You must click on the link below and download the firmware update file and then run it and follow the instructions.  It is usually sufficient to tell the app what printer to update and it does from there.  Takes only a few minutes.

  • Multifunction color HP LaserJet Pro 200: Scan problem tray

I'm having a problem with the scan on the all in one tray. Basically I never scan A4 paper (wireless), but once the data transmitted from the printer to the pc, I find that the PDF version on the screen is too long. I then have to manually crop the size down to A4. It might not seem that a huge problem when say you scan one or two pages, but when you have a whole pile of documents to download, cropping manually each size takes a lot of time. The scanner never used to do this, it's past numbers. I'm using the wrong settings or y at - it something wrong with the scanner itself?

Well, this should solve your problem:

Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector.

    1. Open HP Scan.
    2. Click on the gear icon.
    3. Click on the harvest.
    4. Select A4.

  • Multifunction color HP LaserJet Pro 200: color HP LaserJet MFP M276nw 200 Pro analyzes issues with the new driver (Oct 2015) and El Capitan

When I updated to the latest HP driver from the HP Support/drivers page, my MFP stopped scan from either a wireless network or directly connected setting.  It seems that if I scan the bed itself, I can scan when the print/scanning felt connected to my Mac, but the real problem is the document feeder.

I also updated all THE updates Apple, including the HP Easy Scan application.

When using the document feeder, the process initiated as it should... the first page scans, but does not appear in the HP scanning software... then 10 minutes later, the second page scan (same not result... no picture)... can I get a document could not load the error or something.  When this happens... I can't try to scan anything more until I have restart the MAC and printer.

    Hi @epbarnett70,

I got a few comments on this issue. Please download and install the HP Easy Scan application to see if it will allow you to scan from the ADF. Use the app for Easy Scan HP.

  • Multifunction color HP LaserJet Pro 200: printer HP LaserJet bleeding in the pages

Well, so a few months ago our printer started printing with strange faded color smear on the pages. Very subtle at first, but it has progressively worsened over the months, and now it covers almost the page:

    http://i655.Photobucket.com/albums/uu275/zzzz4444/HP.jpg

It is magenta on one side of the page and orange-ish on the other. I tried to manually run a Page several times cleaning, cleaning things, replacement of cartridges, replacing the transfer roller, and calibrate the color cartridges, which none shows any significant improvement. Does it also on the print side of the paper, and it seems that the toner is leaking on the transfer roller mainly (on the edges, but also on the rest of the roll).

    Any ideas/suggestions?

It seems that as faulty toner cartridges, are you using the new HP cartridges?

  • Multifunction color HP LaserJet Pro 200: I can't print to my HP printer using wifi, it was working and stopped after the electricity blackout

I got my printer to print via wifi and it was working fine but as the power went out a few seconds this morning, it will not be printed.  I even reset the wifi but does not always print.

    Well, for this issue:

    1. Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector.
    2. Turn the printer off.
    3. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.
    4. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.

Now, on the printer, click on the wireless icon that looks like a radio tower. If you see a line indicating the status: not connected, click on settings and Wireless Setup Wizard to connect the printer to your network.

    Finally:

    1. Click on start and open devices and printers.
    2. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
    3. Click on remove the instrument.
    4. Click Add printer, and follow the prompts to add a new queue for your PC.

I'm trying to update my firmware on my printer wireless.  The current Firmware Datecode is 20121026.  I have run the wireless network Test report and the summary network and it shows the printer connected and on the correct home network.  I have no problem printing, however, when I go to Check for Updates I get the following message:

    Connection error

The printer cannot connect to the service.  Check the Internet connection.

    Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

OK, you got it the second time. Not all of the SAP is unified in the layout. It is more difficult to stay on top, but you found it. Ok. Always make the mistake so. This is not good.

Looks like the printer is blocked. You have reset the network?

Turn the printer off and unplug the router for a minute. Then when the network has restored himself to try to update the firmware again.

You may need to update the firmware via a USB connection. This link will take you to the page of software and the printer driver. Software and pilot results for: HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw.

Printer: HP color Laserjet Pro 200 M251n

    Firmware: 2014-06-04, Version 20140521

    Problem:

Since the last update Firmware the printer does not sleep/wake no event (all configured to wake up the printer) will wake up the printer. Even to connect via Webinterfac the printer does not respond. Ping also fails.

Tried to connect the printer to the printer ports / wall plug changed network cables nothing worked.

The only solution is to reset the printer (power off / on) to get the printer working again.

Played a bit with the EcoSmart configuration, but little matter what is selected it its always the same as the printer stuck sleep/sleep mode and don't responde.

  • M475dw multifunction color HP Laserjet Pro 400 - 49 Service error

I get the error "49 service error" when printing any PDF from adobe acrobat reader document is DC

If I print the same document from the same network share on the same printer using the player of acrober (no), it prints very well. Go figure.

PDF is adobe.  First thing would be to update the firmware of the printer or change the PostScript driver from adobe.

  • LaserJet 400 ColorMFP M475dw: Problem of power cord for m745dw multifunction color HP LaserJet Pro 400

I'm trying to find the number of pieces of the electric cable.

My warranty expired on 6 December 2014.

    My power cable is flaky.

When I move a bit the the line cord with the output plug, my printer would turn off and turn on again.

If I move the power cord a little by the power printer connection, power remains standing.

Can anyone provide me with the part number of HP for the power cable?

    Thank you

    Yucaipa

This printer uses a standard pc power cord.  All power cord printer or standard pc with 3 connections will work fine.  I just hope that it is the power supply cord and not taking on the printer.

  • Color HP LaserJet Pro 400 M451dw - error # 49

We have the above printer. It has been working well for a long time now. It is configured with the ethernet cable.

At this time, however, when the main user of the printer turns to for use, he first gets up says 'Ready', opens with the IP address then displays "error 49" "turn." This does not seem to do anything.

I found a post that suggested by ensuring that the printer was not showing in the DHCP, and I do not see here.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. This is a printer that is much used by the primary user.

    Thank you.

49 error usually means a firmware error (which could be due to a problem of trainer), but in some cases, it may be invoked by a sending system a use of "punk" (not necessarily a conventional print job) to the device.

  • Color HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw to print alignment

Images and text color print out of alignment.

The problem started the first day that we had the impression.  It took me a while to get into this diagnosis, but I tried the following:

I tried to replace the (expensive) with new toner cartridges.  The problem is even with the original Starter cartridges.

I tried a reset of the complete printer.

I tried to let the printer disconnected from the power supply for 24 hours.

I tried several features alignment in the printer menu.

Print black only is fine.  All other colors do not align between them or with blacks.  Creates a kind of 3D - ish into effect.

The quality of printers report displays all colors fine areprinting, but not aligned with each.

I have included scans of part of a rainbow impression that illustrates the displacement as well as the quality report page.

Thanks for letting me know James_LAG.
