MSN HAS TAKEN OVER MY HOME PAGE. I DIDN'T ASK THEM! HOW CAN I GET RID OF THEM?
for some reason when I start and select the fire fox web browser, load with msn under the web address and homepage. I don't want this page. in fact, I want is empty for now, as it has been.
of course, I did something to make them think I want them! I don't!
How can I get rid of the page and return empty?
Fire Fox at the top left of the screen button is not the button "tool" as indicated in the info started getting. being the newbie on the block, I think I'm missing something obvious.
Thank you, j.r..
Go to options/preferences of Firefox. On the general tab, you can specify what to do when Firefox starts, including show a blank page.

Meeting space Windows took over my computer, wanting me for some experience of laboratory on Vista computers. They change all my files write of false event logs to send to Microsoft to take me off of the internet, mess with my screen and what they want because I will not help them. I read on the Microsoft Forum here that many people complained of Windows support for their computers. It sounds ridiculous, but it's true. It is very difficult to enjoy your computer when this happens. In the Microsoft privacy policy, they tell you how to cancel registered iv6 that has to do with the meeting space. They just hung. They took off my Norton Security 4 times the other night because I wouldn't get them administrator. Who's going to do this right? I don't know who is behind all this. I tried to do a re-installation of operating and they controlled that. I guess I'm stuck with them for life. People of virus cannot remove them because they are Windows! Attention to your users of Vista, they want a private network and they slide people across the firewall. I have proof of all this and friends who have been witnesses and we try to understand the best way to move on this. I just wanted everyone to know. On my home page, Firefox. I got a Favorites menu on the left side. Now he's gone. I can get my favorites of the tools but really liked bar on the screen for easy access. HW do I get it back?
Version 1.5.0.12 is a very old version of Firefox, if these instructions may not be correct. Go to view > sidebar and select Favorites. That should open the bookmarks bar.
Is there a reason why you have not updated to the latest version of Firefox? 1.5 is not updated with security patches and updates are free. See upgrading from Firefox 1

until a few days ago the entire report of my screen looked the same. I don't know what happened.
Hello
You don't say if anything fills this gap, as in IE window is simply smaller, but the Office remains behind it
If so, run your mouse cursor to the top of Internet Explorer until it turns into a double arrow > left click and hold > drag to the previous position.
If it is not the problem, there are a few things you can try:
Change the resolution of the screen;
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution
If that fixed it, go to the website of your computer manufacturer > drivers download Section > then key in your computer model number > find your operating system > find two graphics / video or from the Chipset drivers and download and install.
Then try to change the screen resolution.
Or do a system restore to before that happened.

How can I get rid of the Yahoo homepage? Changing the home page does not work.
A week or two before Yahoo started coming as my home page. No matter how many times I change back to Bing, whenever I have rise of Firefox, there is Yahoo as homepage. Does not he back on Bing and clicking ok. I'm a little frustrated by that. How can I get rid of Yahoo to come as my home page when I have asked yet for her?
Thank you for your time and your consideration.
Sincerely,
cbrsarahChange the home page when you check only in "Options > general > Startup" or is it a problem with the page that opens when you launch Firefox?
For the latter, you can check the field target in the Firefox desktop shortcut.Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:
Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Thank youHi, Firefox is able to open multiple home pages with the URL separated by a "pipe" (|), so please see - How to set the home pageand in "Home Page", make sure that in addition to the URL of your home page (the Firefox start page is Subject: House but you can have another, or the page new tab, which is on) (: newtab) he has nothing else - if that's the case, just delete it.
If it's easier, you can just click Restore default instead.
