  • My hp pavilion dv6 3010us stopped charging and will not recognize it is is plugged

I was using my laptop just as usual, plugged in and charge, when he spontaenously started running on the battery. I made sure all connections of the cord (output plug, cord box, plugged in the power cord and plug for laptop) were very good, tested on another plug and checked the cord for all internal or weak points - each five-by-five seemed obvious. The battery is discharged at a ridiculous rate (one percent per minute on saving energy with a gray screen mode) and not USB plug-ins when on battery. No amount of fiddling with it will get the battery to consider itself connected, even though I know that power is getting at least to the adapter box. as it has an indicator light. I can't run a check of the battery because he does not have to be plugged in to the AC adapter. The problem seems to be with the battery or adapter - the absurd rate with which the laptop uses power would seem to indicate that the battery, but the fact that the computer will not "plug-in" suggests that it is the adapter - but as far as I know, it's somewhere inside the laptop computer between the two. I prefer not to spend money on both, espcially if the problem is neither. Any suggestions?

  • HP Pavilion dv6-6b57sa suddenly stopped working and will not now to power on. Help, please!

OK, so I'm a new student and my laptop has just decided to stop working. I had the laptop for 2 years but I have not used until I came to College. Long story short, I wanted to use it as a working laptop and one im using now for media.

Anyway, I started the dv6 and it was fine so I jumped to get a coffee. As I got home I heard a click and then the screen was cut off and now it will not turn back. I tried the hard reset, take out the battery for 15 minutes. The battery charge indicator does not come on either. I use an original HP charger and have connected it to a plug adapter multiple with an influx of cutting on it.

No LED, no noise, no charge indicator. Can someone help me with this, extremely upset I've saved this laptop for her than to die in the first week.

Not sure, but there's less chance of it. Given that the laptop is not put under tension with other adapters. You must take it to store to get the verified motherboard.

  • I have a problem with my iPhone 6 s more battery.  When he arrives less than 30% the phone will stop and will not restart unless I connect it to the charger.  Once it reboots it shows the same battery as the entry stop percentage.

I have a problem with my iPhone 6 s more battery.  I had to 'support' from Apple telling me there is nothing wrong with the battery, I was at the store and had them test and I had two replacements and they all did the same thing, even to start the replacement up as a new phone so that there are no applications that could contribute to the problem.  I told them repeatedly it was their software problem, but they said they had never "heard of someone having this problem.  I have not updated to the latest version of the software to see if the problem still occurs and initially it didn't, but then he was back at close to 30% or less, even if there is a power adequate to continue much longer.  I've updated to the latest version because it refers to a "correction of battery problems.  Unfortunately, it makes no difference at all.  I had iPhones for many years and have always been a fan, but my next phone will be a Samsung unless Apple admit to their problem and sorting.

When you've got additional phones you restore from a backup or set up as a new device?  If the first case, then this is probably your problem.

Restore the configuration as a new device / phone and be on your way.

PS None of your fellow users on these forums really care if you get a samsung and I don't know that apple will do fine without you as a customer.

  • Satellite Pro L20: Adapter WLan has stopped working and will not allow

    Hello

I have a L20 Pro Satalite, which works very well. However, just before Christmas 2006, the adapter wireless (Atheros AR5005G) has stopped working.

Windows XP Pro SP2 can see the adapter and network connections shows as being activated, but he sees not all networks.

The Atheros Client Utility says that the adapter pases troubleshooting TI test diagnosis up to the Radio, when he says that the Radio is disabled and must be enabled in the Client utility.

'Excellent!', I thought: opening the utility forward. Looked in the Action menu to find "turn on the Radio" is greyed out!

    Help!

    Any help is very welcome.

    See you soon,.

    Barry Smith.

Is there a hardware option to enable and disable your wireless network card? (switch)
You upgrade your Wlan driver recently? (If Yes, maybe with the wrong driver?)

I had a similar problem once and resolved through driver updates... want to give it a try?

You can download the driver generic Atheros (Version 5.0.0.107) available here:

  • Satellite Pro L40 - has stopped working and will not start

Nothing happening, no spark of life, even if it is plugged to the mains. I have ALL of my info stored on it, including their e-mail addresses...

    (1) is it the battery?

    (2) it is likely that it might be corrected?

    (3) if irreparable, can data be transferred from a laptop dead to another PC or Mac Book of my partner?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and thanks I advance for any help, you can be so good as to provide...

    Hello!

Normally, if the boot of t computer doesn't and you can see anything on the screen it s a hardware malfunction, maybe the motherboard needs to be replaced.

But in your case, I'll try this:
Remove the AC adapter and the battery. Wait one hour, then reconnect the two devices. Try to start the laptop.

If it doesn't work, you need to contact a service provider for help. They can check the laptop and determine the cause of this problem.

And your data, you can easily without danger on the other computer. Just put the HARD drive in the external HARD drive enclosure. You can then connect the HARD drive to another laptop to backup data.
But normally all data should be backed up already! ;)

  • iPod classic is locked permanently and will not restart or reset.

I had my iPod Classic (160GB) for about six years. I received as a Christmas gift in 2010. For the last two days, the "lock" symbol was flicker on and out, even when the switch is moved to the off position. I went to put it on today and it wouldn't respond. I plugged my headphones and the screen lit to show me the lock symbol was done again. I tried to reset the iPod, tried to restore and toggled the switch locking on and off tension several times but nothing does. I think I just need to take it into Apple and see if they can fix it or if I need to go and resign myself to the idea that I need to invest in a new iPod. Any ideas?

Looks like you might need a new headphone jack and hold together switch. You could do it yourself or use a third party service center.

Have you solved your problem? If this is not the case, what you have tried?

Have you tried to hold the two button at home and power buttons simultaneously until the apple logo appears. That my reset some of your settings but should force it to restart.

    I hope it works!
