Could not import the music downloaded from iTunes for Windows Movie Maker.  He plays in Windows Live Movie Maker and plays on my computer.  Cannot find the codec. Tried the solution to this same question and in help.

    Hello

Some audio and video file formats are not supported in Windows Movie Maker and cannot be imported. However, if you have a video or audio file that is not taken care of, you can use a non-Microsoft video editing software to convert the file into a format supported by Windows Movie Maker, and then import the video file or an audio resulting in Windows Movie Maker. Some files also require you to install a codec before you can use the files in Windows Movie Maker.
Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. • How can I export my library of music directly from iTunes?

Is it possible to do this? Is there any software that I can download? All my music is in one file, but the name of the song and the artist are on the same line. I really don't want not to pass by the 'get info' rename the process again. Is there something I can do?

You will need to provide more details:

    • What do you mean by 'export my library of music directly from iTunes' - export for what and for what purpose?
    • "All my music is in a single file" is meaningless - your iTunes library consists of many files and folders
    • When you say "the name of the song and the artist are on the same line" do you mean that the name of the song as it appears in iTunes contains the artist name of the song, or something else?
  • Can I recover lost music from iTunes game?

My latptop with iTunes died on me.  And no, I didn't have a backup of my music outside.  But all my music in the cloud / iTunes game or just the music I have purchased from iTunes?

    Thank you!

If you have a subscription to Match active iTunes and your computer with iTunes library was connected to internet before he died, all your music must be registered in the iTunes game cloud.

  • Cancellation of Apple's music has grayed out some songs from iTunes game

    Background:

    • I use iTunes game.
    • All the songs in my library have been downloaded by me.
    • I tried Apple's music for a while and then cancelled.

    Question:

    • Some of the songs that I downloaded in my subscription of Apple's music are now gray out and unable to be played.
    • On the iPhone (and previously on my Mac) I wonder to renew my subscription to Apple's music when I try to read them.
    • It seems that iTunes thinks that these are songs from Apple's music, when they certainly are iTunes songs Match (most of the songs is not yet on Apple music).

    Attempted fixes:

    • I tried all kinds of re - authorize etc and nothing works.
    • I talked at length to Apple on the phone who now asked me to install OS X (which I'm hated to do that I don't see it being a problem of BONE).

How can I return these songs? Is this a known bug?

Okay, that was user error. The songs were incorrectly uploaded from another computer!

  • Download from itunes game problems

iTunes game is of no use to me. I have only had it hoping that it would save everything before that my hard drive has been replaced, but no luck so I didn't renew. I downloaded all the music to my mac and my iphone, however, do not renew the service, music that had certainly been downloaded on my phone (indicated by the phone with a checkmark icon) return soley on the cloud that I have to pay $25 for. Someone else has experienced this problem or know of a way around having to spend more money to get my music? (Apple keeps the history of purchases for more than 4 years, so more that 3/4 of my library cannot be simply re-uploaded. I contacted apple several times on the recovery of past history of purchase and that the only response that actually my question that I thought they could try to search for individual songs of each order number, which I had no idea that I had to keep for thousands of purchases).

If the media is always on your iPhone, see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device. Have you changed your Apple account information. I have purchases dating back to 2007.

  • Songs missing from iTunes game

I recently signed up for iTunes game, once they raised the limit to 100 k. I already had my Apple TV Gen 4 at this stage.

When I navigate to the 'My music' part the application of music, it shows only about 20% of my library in the list of songs. I tried to close the session and log in to iCloud on Apple TV, but it does not work. Is it possible to get Apple TV to update the songs available in iTunes game / iCloud music library?

Do you see the most complete music list when you use another device, like an iPhone, iPad or another Mac? If this isn't the case, then the identification process may have gotten stuck.

Assuming that the matching process has not finished - in iTunes, you can right click (or Ctrl-click, or two-finger click, depending on your pointing device) on a track or a selected group of tracks and choose "Add to itunes game" (I think that's what he said--I'm going from memory).

iTunes game has been known to sometimes get stuck on a specific track. If you can find one, you can temporarily remove it from your iTunes library and you can finish correspondents in the rest of your music. Looking for something weird (when it happened to me, it was the way that I "recorded" out of a stream by using something like Audio Hijack - it wasn't a piece of ordinary music CD or purchase). Or you can add music to iTunes game jackpots, when we fail, you can subdivide this lot in lots more small etc until reduce you it to the offending track.

That said, I had a problem the first time I used my Apple TV 4, even if my game library was great at 100%. I don't remember exactly how I solved - but I think that it was just sign out and then sign back (as you did) or restart the Apple TV, maybe both. I suggest try again, but make sure that you give the Apple TV in minutes to 'think' after disconnect you, and even once, when you log in. With a very large library, it may just take some time to complete - and if you rush this step too soon it could possibly cause problems.

  • My music disappeared from iTunes

I have all my music on my iMac, but I also have music selected in iTunes on my Macbook.  All of a sudden, the music of the Macbook disappeared and has been replaced by a reference to everything I've ever bought from iTunes.  All this will have to be downloaded on iCloud to play, there is essentially no music on my Macbook now.

If I go to the Finder and search for original music, that's all that's left in the folder, but just not appearing in iTunes.  Why is this and what happened to make my music to disappear from the interface of iTunes?

Furthermore, I don't want these other files referenced in music I've purchased previously on my Macbook at all.  I want only what I put here, so, how can I make it go away?

  • all my music disappeared from itunes

    Hello world

I'm not computer friendly so hope someone can help me. I spent hours and hours putting CD on my itunes, I updated my iphone and everything came from music, and when I got a new laptop and downloaded itunes to put everything on the phone, I signed in and only Itunes purchases were there... someone has any ideas on what happened on earth or how to retrieve all the?

    Bravo guys!

Music copied from CDs, or bought other stores, will appear in the computer's iTunes library a new step (unless you had subscribed to Match iTunes and transferred to it) - they will show if show if copy you them into it.

You can copy your library over your old computer, for example, How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support

You can also use home sharing to copy content between computers (if they are connected to the same wifi network): use home sharing to share content with other devices - Apple iTunes Support

Or from your backup to your library of downloads / and add it via file > add to library

This forum does not the letter nor did pay extra for punctuation.  Please try to write in complete sentences.

Simply connect your external drive to your computer will redirect the import of files from the CD.  You don't always have enough space on your internal drive - at least that's what seems to be the case of the incomplete information provided.

Full error messages are needed to accurately diagnose problems.

There are a number of things you can do to- temporarily - free up disk space.  The only real solution, however, is to get a bigger internal hard drive.   You can move the data to your external drive, but if it's the data that you use frequently, slower access times may annoy you.  Therefore, I do not recommend that you move your My Documents folder in its entirety on the external drive, but you can certainly do this by following the related instructions. You can also move your iTunes folder there (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1364)

    • You can run Disk Cleanup (start > run > cleanmgr > OK)
    • You can reduce the size allocated for the restoration of the system to about 1 GB (right click on desktop > properties > system restore > settings)
    • You can disable hibernation (if you don't use it) (right click on an empty spot on the desktop > properties > screen saver > power > Hibernate)
    • You can disable the indexing of the drive, which will also speed up your computer a bit (http://lifehacker.com/031440/turn-off-indexing-and-speed-up-windows-xp)
    • You can reduce the size of your Internet browser cache (depending on the browser that you use)
    • You can remove most of the $NTUninstallKBxxxxxx files $ following the directions here: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Hotfix_backup.htm (read the warnings in the gray box first)

But none of these answers you will earn really large amounts of space for very long.  The term solution time is a bigger hard drive.

In the meantime, download and run JDiskReport, that will show you graphically what files take up more space and seem to so indicate what files you must move it to your external drive.  If you want to move an application, you will need to uninstall and then reinstall it specifying your external drive as the installation location.  You can not simply move the files.

  • Windows Media Player only recognizes the song titles when they are imported from itunes, imported in the form of wav files.

Hi, I imported/ripped music in form of wav files using WMP first and imported into itunes so that I can sync w / my ipod but itunes recognized only the first words of the music info (generally the number of song, title, ect). ITunes would allow me to change the info. So I decided to import my 7 000 more songs again using itunes, in the hope of finding the songs via watched folders to WMP. Well, that was the case, but he only identified the song number and the title. Now, I have a long list of other/unknown.

I can get information in WMP via "Find album information", one song at a time, but that would take forever. I imported 318 songs to date. I use wav files to maintain the quality of the sound.  Can someone tell me an easier way?

    Hi MarkyB13,

You might have items in your library in Windows Media Player that have missing or incorrect media information.

  • Why Windows Media Player won't allow me to save the playlist that I imported from iTunes?

I have iTunes (10.5) and Windows Media Player (not sure which version). I have all my music in iTunes and WMP and I want to copy my playlists from iTunes to WMP. I exported the playlist from iTunes and saved as a M3U file. I open the M3U file in WMP and opening perfectly on the right side of WMP, but it wont let me SAVE the playlist in WMP. I tried to drag the iTunes playlist WMP playlist files and it wouldn't let me. Any suggestions?

    Hello

    (1) have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?

    (2) what exactly happens when you try to save the playlist?

    (3) you get any error message?

    (4) is the issue limited to the M3U file?

I suggest to follow the steps provided and check if it helps.

Method 1: Try to run the troubleshooting Windows Media Player settings Troubleshooter:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-settings-Troubleshooter

Method 2: If the problem persists then clear database of Windows Media Player. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.

    b. for Windows 7: click Start, run, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click on OK.

    c. Select all files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    d. restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
