• OfficeJet Pro 8600 wants fax info when asked to print

  OfficeJet Pro 8600 prints test page ok, but do not print anything My Documents or a receipt from a purchase online.  A screen will appear with corner 'Send fax' at the top left, boxes of 'to', 'add a cover page', 'Add scan' and 'settings '.  There is no error message or the number.  Tried to remove and reinstall the printer drivers and.  Worked fine for 2 months, then started it.  It is not connected to a phone line and has never been used for faxing.  It is connected to the wireless computer network.  Tried to connect to the network with cord - also not able to print.  Any help appreciated.

• All of a sudden my HP all-in-one (j4580) only displays the FAX info on screen and will be only TELEC.

  You may need to do a reset full semi on the machine. I've included instructions to do this:

  • Unplug the power cord from the HP all-in-one device.
  • Wait 20 seconds.
  • Press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord from the HP all-in-one device.
  • Release the buttons after the HP all-in-one device to start.
  • The HP all-in-one device will now reset to the default settings.

• Conditional field to another field? [Fax info]

  I am creating a form in Adobe Acrobat Professional for the commands to use here at the office. I have 2 fields for contact information that I am trying to "connect" to the user, so that simply selecting a provider in the ZONE 1 (in a drop-down box) could fill information fax from this provider in ZONE 2. I have looked at javascript and conditional formatting, but based on the examples I read that I can't make it work quite. Does anyone have a better way to get this working?

  I want to basically - when you select a provider from the drop-down list field "Vendor1" that fills the fax number appropriate to the provider in the 'Number of Fax' field below.

  the easiest way is to set the 'Export' value for the "point", name of the seller, to the fax number of the seller. You can then define the calculation script customized to the "Fax number" filed to the value of the field "Vendor1.

  Do you receive an error message or error code?

  I suggest that you can open the fax and scan feature and then try cancel the fax that is in the Outbox.

  Follow the steps for the same thing:

  a. Click Start, type and fax and scan in the option search, then select Fax and scan.

  b. click on the Outbox, it will show all faxes pending.

  c. right click and cancel.

• HP3390 can not send fax to the HP8500, but can receive

  Only in the last days (after maybe an update of Windows XP) we are unable to send faxes to a HP8500 all-in-one. We can receive faxes since the HP8500 and can send or receive other types of fax machines without any problem. It doesn't seem to be the problem of the HP8500 it can send and receive everyone except enjoy the HP3390, although we are not nothing exclude. Once again, until a few days ago, we could send to the HP8500 without any problem. The phone lines are working, machines, etc. then we are at a loss. Also, when we get the communication error (#344), the machine keeps redialing and we cannot cancel the fax unless catch us him during recomposition. Finally, the communication on the end of HP8500 error message is #252 or #232.

  I understand that you use a HP Officejet Pro 8625 e-all-in-one printer, and you would like to know how often the printer will recompose faxes would know viewing pending composed. I would like to help with that.

  When you set printer busy redialn, or no response redialn, the printer will automatically start to dial the number of the recipient of the fax, the first transmission fails without delay. He will continue trying to send up to cancel key.

  Because once the fax is cancelled the fax number must be entered again, either manually or selected from your speed dial entries, there is no list of faxes pending.

  Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

  On the 8600 Officejet continually trying to send a fax, you can try to disable the reminder or do a power reset the printer.

  I would firstly reset the power supply. Removed the power from the back of the printer, then on. The other end is plugged into wal taken directly and connect at the end of 60 seconds. Allow the printer to the power upward and see if the fax still tries to send.

  If this is the case, try hit the X to cancel the fax, go to the configuration Menu of the printer. Go to the Fax Menu > advanced fax setup > No Answer redial > turn it off.

  The manual, in the section on the fax beginning on page 60, begins the second sentence with: "you can schedule faxes to be sent at a later date...". ».

  I was not able to find more information about this in the manual, or in dialog boxes when you choose the 8625 as my FAX printer and dialog boxes to send a fax.

  I'd be happy to use this feature via the print/fax HP driver if it is actually available and can someone tell me how to do, or, I would gladly use Windows Fax-Scan to plan faxes for transmission later if someone could tell me the network address (WFS is asking for a network fax server address) to use.

  Your printer user's guide does not say it's either lying to you or information is missing.  I don't know which is the case.

  The following is from the HP Photosmart 7520 user's Guide on the same topic (Page 28):

  Excerpt:

  Schedule a fax to send later

  You can schedule a fax black and white to send in the next 24 hours. This allows you to send a fax in black and white, later in the evening, when telephone lines are not as busy or telephone rates are lower, for example.

  The printer automatically sends your fax to the specified time.

  You can schedule only a fax to send at once. You can continue to send faxes normally, however, a fax is planned.

  NOTE: You can only send regular faxes in black and white.

  To schedule a fax from the printer control panel

  1. load your original face up to print down in the right front corner of the glass or the side to be printed in the automatic document feeder.

  2. Press Fax and then tap Settings.

  3. touch Send Fax later.

  4. Enter the time by touching the up and down arrows touch AM or PM, and then touch done.

  5. Enter the fax number using the keyboard, touch (speed dial) to select a speed, or touch (call history) dial to select a number already dialed or received.

  6. press start fax. The printer scans all of the pages and the time is displayed on the screen. The fax is sent at the scheduled time.

  I'm not sure I'm on the right table.

  I have an Acer desk top pc. Windows xp, windows 8 (I think)

  HP Officejet 6310 all-in-One

  Everything worked fine for a few years.

  2-3 days ago when I clicked on print a pop-up asked me who I wanted to fax & info

  It will not stop which means that I can't print anything.

  Whenever I click on print I get this fax are popping up.

  It can pop up to ask me how many copies, print issues.

  As it is confusing.

  What can I do to stop appearing?

• Where is the FAX option in the print menu

  Just installed a printer on a network C2665dnf.  I installed all the software on the drive and set up the fax info.  According to the user manual, I should be able to FAX from a windows application, such as MS Word, by going into the menu print and selecting the option FAX Dell.  He isn't here.  What I am doing wrong?

  When I installed it, I found myself with several listed, including a DellC2665dnf-00000 and DellC2665dnf-00000-FAX: DellC2665dnf-00000-PS.  I can see them in the print dialog in the drop-down list printer name.   This would be where to select.  Unfortunately when I go to printers and devices from Microsoft it does not list the drivers.  So I don't know where to look to see if it has been installed.

  I have a 520-1000z Touchsmart has been upgraded from the original installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit for Windows Pro 8.1 (new installation).  During the upgrade, I lost the Realtek NIC (does not appear on the Device Manager).   Wireless works perfectly.  When I try to install the latest driver Realtek (sp59442), I get the error message next - system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update.  Installation canceled.  Pilot info indicates that it is for systems that were upgraded to Windows 8.   I went to the Realtek website and downloaded their drivers.  Cannot find the device. How to obtain the NETWORK adapter appears in Device Manager?

  I tried 7 - zip myself on this file, which is how I knew where to drill down to the specific driver, so I don't know why this does not work for you.

  My last shot... Try to install the driver for chipset support for your PC W7 and driver page.

• HP Laserjet Pro M MFP-127-M128: how to clear memory of my device?

  How can I erase my all-in-one memory?  We tried to cancel a fax - does not work.  I tried turning the power off for awhile - does not work either.  There must be a way to delete it.  Thank you!
