Multiple blackBerry Smartphones devices

Hi my wife and I have recently received new Blacberry Bold phones. Our problem is we can't all both receive emails, it put us e-mails on a device at a time. Whenever we get a message saying only that the two devices are registered on the same Blackberry ID, we can get emails to two phones that seems crazy. Does anyone know a simple way around this?

We have a problem with our older blackberries that we never had it before. We both need access to our emails but have tried everything know disp.

Help please.

Do you get the message even if you try email setup that way?

Since the device, go to blackberry.com/integrate
and see if you can adjust your email from there.

Can you sign up for an ID separated on a BlackBerry?  You try to use the same e-mail address on both devices?

  • Update blackBerry Smartphones / Device Manager issue

Hey guys, I have a problem.

I recently acquired a Blackberry 8330 and let me start by saying this: it's one of the best machines I've ever held. It is simply amazing.

I installed the Device Manager and have been using it without any problem. Then, I went and did an update wireless with my phone, the upgrade of the OS. Since I did this, however, the Manager has recently stopped recognizing my device - my computer recognizes him again, as he charges when it is plugged in and I can always access to the hard drive, but for some reason, I cannot use the Device Manager to do anything - down, States in the Device Manager there is no trendy Black Berry as shown by the 'None' exposed next to the Pin number.

What can I do? I really need to access blackberry via the Device Manager. Someone, please help > _

    Things I've tried:

-Restart the Blackberry (both by pressing the red button and pull the battery and re insert)

-Update the device to the more recent version Manager

-The latest version is uninstalled, then download and install the version provided with the blackberry (4.2)

I noticed that the CD that came with the device itself does not contain the most recent edition of the Device Manager, if that means anything. It's just weird that the Device Manager has stopped working after I upgraded. Currently, my OS is V4.5.0.175. I've recently updated both my 8310 Black Berry - same question parents. Before, I could access it via Device Manager. Now, I can't. Please help me!

Sounds like policy. If this device is on a BES and controlled at least partially from your employer, you need to talk to your employer or your employer, IT people. If it is under your full control and of your device, then there is no problem in removing a COMPUTER policy.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones device transfer old BB again 9790 wizzard

    Dear all,

Yesterday, I used the BB desktop software to transfer settings and other things from an old phone to a new device.

Now, I noticed that I don't get e-mail on one of the two accounts on the new device.

Both accounts are on the new phone and has all the emails until I put in place yesterday.

If I go into settings then mail, I have two options:

    Internet e-mail

    Behalf of the company

When I select Internet mail asked me to enter my BB ID. Something I don't have. I've never needed to do on my old BB.

I was in the host routing table and saved the aircraft and received an email to say the unit has been saved. I waited 2 hours, but still no new emails arrived. I did it by wifi and GSM

Carrier = SFR, I'm English, but please do not answer in French.

    Model = 9790

    OS = 7,0 Bundle 2254 (v7.0.0.528, platform 9.16.0.57)

There is no other apps installed otherwise than what it came out of the box.

Remvoing the battery did not help

I went to mobile.blackberry.com on the device, England selected as my country then it loads a page of connection in French

Can anyone offer advice on what I should do to get this working please?

    Thank you

    leontine

Léontine, you should now have a BlackBerryID on all BlackBerry devices, as a "unifying" all your BlackBerry device source, contact, AppWorld, Protect, etc.

On your 9790, go to Options > device > BlackBerryID to create a.

or here, from your PC: https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/createaccountstep2?i=3047013

Then, you may also need to call your mobile operator and ensure that they have implemented this new device with your BlackBerry data plan. They may need your PIN and IMEI code.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone Device Software 4.5

I discovered that RIM device software version 4.5 is available today on the BlackBerry site.  I downloaded the upgrade, he ran and I rebooted as instructed.  However, now when I run my Desktop Manager software and try to upgrade the operating system, he tells me that everything is up-to-date, even if my camera still works 4.2.2.

Has anyone else had this experience and what (if any) I can do to correct?  I have been waiting eagerly for this update for several months now and I was very happy to get actually install it... now nothing.

    Please notify.

    Thank you

    Steve

In fact, not ALLOWED to the company in the United States or other countries, has released OS 4.5 8830 yet.

RIM does not directly to the OSs, free carriers do.

The beta version is floating around the internet... here and there. I haven't looked for him since I don't need, but I know I've read some users get it and download. I will only caution against that, because you're not sure what you get.

  • The office blackBerry Smartphones/Device Manager properties

Well, first of all, have had my curve for about a month. Yet to learn... that being said, I have a problem. The night I had my Blackberry, I installed desktop manager 4.7 on my laptop and desktop. Connected my phone via USB. And immediately updates for my phone began to install, well a fatal mistake came and my phone would not work. I had to re - install the OS on my phone. I did it and everything works great. My question is on the Office Manager, in respect of assistance, properties of the device, I have an error message, "a communication error occurred during the attempt to establish a connection to the device. Please reconnect the device to open a new connection. This happens on both computers, and no matter what USB port I use. My husband has exactly the same phone, do not have the updates on his phone and all is well.

I have the BB Curve 8330 (Verizon)

    Desktop Manager version: 4.7.0.32

    Software phone is 4.5.0.77

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for your help, what has worked.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Device Encryption never complete (padlock icon when it is locked)

    Hello

I recently added a password and on Device Encryption on my new (3G) curve 9300. Now I get a padlock just under system date and battery indicator when the phone is locked.

My problem is that the padlock icon is always open, never closed. BlackBerry documentation, I understand that this icon is open until the device has finished encrypting all the files in memory, and then a padlock closed when finished.

My phone is new I have very little in the way of media or additional applications to this topic so I'm expecting to be quite fast, the encryption process. I went on the encryption, there are now almost a week, but my lock is always open on the phone. I tried various passwords, different settings on the screen of encryption options, etc. battery pull but the lock remains open. My phone is actually encrypted?

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I solved the problem by choosing a password that is shorter and more simple, i.e. digital all or all letters seems to work. You must disable encryption so that the phone will allow you to change the password and the turn it back on once you have finished.

My guess is that encrypt the content in the background with a password alphanumeric mixed dark was taking too long & does not complete until the phone has been reduced from the mode standby or turned off at the end of the day. Maybe he would finally completed but who knows? Now complete encryption in less than a minute after I lock the phone & the lock closes the on-screen.

Official support of BlackBerry Twitter weren't much help. They suggested that encryption works only when it is connected to BES & BIS as I am. Obviously isn't true since my crypt phone now on BIS as it should.

I hope this has helped & you get guy TI sort!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones device address book phone contacts not showing on incoming calls on new 8900

    Hello

I just got a 8900 last week which has the latest version of the software on it (V.6.1.114). I transferred some of my old numbers to my SIM card from my camera, but not all - I also entered another 100 or manually directly on the device (long story).

Now, when I get a call from a number on the SIM card, the call will display the name of the person. However, when I receive a call from a number not in the sim card but is stored memory of the native device, the call does not display the name of the person - instead, it displays the number as if it were an unknown number. However, once the call is completed, call logs show the name of the person.

Thus, the BBERRY is not the number in the device address book when calls are coming in - it refers only to the SIM card. How can I fix it so that the contacts on the memory of the device also upward when the phone rings? Everyone knows about this problem?

I called Tmobile tech support in the United States and they couldn't help me except to say that it was a bug and suggest to put my name on the map or by doing a hard reset...

    Thank you
    Beverly

I found the answer in this old thread, but a configuration options default content SECURITY. Once I put no address names started showing up!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones device recognizes the appellants entrants/texters

Often, my Blackberry recognizes not the numbers of people calling or texting me - even if their coordinates are stored in the address book on the device.  Maybe it's to do with the format in which I saved on my device numbers - for example, some are saved as "+ 4477XXXXX", some as "077XXXXX...". "but my old Nokia phone has managed to cope with this!

Can I do to make sure that all the numbers are recognized?

    Thank you

    Yes, not knowing your County?

Enter the numbers in address book (in the USA) or 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX or leaderless 1 (I have a few in both formats, so I know it works both ways).

For a foreign country enter only the code of the County with no. +.

Your main Inbox will collect e-mail from all e-mail accounts, by design

You can delete the BES mail in the main file to its own folder separated by a change on the BES.
