  I don't really understand your question. The mass storage controller driver is available from the website of your computer mftr. (if you have a machine of brand OEM like HP, Dell, etc.) and is included in the card mother/chipset drivers OR you would get the driver from site of the card mother mftr. If you installed Windows 7 and that you have not installed these drivers, this is your next step.

  What type of drive you are using to install XP?

  You can use the recovery disk that came with the PC (or created from the original installation), or OEM System Builder drive with the key on the case. Disk and the key must also be to the same edition of XP (Home or Pro)
