  1. the photoshop files must always be RGB and CMYK never.

  2. sometimes when importing Photoshop files, the menu to choose the layers is off the screen. You know this if when importing and the first seems to freeze on import, press enter and you might get the photoshop file, but with all the merged layers. To choose the layers, reduce the size of the first screen when it is open before you import Photoshop, then try to import the photoshop file and you should see the submenu for choosing diapers. This may or may not be your problem, but it is one from time to time, I found.

  I am under PhotoShop CS5 and After Effects CS5 on Windows 64-bit machine. I want to import a layered PhotoShop file and keep the layers so I can animate the separated elements. Sometimes, everything works fine and I get the PS icon waited in the timeline panel for each layer. But sometimes, everything done exactly the same thing, I get a funny icon on the left (RGB?) and the bounding box of each layer is the size of the model with the anchor point in the middle of the model. The layers are not cut to the limits of the content. The color of the chronology for each layer is green instead of blue. What is going on?

  File > import file... Import kind > composition - keep the sizes of layer.

  

  The problem is caused by importing a Photoshop file with the sequence checked Photoshop laminate, then click on import in the form of composition. I made a short video to show the difference when you import the same file with two different settings. The problem you will have, is that the images won't be long 2 images.

  It is however a work around this problem if you are engaged in the project loan. First solution, re - import the same PSD file with the correct settings, and then replace the image in each layer. Second, select all layers, then go to layer > time and apply time remapping for each layer, then spread the layer.

  I imported a layered Photoshop file into After Effects as a model in layers with several layers of "footage".psd:

  

  I have created and edited the comps in the 20 main comp with animations and effects. Now, I need to extend the .psd layers (all 7 s ~) to the length of the main comp(20s).

  I tried dragging to extend their regions and right click > time > enable time Remapping(this allows me to extend the region with keyframes, but the content still ends proportionally short of the containing comp duration).

  When I right click on the layer of .psd and click on 'Open Source layer', the preview displays the duration of the layer extending at once as it shows in the timeline(~7s)...

  

  but green "render bar" only goes to 5s. And no content is visible while the playhead is at 6s, below...

  

  This is also when I drag the playhead in the timeline main comp - layers with this problem disappear to 5s, even if their areas extend to 7s.

  1. I need to get these parts of layer to increase the length of my 20 years comp.

  2 it seems that the source of the layer is 5 s when I "Open Source layer", then even if the region is currently being extended to 7 s ~, 'content' only goes to 5s.

  How can I extend it to 20 seconds without doing all my images keys/animations/effects all over again?

  Or is there a way to re - import only the layers to lasting longer, but keep all my keys/animations/effects images.

• Muse incorrectly reports that my photoshop file was saved without compatibility turned on.  Muse do not place the file.

  In the photoshop preferences, I have defined maximum compatibility "always."  Muse won't matter, "place" my folder.  I changed my preferences to "ask" re "saving as" with max compatibility so that I could always check the max compatibility has been verified during registration.  Muse will not import the photoshop file.  Is this a bug?  Is there a solution?

• Adobe photoshop button malfunction muse

  I created five photoshop buttons that go on each page at synaxis.businesscatalyst.com that worked perfectly until I recently published the site and now the buttons, which I did not any changes, do not work properly.   OK I found the preference you have to change... its in PS / change / preferenvces / file handling / maximize PSD and PSB file compatibility. Select either ask or always and your PSD in Muse imports will work: good luck!

  With the help of Muse, I did photoshop buttons in the past and they shot very well, but it will not work.

  My approach:

  Normal state of my button is black and scroll it on the State is white. So why do I get this weird pixelation? I did black icons in illustrator and then brought into photoshop. I am duplicating my black icons, then the tool using magic wand or color range selection I am highlighting the black icon and their white paint. So, I have two layers, one white and one black. I save, go to muse, and then click import Photoshop button. I attribute the normal layer as my black icon and the scroll on my white icon. Then I click OK and adjust the icon in the muse.

  What's my bad process? Help, please

  For the curious, this time, after that I did my button in illustrator, I exported a PNG. What I had to do was to locate the PNG file in my Finder, right click and "open in photoshop." Once in photoshop, I duplicated the layer, used the magic wand to select the black icon, he painted in white and then saved my project with a layer of white and black.

• MUSE is NOT intuitive!

  I'm new to MUSE (I'm a web developer by profession of 34 years of coding experience).  I am NOT new to Adobe products, I use Photoshop and first on a regular (almost daily).

  So my first 'basic' attempt using Muse (after going through the tutorials and online help) had to enter text on one of my pages.  Pretty simple right?  One would think that this should be the easiest thing to do with any product design.

  I click on the T (same process as I would in Photoshop or Premiere) and click on a region in my page and start typing... what to do?  NO text... I get some "Anchor" box and provide a name for this?   Say what?  Where is my simple text?

  Then I hit to help system (which, for some weird reason, I have to connect again even if was already switched over my CC cloud application that works 24/7 on my desk), 30 minutes later, I'm closer to my goal than when I started.  That aid system is certainly NOT useful.

  So fortunately, my wife comes to the rescue, she uses InDesign before which is what Muse is apparently based on?  She is using the text tool, click and maintains and drag a bounding box, then click the bounding box to type in the text.

  My first thought, how ON EARTH is that intuitive?  I don't know how I intend to text type then why should I first define an area before you begin to type my text (Muse should do this automatically and intelligently to me)?  Once I'm done typing my text, I will have extra work of sizing this bounding box back to adapt to my text?  Why would I ever want to have these additional steps?  Humans don't work that way, programmers of Devil don't work this way (I'm a)... maybe them think Adobe all users come from a non-intuitive process of InDesign?  That still does not justify making intuitive NOT Muse... Why replicate a non-intuitive process?

  If I understand you correctly, you want to click with the text, tool to produce 'the text point' as is commonly used for securities and securities in desktop publishing. With the help of the method 'text area' to press and slide on a block of text to just a few words seems not intuitive for you. I think I agree.   I am trying to create a photoshop button that is not rectangular. This is what im trying to create, where when you scroll every other circle the second State shows.

  How can I do this? I tried using a button in Photoshop, but they must be rectangular and circles which blocks other buttons. Is there some kind of way to consolidate a PS button with a text Muse button? Otherwise it would be an INCREDIBLE NOVELTY to have! I meet this problem many times and he would do much better Muse.

  

  You can use the status button where the image can be used with text within the same frame.
