Multivibrator CD4047BC

Hello!

I am new to Multism. I should add in my circuit a multivibrator CD4047BC, but I can't not find that I have the latest update. Anyone can guide me a bit?

Thank you!

The 4047 isn't in the database, but there is a virtual monstable you can try.  It is located in the mixed group under the mixed Virtaul family.

  • Problem of Simulation multivibrator

    Hello

I'm trying to simulate a simple multivibrator which I intend to use it to generate a square wave. I use this circuit:

I think that there is no problem with this circuit. Almost everywhere, I found this structure.

In virtually, the tour starts to work because of differences in the elements. Circuit was symmetrical, he started working in the simulation. To work around this problem, I tried to:

    * Initailze one of the capacitor

Change of values of transistors Bf

    * Take one of them as 2N2222A and other BC107

    * Connect a picewise voltage source linear to transmit a transistor turned out (such as the creation of a) of pulse

    But none of them worked.

Some of them seems to be working. But the output signal is very different from the square wave.  (Similar to a square wave noise )

How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you very much

Try this in Multisim 10. Your collector resistances are far too high in the resistance. You must also select 'Set zero' for the initial conditions and integration "Gear" in the options analysis. You can add your own PB and LED.

  • Why is my oscillogram of a simulated multivibrator wrong?

    It there!

I'm trying to simulate a multivibrator using NAND-element, a capacity and resistance. The waveform of the signal caught in the blink of an eye between resistance and capacity is correct, than those between the two NANDs and resistance, but also between second nand and the ability are more discreet.

What I am doing wrong? Something as simple as a multivibrator should be easily possible to simulate.

    Dear johannes,

Channel B and D are showing the out put the tensions of the first and second door NAND output voltages. These are output TTL voltages standard they will be 0 or 5 volts (different levels). If they output voltage like channel c where do you take the astable vibrator multi out put? mode itself astable multivibrator is a square wave generator, don't it?

Maybe you are confused with the currents and voltages. The current waveforms at these points show the exponential load currents. To see current forms wave connect the probe current as indicated in the attachment.

  • Waveshaping circuit using a 555 timer

I tried to reproduce this circuit much longer. I am trying to use a timer 555 as an Astable multivibrator with a suddenly IC monostable circuit.  However, when I create the circuit and use different combinations of RC I actually get a correct output of the timer, but it does not cause the one-shot get active then and I can immediately connect a clock of multisim that turned the circuit works very well.  Can someone please take a look on the circuit, I have designed and see where I was wrong? Refer to the multisim file attached.

    Ohm's law,

Sorry for the delay on this point - we have been busy in the ISF group.

Your tour was very close!   I think that by not only not the CLR and a cable entries, your circuit had problems.   Probably the pins of the CLR was defaulting to a low logic (requiring so low Q and Q ~ high) as indicated in the data sheet.

Here is the circuit has been corrected (note I increased the capacitor to give lasting impulse on Q / Q ~ because the pulse of the 555 timer period was approximately 250 ms).

In dealing with digital circuits, it is often convenient connect digital inputs to an interactive SPDT switch and VCC (or any level of CMOS circuit is in) and ground as I did here.   This gives you the ability to interactively control parts of the interactive test circuit...
