Some games run very slow on Windows 8, as...
Some games run very slow on Windows 8 as (chicken Invasion "v1, v2, v3" in red alert 2, Age of Empire 2)
but on Windows 7 on the same Machine perform perfectly, I tried to install DirectX,.
and tried to install the latest Version of the Driver VGA for Windows8 and tried to change VGA (Nvidia, AMD, Intel)
but the games (not all games just a few) still running slow...? !!!
Help, please...Wrong, wrong, wrong.
This is entirely based on compatibility to a level beyond what is offered in the standard "Windows compatibility" section. In addition to this, everything you said had absolutely nothing to do with the question. This has nothing to do with starting or whatever it is in the same direction.
What is happening is that something is interfering with the normal functioning of the game because of changes in the kernel of the operating system because it has been updated / rewritten since the inception of Windows XP.
@SOVIETTION
The most likely solution for you has nothing to do with the videobuffer here is how fix you it:Find the Red Alert installation directory and find the file * md.ini.
In revenge for Red Alert 2/Yuri, it will be 'RA2MD. INI"(feel free to make a backup of the file before proceeding)
Open it with your favorite text editor (Notepad for most people)
Scroll down until you find the section [Video]
Just below you will add this line-
VideoBackBuffer = no
Save the file in the same place and load the game.Enjoy!
The VideoBackBuffer = none works perfectly, but in my case I also had to set the compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2.
Bravo for you!

Hello Akash,
Thanks for the reply.
As you said, after completing the scan found SFC, you get an error message indicating that there is corruption but was not repaired. Then, please follow the following suggestions to solve the problem.
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
(Refer to: manually replace the corrupted file with a good copy of the file)

Please help me
my windows xp is very slow, when startup is also very slow, that it takes 5 to 6 minutes only to windows startup. and when you open the app also very slow. I tried to clean up using reg cleaning etc. all the product (but trial ones), disk cleanup and defragmentation. I don't know what to do anymore.
Please help me
I suggest that you tell us more about your system and then do a few scans for malware and fix performance issues.
It makes no sense to try to resolve a performance problem on the system without knowing anything about it or who might have an infection on this subject.
I suggest you stop "try" things too and if you can tell us the names of the cleaner and other products that you have already tried that would be good to know (so we do not suggest that you already have).
When we have a known starting point, then begin to fix things (don't try things).
Please provide additional information on your system:
What is your system brand and model?
What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..
The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)
The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?
Fill in the blank: my system worked well until: _.
Please provide additional information on your system:
Click Start, run and enter in the box:
Msinfo32
Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here.
For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.
There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.
This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.
Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
The scans by operating clean, then to solve any problems.
Do, or do not. There is no test.
I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!

My Windows XP is so slow!
My Windows XP is very slow. Tried cleaning and defragmentation. I'm constantly getting... «waiting for java script "... or," waiting for http://"...or"Download photo".» I'm really frustrated by the slow pace. Even when I type in the information it is still far behind on the screen. Can someone suggest some concrete measures that would solve these problems. Thank you.
Have you checked you anti-virus software, I found mine can slow down processing system from time to time. Also check the amount of free space you have on your hard disk, because if it becomes weak which will affect things.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Windows XP Version 2002 Media Center Edition Service Pack 3 running very slow on Dell desktop
Very slow system Dell desktop for quite awhile. It was "suggested" that the system is corrupt and OS reinstall may be necessary. Windows 7 running very very slow after installation.
I have a server with an Intel® Server Board S5500BC I upgraded to 7 WS2K3 and installed more than 100 updates with windows update and it is still running extremely slow even though I know that the computer has the power to run 7.
Try to test the RAM to find errors.
Alternatively, you can try to disable the RAID and see what happens.
First try running Memtest86 +, which runs from a floppy disk or CD and should eliminate or
confirm whether your one or more of your sticks of memory are bad or the values of the SPD in the BIOS are correct.
Let it run for as long as you can: 2,4,6,8 or several hours, so no errors at that time then your ram is OK.
