  You can check the permissions of the file if its read-only value. You can access the link below and try to take ownership of the file you want to modify and set the permissions accordingly and check if that helps.

  iCloud is a servcie synchronization switch.

  All that is stored in your folder on the drive on your PC icloud is synchronized to your device. To be selective about your synchronization, monitor which is stored in this folder.

  My employer has provided me with an Ipad Air2 for work.  I put it to the top with my current Apple I.D. and iTunes account I have with my personal iPhone.  For simplicity and storage space, I would like to remove my existing account of the iCloud drive and create a new dedicated strictly for my iPad to work.  Is this possible without resetting everything on the iPad?

  I created a new I.D. Apple and I relaize you can use this secondary ID to access iCloud drive, what I want is a separte to iCloud drive dedicated for the iPad.

  Settings/iCloud and existing sign of your Apple ID and then connect you with new Apple ID. This should give you a different drive than associated iCloud to your identifying existing.

  You may want to check that

  1. you select no restrictions in the settings - General.

  2 your employer has no restrictions for you installation in settings > general > profiles & Device Management.

  3. you don't have any work email accounts which can put these restrictions as well.

• How can I removed the photos/videos to the iPad, but not delete icloud drive?  Need free space on the device, but can't.

  My iPad has a lot of videos/pictures on local memory.  I disappear off the coast because I see that they are in my photo database and iCloud drive.  When I try to delete them it asks it will remove them from all devices.  I just have to remove them from the iPad.  Ideas?

  You cannot delete without delete icloud, unless you turn off and away the iCloud synchronization.

  I tried with my privider of e-mail, you will need to see if it's the same thing with iCloud.com.

  1. hold your finger on the PDF thumbnail. Click on save the attachment to the iCloud icon.

  Background: I recently started using iCloud drive on my iMac with OS X El Capitan 10.11.5. I also continue to use a 3 GB CAP to automatically back up my computer using time machine.

  Discussion: I copied some files more in player iCloud (under Favorites in the Finder) folder to appear on my drive to iCloud. Obviously the synchronization service iCloud provides is great, but I want to that I am also able to backup these files on my time capsule as well for peace of mind, and it would be a nuisance if I constantly have to move files out of the iCloud drive to another location on my computer to make sure that the files are also backed up regularly on the time capsule.

  Question: Time Machine also backs up everything (all types of files - excel, pdf, word, etc.) that I added in iCloud drive folder on my computer?

  What kind of "reboot", you have?  What was this - restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support?  If you did, and it did not work, try switching iCloud drive, power switch (settings > iCloud > iCloud drive).  If this does not work, try to connect to your iCloud account and reconnect.

  My selection expires tomorrow... and I tried for awhile to load or save all dropbox to Icloud by car.  I have made sure in Icloud drive I activated dropbox, but read tips on how to do it, it does not.
