Music CD jumps

I copied a cd of music on iTunes, then copied to a USB 3.0 flash drive.

During playback, proceed a few songs.

I checked the cd and it's good. Any idea of what is the cause?

In my research, the cleaning cd player is suggested... don't know what to use on the Superdrive.

In addition, it was mentioned to slow cd burning speed (2 x - 4 x). Don't know how to do no more.

I have a MacBook Air and superdrive USB from Apple to play the CD.

The CD to jump or reading of the copied files?

Burning speed only affects things when you make a CD, not to tear it.

Check the CD for problems such as scratches or dust.

iTunes has a characteristic error correction, see iTunes > Preferences > advanced.  The free utility ripping XLD has advanced enough verification errors and reports.  X Lossless Decoder: Decoder audio Lossless for Mac OS X - http://tmkk.pv.land.to/xld/index_e.html - directions for use: to change most of the settings you must go through the preferences.

  • Has anyone found a fix for Airport Express music jump Apple?

I searched for weeks for a solution to my intermittent gaps in music, aka jump. It's so frustrating. I really don't want to have to go to a wired solution. It will take too long and a cable unattractive in my rooms.

I use the Bright House Networks 5 ghz Arris DG1670 router/modem that my provider rents for me.

The router is less than 30 feet of my Airport express

The airport express is on the ground, hooked by fiber TosLink Cable to my Focusrite Safire Pro 24.

    • Thinking that this could be a problem I have since turned sideways to try it as a cure for that surface in contact with the ground is less. The next step, I'll try is put on something instead of on the floor. But given the proximity is is not much of a problem anyway.

    I tried:

    • change the channel on my router from 11 to 40 to 47 to the automobile. They all jump.
    • I tried the 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz for connections.
    • Streaming of my Macbook Pro, streaming from my iPad 2 Air
    • Change the setting of joint A/N to N only (since the Express a N)
    • Activation and deactivation of WMM in the router configuration.
    • Pass bandwidth of 20/40 to 20 only and then back again to 20/40.
    • Change the interval of tag to 500 ms 100. (This allows supposedly with the flow and the battery life).

All jumps. But after change the channel to a 44 superior to WMM and putting the Express with nothing around him to block the antenna inside, he seems to ignore a little less. It is likely that there are too many networks in my home nearby that are fighting in the spectra of bandwidth, but I hope someone may be able to offer something else.

I suggest anyone with the same problems to try some of the "fixes" I tried above reading.

    Thank you.

It may just be possible that you have a bad AirPort Express...

I'm assuming that you have a 2nd generation 802.11n AirPort Express AND that you have configured to join the wireless network provided by your gateway Arris... correct?

The router is less than 30 feet of my Airport express

As you probably already know the AirPlay flow is from your MacBook Pro or iPad 2 Air to the Arris first, then, the Express. In theory, you should get the best streaming when all these devices are co-located. As you can imagine, if you take a camera from another room or floor, the stream will pass through a number of walls, floors, ceilings, etc., which will affect the overall available bandwidth.

    • Change the setting of joint A/N to N only (since the Express a N)

Not quite correct. The Express supports modes radio 802.11a/b/g/n. 802. 11A only works on band 5 GHz. 802. 11 b or g only works on the 2.4 GHz band, and 802.11n can operate on either.

    • Activation and deactivation of WMM in the router configuration.

AirPort base stations do not QoS support for this parameter shouldn't have any effect.

    • Pass bandwidth of 20/40 to 20 only and then back again to 20/40.

This setting is usually only on the 2.4 GHz radio. All AirPort base stations do support 20 MHz channels across this tape. I suggest you leave this set to "20 option."

and put the Express with nothing around him to block the antenna inside, he seems to ignore a little less.

Most likely, it was the most effective solution. All wireless routers must be placed so that they are in a (possible) clear space for their antennas to be clear... especially of metal objects.

It is likely that there are too many networks in my residence nearby which are fighting in the spectra of bandwidth...

It is unfortunately a real problem... and maybe deserves to be studied more, if only to verify that it can be a cause. In an intense environment of Wi - Fi, most people will try to get the "best" of the performance of their network. This could mean, they have implemented their wireless routers to produce a network that can interfere with others without thinking.

At best, you can try to change the channels that you already find one located on a less used channel... but without duplication of canals, including on the 2.4 GHz band are very limited. (1, 6 or 11 to the United States).

  • Have questions about my Satellite A660

Please bare with me, I only am not computer savvy even the least of the world.

My laptop Toshiba Satellite A665 is fairly recent, but from the first day I took out of the box when I move the laptop around, even slightly it "don't know", its really noticeable only when your playing videos or listen to music, because the music will jump. When I got the laptop each time that is would it give me a message that was something in the sense of ' movement has been detected something or something has been moved to a safe position "of course, I forgot the exact message, but it could happen if often later, I checked it to no longer appear whenever it happened." I assumed it was normal or something for this laptop brand since it was my first Toshiba but my laptop has locked up twice now. Screen freeze and crash all by that irritating jump sound and I would have vigorously to stop him. Both times, what happened was when I was doing more things demand a lot of work on the computer as a performer of music, a writing program, chat software, and a browser with a bunch of tabs open. So my question is - is this normal for laptops Toshiba especially right out of the box?

He had been getting worse lately that I don't have even if it now to get almost constant jumps, its still not very sensitive and I'm not lock still but listening to music is unbearable because of that now.

I swear to you that I have the worst luck with laptops! Hard drive of my laptop first died a few months after I got it, but it was used and had been handed down for my father, after getting a better. My second fan laptop broke a few months after I got it and she had to be sent to be fixed, she only lasted me a little more than two years and then its backlight for the screen came out and I decided to screw it and get a new one. Now, I have this laptop and he apparently has a problem on the first day. So frustrating...

Please tell me there is an easy solution, I think that its still under warranty but I really don't want to have to send an another laptop back to fix...

    Hello

    > Please tell me that there is an easy solution
Yes, there is an easy solution, but first I have to say to the question that you have described is not a bug, it s a feature!

The program is causing it's Toshiba HDD protection. This means that if the laptop must be moved, the HARD drive head will move up to a safe location to reduce the disk from damage.

As far as I know there are 3 different levels for this protection, you should try a lower level which allows more movement.

  • Re: Satellite started to freeze - in safe mode, everything is ok

I was meet a lot of problems and I think it's vista, that's why I'm posting here.

Well, I had recovered my laptop for "out of the box" staged when my laptop could not detect any connection internet, everything began to work properly. Soon, my laptop started to freeze, and I thought that maybe because it was getting too hot.

I decided to put my laptop closer to my fan and an angle to cool. Things went better that and so I thought everything was fixed.

I now have a different problem.
Just when I thought that the reason for freezing was overheated, it is happening again.
I have my internet explore and itunes radio turned on and then my music starts jumping and stuttering and the mouse and all the rest is frozen.

I'm not sure it's the same as when my laptop was getting hot because I had not put on then music.

I know it's a little confusing and I have not provided many details but I would appreciate if I can get some advice.

I intend to retrieve my laptop again within the next two weeks when I get home.

    Thank you

It looks a bit like a hardware problem.
But first of all that I would like to know which laptop model you have?

  • hesitation in reading

Recently, my Media Player (Vista o/s, version 11.0.6002.18311) started a break very briefly on each audio track played, at a point that is still 20 seconds from the end of the runway. The disturbance lasts about 1 second, with a couple of "false starts" and then the track plays correctly all the way. Very annoying.

    Any ideas?

  • Each song st-st-stutters when played in Media Player

In the last days, all the songs played in Media Player (11) has been stuttering for a few secondsexactly 20 seconds before the end of the song and there a few seconds of pause between tracks where before it would run smoothly between tracks. It is not some stuff in my library, it happens to titles played via the internet, so, although the songs played on a CD through Media Player are not affected.

I checked the driver and codec updates, I ran a cleaner registry (recommended somewhere on this site) and I drove back two points, all without success to restore. The last restore point was on a date prior to the boot problem. I spent several hours trying to resolve this irritating glitch today and my head is striking.

Of course, the only thing I could not do is to uninstall and reinstall Media Player because the system won't let me!

  • Music jumps randomly, songs start 20 seconds

    Hey,.

Since I have updated to iOS 10, I have a few problems with the musical application during playback of songs (via USB, Bluetooth and phone itself):

1 songs begin to 20 seconds by jumping at the rail AND when put an end to the previous track.

    2. sometimes half way through a song it will jump to the next

    3. If I get a song on the list it stars 17-21 seconds in about 80% of the time

    4. If I put power switch time in iTunes they are ignored (ending a song at the beginning or start a song after the intro)

These problems occur on my iPhone 6 after updating to iOS 10 and my iPhone 7

I have the same problem. I did the following steps to try to fix it, nothing helps:

    1. check that the power of the song times were not specified manually

2 remove all the songs on my iPhone 7 and then resynced with my iTunes library

3 deleted all the songs in the library of my iPhone and then re-imported to rebuild the library and after complete deleted all the songs on my iPhone 7 and resynced with my newly rebuilt iTunes library.

The songs play without any problems on my laptop computer in iTunes; the problem only occurs when you play on my iPhone 6 (standard, 128 GB) or 7 (standard, 256 GB) iPhone. I have not updated all other devices yet iOS 10 because of this problem.  There seems not to be a bug in iOS 10 - on each device, the time where the songs go to the next message match whenever the song is played; However, this time is different for the same song on my iPhone 6 vs 7. If there was a problem with my songs, time to jump would be compatible with devices.

  • Someone else has Apple Airplay jumping and drop outs when streaming music?  WiFi is not the problem, and there is nothing around the units of airtime to interference.  Impossible to listen to music.  Thanks for any advice.

I've recently updated several broadcasts in my house from V1 to V2 in the hope of resolving a constant jumping and abandonment problem I always had when playing music with Airplay.  I have a unit of airtime plugged directly on my stereo receiver that feeds music throughout my house.  My WiFi connection is not the problem and there is nothing to cause interference.  Airplay modules are not more than 15 feet distance modem or range Extenders.  Someone else has this problem and, hopefully, a solution?   I'm tired of doing factory reset all the time.  Many thanks for any advice.

I've recently updated several broadcasts in my house from V1 to V2 in the hope of resolving a constant jumping and abandonment problem I always had when playing music with Airplay.

By "Airplays" what are you actually refers to... Base station airPort Express, Apple TV, or something else?

... and "V1 to V2" do you mean you replaced a 1st generation 802.11n AirPort Express with a 2nd generation?

Airplay modules are not more than 15 feet distance modem or range Extenders.

When steaming audio with AirPlay, the flow goes first to the device host to iTunes to the router Wi - Fi, this unit is connected to. From there, he will travel to the AirPlay "speaker". A president could be an AirPort Express, Apple TV or an AirPlay device ready another manufacturer. If you use line extensions, the flow must go through those as well... so there is potential bottlenecks between the host and the speaker. One of these could be the cause of the issue you found.
