• Show/hide multiple Button controls increment/decrement is AWOL

  As far as I can see (LV 2013), there is a missing feature in LabVIEW, whereby, when you select multiple digital controls, you can't show/hide their increment/decrement buttons:

  

  Here, I have 3 DBL, 1 I32 and 1 enum, but that goes for any combination of numeric values. If I right click on one of the selected controls, I have access to only two points in the title of the "visible Points":

  -Label

  -Legend

  Where is ' Increment/decrement' part, whereas it is common to all these controls?

  BUG? I couldn't find it mentioned elsewhere, but I would not be surprised to be the first to have noticed.

  
  

• Internet Explorer 8 and cannot run the AXIS ActiveX camera controls in streaming videos

  While I can't verify this with certainty, it seems that since I upgraded to IE 8, I can run no longer videos using the camera AXIS ActiveX controls.  I get the error: "The AXIS ActiveX Camera Control, which allows to display live image streams in Microsoft Internet Explorer, can not be saved on your computer."  I checked under Tools-> Internet Options-> click the Security tab and then activated or has requested to be invited to everything related to the ActiveX and it does not clear the problem.  Oh and I'm running on XP.

  According to the PrecisionHDMC camera Guide, page 17, the camera cables that usually come with codecs can be 5, 6.5, or up to 20 meters.  Anything more than 5 meters requires the camera powered by the power of the camera and not the codec using the camera control cable itself.

  I have a few installs custom where the camera control cable is well up to 75-100 feet.  Just follow the outputs pins on the same page as above to make your own cable and don't forget to use the POWER-CAM-V = power supply to power the device.

• Advice on the CPU by using multiple cameras

  Hey everybody,

  So I have a pretty intense project which has a sequence of multiple camera with 20 cameras all at 1080 p.  I know that my computer is decent, (chart below) but he has trouble with all these running at once, even if I change the quality of reading to 1/8.  It blocks even sometimes.  The file looks like this - attached.  The only other program I have running is Safari, with only two legs, I couldn't turn it off.

  I ask for suggestions to improve cpu performance or maybe something in the first that I could check that would help.  I don't mind watching low resolution, as long as I can see a bit of a decent picture.  Or maybe something completely different - as perhaps I could separate the sequences with cameras less and then collect them later?  I do not know.  I'm just trying to get the options in question.

  This computer is average to low power for the task that you describe. Think only about 8 core + HT at 4.4 GHz, 32 GB of memory and a GTX 970 as minimum requirements. SSD only and at least an m2 NVMe drive for the media.

• scale, source video position, then sequence multiple camera for picture-in-picture problem

  I have 7 source for several cameras cameras and everything works very well in multiple camera monitor.

  Now I want to Picture in Picture (video in video) and take the same video tracks 7, apply motion effect, scale, opacity of mask and place overtop of the multiple cameras and reach the image in the image.

  My picture in the video tracks 7 photo overtop of the multi-cam edit turn into 12 tracks video - cameras of 7 source, any other scale, different motion effect, different opacity mask. Things get confusing with the number of video tracks that I turn on and off to what image in the image that I want displayed.

  I decide to multi-camera video track 12 "picture in picture" by creating its own sequence and nesting in multicamera edit.

  First problem is that my multiple camera monitor gives me tiny thumbnails, because that's what I created, he is picture in picture - and I'm looking for a way to create larger thumbnails - so I nest the 1920 x 1080 in a sequence of 460 x 370 and gives me the biggest thumnails in the monitor of multiple camera which I'm looking for.

  So, I have 2-4 cameras and an audio file. I do a sequence of multiple camera using the audio synchronization option. It works fine if I have video files, but the second that I include a few Gopro videos it no longer works. What it does is, syncs all the video files to audio very well, but when I drag the sequence in the timeline he puts all the video and audio on this is on the right track. When she does I can not use the multiple camera view in the program monitor.

  OK so I had to delete and re-import all files, then redo the multi-cam sequence. Also, I discovered that once you drop on the sequence on the timeline you can't file another sequence on the same timeline or it explodes the video and sound in its own securities.

  Conclusion...

  Upgrade to the 2015.0.1 and then start over again. Also don't drop a single sequence multi-cam on the timeline you can't string together them.

  I don't have the option to sync audio to multiple cameras in CS6 for Mac.  Should you get CC to get this feature?

  Yes, this is a new feature introduced in first Pro CC. To sync audio in CS6, you can use PluralEyes (also works in CC).

  This is my first post. I tried to import multiple Camera RAW files in After Effects, but before loading each image in the After Effects project requires you to click through to the Camera Raw adjustment window for each image.

  Yes, that is how it is supposed to work. AE has no way to know that you want to apply the same settings to each image, because it would make the image raw whole import capacity loss of functionality. AE assumes you want to import raw images because you want to change the world. I guess, too. A classic DSLR image is 3Kx4K pixels these days, 12 million pixels. 1080 Full HD is considered only about 2 million. You are overresolving the format of your production by a factor of 6. You will start to feel that you apply filters and moves. I only use ground full of raw images in the scenes where I know I need the magnification. Otherwise, I'm downconverting to jpg or tiff images that are, for example, 1500 x 2000 pixels for regular sequences.

  To make precise camera moves, on the set, I put the camera on a Dolly, move the carriage and change the way the camera points.   The 'selection' icon related selected or not? You can find on the top right of your timeline. Toggling it allows you to drop a nested sequence (eg. multicam) on a timeline as either a single nested element or view developed with all clips showing that, looks like you're talking about.
