for your first month! The last of them, had (so far?) in the subject line. your welcome kit has shipped! I think I saw where there is no charge for this kit. More than likely, it is a kind of kit "all paper". But these TAXES for the first month after an initial trial period of 4 weeks, are $15.99! We only use MANY stamps by month.

I tried to call them again, but I got two incorrect phone numbers in the process. Finally, a call is connected with a real man, making sure that no more money would be taken from my bank account. So far, which has held true.

BUT, I've been back online, now having to hunt it down. The Chase ends when Firefox lets me know that it is an unreliable site, to get out me of here!

What happened, but also running in circles on the phone? Of course, for coming back to their site Web is potentially dangerous and emails that seem to never stop! Can Mozilla nip these idiots in the bud before they either infect my computer or empty my bank account dry?

Contact your bank to stop these charges. And contact the U.S. Postal Service on the literature that has been mailed to you; sounds like a federal law has been violated.

Mozilla has nothing to do with these exploits.

  • Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially dangerous operation URLloader, URLrequest

    Hi all

    , I'm working on a flash site that loads direct inventory publish data from a csv file public google docs.  the csv file is located in a public address on the server of google docs: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US & hl = en_US & key = 0AlJnOKOffTSxdG5aU0RLLVFvc3B xblVXQlMtcnlFZVE & single = true & gid = 3 & output = csv

    I use a URLloader and URLrequest in my flash movie to retrieve these data and assign it to different variables.

    It works fine when I preview the movie in flash.

    However, when I publish the movie and preview the loading html file in dreamweaver, I get a warning from security of the adobe flash player: Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially dangerous operation

    I advanced and published the html file that contains the SWF for the web, and when I go on my site, I get even the reader flash, warning; It is just there like its trying to load the URLrequest and never complete.

    I understand that flash player has a security policy that prevents access to files outside of the directory on the server that the swf file is published to flash files.  I know that you can create strategy xml files to say flash, it's normal load data, but the policy files must be located on the public server where the data is be caught.   But it's not like I can waltz on google's servers a stick a policy in this file!

    Is there a way to tell the flash player that is correct load these data without getting that error of security?  I can't get the user to have to go in the settings of the flash and adding the location manually.  I just need to work without the security warning.

    Is there another method of loading data from an external server without tripping security flash player? aka, something other than URLloader and URLrequest?

    Here is the actionscript code that I use:

    loadInventory ("Text","https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US & hl = en_US & key = 0AlJnOKOffTSxdG5aU0RLLVFvc3B xblVXQlMtcnlFZVE & single = true & gid = 3 & output = csv" ");

    function loadInventory(product:String,_address:String):void {}

    var loaderData:String = new String();

    var loader: URLLoader = new URLLoader();

    loader.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, completeHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (Event.OPEN, openHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, progressHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (SecurityErrorEvent.SECURITY_ERROR, securityErrorHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (HTTPStatusEvent.HTTP_STATUS, httpStatusHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, ioErrorHandler);

    var request: URLRequest = new URLRequest (address);

    try {}

    Loader.Load (request);

    } catch (error: Error) {}

    trace ("unable to load requested document.");

    }

    }

    function completeHandler(event:Event):void {}

    var loader: URLLoader = URLLoader (event.target);

    importedData = loader.data;

    gotoAndStop (currentFrame + 1);

    }

    function openHandler(event:Event):void {}

    trace ("openHandler:" + event);

    }

    function progressHandler(event:ProgressEvent):void {}

    trace ("progressHandler loaded:" + event.bytesLoaded + "total:" + event.bytesTotal);

    }

    function securityErrorHandler(event:SecurityErrorEvent):void {}

    trace ("securityErrorHandler:" + event);

    }

    function httpStatusHandler(event:HTTPStatusEvent):void {}

    trace ("httpStatusHandler:" + event);

    }

    function ioErrorHandler(event:IOErrorEvent):void {}

    trace ("ioErrorHandler:" + event);

    }

    I would appreciate help with this.  Thanks in advance!

    use a local file (in your swf) to loading data cross-domain and access the local file with your swf file.

  • Easy way to prevent contacts to receive too many emails?

    I'm new to Eloqua and am trying to organize a number of campaigns. I was wondering if there is an easy way to prevent different campaigns of sending emails to the contact even too often? If this isn't the case, then I will have to try to build it in the countryside.

    Hey Kevin,

    According to your campaigns, there are a number of different solutions:

    1. you can place all sends the email on a canvas. Insert several segments with different tracks to feed to their suite. If this sense with your email series, you can leave the default setting of the campaign in a box unchecked to "allow the contacts to enter the campaign several times. This will prevent a contact to enter several E-mail paths (even if they are included in several segments).

    2. If this solution is not make sense for your business, you can always shift your send and a rule of decision to enter for "Email sent? Then, before the deployment of every e-mail, you can check to see if the contact has been sent to another campaign and remove them from the series of e-mail.

    I hope this helps!

  • When Mozilla will set Firefox so that it plays videos on PBS?

    I recently installed Mozilla Firefox Version 32.0.2.5373 and Adobe Flash Player Version 10.3 r183, but when I try to display audiovisual presentations hosted by PBS or its local subsidiary the result comes back repeatedly: "error loading skin: loading of Crossdomain refused.» These same files play fine with Google Chrome Version 37.0.2062.120 m, which leads me to believe that you have something that needs fixing. When this will come to pass?

    I tested it and the videos will play once you disable the rule of ' amazon web services ' within the https-everywhere - so you can keep the extension enabled for other sites...

  • MSE will prevent this sneaky virus enter my computer?

    Hello

    http://News.BBC.co.UK/1/hi/technology/8624560.stm

    The foregoing indicates that the sneaky rootkit virus settle in a computer and pen passwortd, user name, credit card number, without the user's knowledge. Even for me who uses the computer for trade, Bank ect.

    What worries me is that I can't find EPC mentioned under the table tools anti-rootkit free mentioned here in this article. !

    I know that I'm not with XP OS but got Win7 x 64 OS and most recent the MS security updates are installed. Would that be enough, I wonder?

    Concerning

    Hi, snowshine,

    Trojans are already do everything above. There is no miracle cure that will find and fix everything. As soon as someone comes to another AV, there could be something the new AV capture others, we could have.

    "Microsoft has urged those who are infected to ensure their machine is cleaned of the rootkit." He recommends using its tool to remove malware or other security companies rootkit detectors. »

    There are rootkit tools which are made specially to find what could miss some AV. Your Win7 x 64 OS, last MS Security installed updates with MSE sounds like a good combination. Add Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Win Patrol, and you'll be in good shape. On the other hand, if you live dangerously by participating in P2P (file sharing), go to sites that are dangerous, opening attached when they shouldn't, etc... sooner or later you get will circulate and no security is going to save you. Be vigilant. Use a hardware and a software firewall and security software, and you should be fine.

  • The EVO 840 will limit the potential of the 850 Pro in this configuration?

    Consider the following configuration for use with Adobe first Pro CC 2014 after effects CC 2014 (I would especially rendering/export to .mp4 or h.264 using AVCHD source media):

    Motherboard: MSI X99S game 7

    OS: Windows 8.1 Pro

    CPU: Intel 5960 x (cache 8 core 3.0 ghz, 20 MB)

    GPU: SLI GTX 970 s 2

    RAM: 32 GB

    SSD:

    Samsung 250 840 EVO for OS, swap file and programs

    1 TB Samsung 850 Pro for media Cache, export, Original/Source of media files, shows previews and projects.

    Given the above configuration, the EVO 840, in any form or means, would limit the potential of the 850 pro during any type of export/rendering/reading?  I doubt it because most of the work is done on the 1 to 850 Pro, but I don't really know for sure.  Considering that the application itself should be read and works on the Pro 840, I really don't know if it will be potentially bottleneck Pro 850 during these crucial processes.  Can someone point me directly here?  In addition to this, is there another way recommend you allocating the types of different files in the above configuration?

    wastingyourlifeaway wrote:

    That's just my assumption.  Where I am wrong, or is this correct?  To use the true benefits of the 850 Pro, installed on the SSD applications should also be a 850 Pro?

    Sorry to say but you are wrong, but it's good.  When you open the first or any application, it extends memory RAM, so let your applications on the EVO drive.
