• Satellite M40: USB Audio does not work properly in ACPI mode

  I just bought a laptop Satellite M40 whose purpose is to be used as a portable audio system.
  For this, the USB audio devices are an excellent solution.

  I put t know what USB audio device you use, but most of the USB audio devices cannot use the USB power. These devices have need of an external power supply of A.C and especially this external power supplies are delivered with the USB audio device.

  Also, I read on some sites that the pop occurs sometimes due to non synchronicity of the modules different buffers or / and of the use of certain applications in parallel.

  The computer ACPI PC Standard mode change is one of the many solutions and proposals
  You can check some patches from Microsoft. Check if all updates from Microsoft are installed.
  Also change the performance options in the options of the system to adjust for best performance.
  Disable Windows messenger.
  Virtual memory should be set to custom size and initial size and maximum size must has the same value (ie. 512/512)
  In the system.ini should the vcache is also the same: MinFileCache = 16384, MaxFileCache = 16384
  Disable the peripherals such as scanner, printer.

  As you can see, these issues could occur on all computers (desktop and laptop) and it s is not a problem of Toshiba. Also, contact the manufacturer for support external audio device and detailed information.

  Hi all! I use Photoshop CC on my iMac running OS 10.10.5. I have something weird is going on that...... did not occur. When I work with layers and I have an effect (drop shadow and outer glow, for example)... I want to copy this effect exactly as it is to another layer. I was able to do this for years. But now, all of a sudden, when I copy the effect (hold down the option key and do drag the effect to one layer to another), it copies... but the size increases significantly. For example, I put an outer glow on a photo (size 49). I wanted this glow even on another image. I held down option and dragged the glow on the second photo effect. All the other settings copied correctly, but the size is 204... not 49. Is something new that I don't know? Or is it a setting somehow, I screwed up? Thank you.

  If it used to work and now it back not. Try resetting all the Photoshop tools. If that does not solve your problems trying reset you the Photoshop preferences. ;

• View 5.0 unable to communicate 5.0 U1a vCenter - "the service does not work properly.

  This view instance has 4 brokers of the connection running on Windows Server 2008 R2:

  The environment has been upgraded 2 years of view 4.6 see 5.0.  When view 4.6 was used there were 2 additional 32-bit Windows connection brokers in the mix as well, but they were all disabled both in the from view 5.0 5.0 update requires Windows 64-bit. They have been disabled but NOT completely removed from the view.  As part of my troubleshooting this problem, I decided to delete these two brokers disabled connection of the system since it seemed as if they were causing errors in synchronization between brokers.

  Here are my steps, I took this day and in this order as far as I remember the:

  1.) restart vCenterServer services, including the management of VMware webservices

  2.) full restart the server vCenter

  3) Started digging through logs of connection broker to see if something stood in there - found that there was a warning message not being able to connect to https://< vcenterserver >: 443/sdk.  Found a number of articles and posts on the service account no longer works.  Verify that the service account was not locked and that he worked in logging on to the server vCenter via RDP successfully.

  4.) published at the entrance of the vCenter Server View Manager and re-entered the account password and ensure he was still able to connect successfully and that it can.

  5.) other searches on the site of VMware KB and communities find an article indicating that the time on connection brokers can be out of sync.  Double and connected on each of the brokers control the weather was everything in harmony and it is.

  6.) checked to make sure that all LDAP databases are synchronization correctly - this is where I decided to remove former brokers not used environmental and force a replication successful each of the neighbors brokers by using the repadmin utility.

  7.) after forcing replication, I went in a restarted the Mangment vCenter web services again.  -At this point, the connection between the broker and vCenter server came back, but the pool that has a removal pending task has not continued and seemed stuck.

  8.) about 5 to 10 minutes the communication error with the vCenter exploded back up again.

  Also of note, this environment is connected to a different vCenter and working well with no error or stuck tasks.

  Has worked with VMware Support on this and it appeared that the brokers were not quite in sync, even after forced synchronization, I ran previously.  Finish restarting brokers (a both of course) to make things synchronized back to the top.
