My 8 month old iPhone 6s has battery problems...

My 8 month old iPhone 6s began recently to close 20%, even 30% left of life battery.

The LOAD icon comes in saying that it is completely flat when I know that it is not. If I start to load, it shows that there's a lot of life left in it.

I am running the latest iOS and the time is updated automatically. My phone is defective? Anyone have any ideas? I would stay on the phone?

Try recalibrating your battery meter:

  • Charges to 100%
  • Run the battery until the phone turns off
  • If it stops above 1% charge for only one minute, and then continue running the battery down. Repeat until it makes 1% before shutting
  • Load it back to 100%

If the battery is defective, this should fix it.

You can also check the battery using the autonomy application from the app store.

    Hello

I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.2 who must break with the battery problem almost entirely.

I don't know if it's a hardware problem, but I hope that it is a software problem so I will try to do everything as my possible to isolate and software problem.

I did a reset on iOS, but it does not solve. The next step should involve a DFU reset using iTunes but it will update my iPhone to iOS 9 and as far as I know it will turn my iPhone unusable.

The other possibility is it back to iOS 6.1.3 but it won't, I must do a restore to iOS 9 which will be a problem.

Yes, is there something I can do without updating to iOS 9?

What makes you think this update to iOS 9 will make useless iPhone?

  • iPhone 6 more battery problems?

I got my iPhone 32 gb gray space 6, with for about a year 1/2 now. It worked perfectly for 1.5 years, but now there seems to be a problem. My iPhone battery life will increase from 3% (not connected) to 15% while it is plugged instantly. Then when it is removed say 15 minutes later the dough goes straight back to 2,1,4,3%. And when my phone is charged a good amount as 75% of its battery life runs out pretty quickly. About 45 minutes if you are on instagram. My family has had the same problem and its diagnosis of apple was a manufacturing error. It was just like my situation, everything's fine until the battery starts to spoil. The Apple store was going to give him a replacement, but she told them that they had purchased a new battery to put inside. That did not work for them. But the store said that they could not provide a replacement due to the fact that the iPhone had been "worked on". If I receive a replacement? I have to pay something? They could send me a replacement?

According to Apple, only Apple or Apple authorized service providers are allowed to maintain the phone, without losing any warranty or out-of-warranty service options, including the replacement of the battery or the screen.

As to your question, visit an Apple Retail Store or an authorized service provider would be the quickest way to find out if your battery needs to be replaced after 1.5 years. According to the use of the phone, it may be necessary.

But if they do not find a battery fault, you will have to pay for the new battery.

You can also contact Apple Support for that, they can also test your battery online. However, shipping and replacing the battery may take longer to make an appointment at the Apple Store.

  • My iPhone 4S has had problems with Wi - Fi and now I can't enable Wi - Fi more. Please help me solve this problem!

My iPhone 4S began no not detecting WiFi signals. I have fixed that by removing the SIM card, but after awhile it was not detected at all and kept scanning. I tried to type the details of a Wi - Fi connection in the other section, but it didn't work. He says 'Could not find wireless networks'... I restarted because after removal of SIM card, which fixed the problem and now I can not turn on Wi - Fi. I need a Wi - Fi connection so please help me!

A certified technician have a look...

But it seems to me: I have seem similar symptoms before - as the WiFi radio gave up the ghost.

I bet if you went to "Setting"-> "Général"-> "About" you won't see any address for the WiFi radio.

If so, the radio has launched the bucket and as far as I know, it is part of the motherboard - there is therefore no route to the resurrection really... It is live with it that way, or get a replacement phone. I'm sorry.

  • New on the square IPad Pro has battery problems

Just bought new IPad Pro WIFI 32 concerts for a huge slice of $800. Beyond being overall less seduced, the battery life is shockingly low. At the end of 20 minutes on a full charge and a minimum use, the battery fell to 60%. Sometimes, it will not load to 100% even after being connected to a catch of the day to the next. Apple will not replace it. Someone has a similar problem? THX!

Try a hard reset of your iPad Pro by pressing the sleep/wake and Home buttons simultaneously until your iPad Pro goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

  • iPhone 6 more battery problem

45 days ago, I bought an iPhone to my brother as a gift 6 with 120 GB of storage.

Everything went well. He used iTunes, in order to install anything for the new device, until last week, when something happened suddenness.

Every night he changes his mobile, but all by the sudden sometimes when he turned off the nm the next morning, the display will show the battery icon empty, although he left 60% charged, the nit before!

This symptom occurs half the time he turns on his iPhone 6 more last week.

Is this a hardware problem? (which seems the most obvious)

One software, or a combination of both?

This is what there return to Apple for replacement, or it can solve the problem by a solution 'House '?

    Any help will be appreciated

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

If these steps do not work, contact Apple and ask for help.

  • Sony Xperia P has battery problem after 4.1.2. Update

This morning I updated my Sony Xperia P to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The update itself was completed without problems.

But after the update used battery very fast, without being used. And it's hot.

I tried to reboot (several times) does not.

When we look at the use of the battery, it says my Exchange (build-in app email) is constantly active and is the main reason for my use of the large farm. I tried to change my sync to push manual, without significant difference.

I activated the ENDURANCE (why isn't this by default?). In doing so, it tells me I have the long lag time, but it still really drains my battery...

This afternoon I used about 50% battery in 2 hours, without the use of mobile telephony.

Finally, I forced the app Exchange stops, which effectively stopped the battery drain.

But it seems to me like incompatibility or similar between Jelly Bean and the application of the Exchange.

Anyone who has had, or has ideas for what?

    Hello

Well, I made some progress with it. The "Exchange" Service unused by my outlook e-mail reader but by the mail client by default when you access my Hotmail account. It seems to keep the phone in a continuous "awake" State which will obviously flow fast enough (tiny) battery.

The solution is to remove the Hotmail account, and then reconfigure. I also took the opportunity to try another customer, but I don't think that makes the difference. The Exchange Service must return to its normal use and you should also see the phone not being is not in the State 'awake' all the time. This is visible in the form of advanced battery via the power management menu.

    See you soon,.

As the error code relates to a short drive Self Test failure - the only real solution to this is to replace the hard drive.

As your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP to make arrangements for the replaced disk.

  • Logic board failure Mac Pro 3 months old

I have a 3 months old Mac Book Pro 15 inch 516 g upper computer in line with Apple Care that is supposed to last me years and years to come.  In the night when you're done, I usually store it with 5% battery left.  Come out a few days later, and instead to get the Apple Logo 'Need to plug into the screen', I get this:

Then I connect my Mac and everything goes back to normal.  When I saw this, I tried POOP my pants and threw up my dinner upward.

So obviously, I went back to simply Mac where I bought, showed them the video and they said probably will not Board their diagnoses are down to return until next week so forth and so.

I am extremely worried to have my new Mac being opened upwards and have parts replaced on an old computer on 96 day.  I called the Apple Support, they are not a substitute for a brand new computer.  I called a store that is two hours, they refused a request for replacement.

If at this point, I guess I'm looking at 3 options and I need the best advice.

    1. consider at my local Mac simply who I am very suspicious about.  I was in the back of their store, and it is not the cleanest.  In addition, they do not have great turn around time.  Someone has simply Mac works on a MacBook Pro before?

2 ride 2 hours, at the Apple store, make them fix I hope same day otherwise they reship (hopefully) or have pity on me and give me a new mac (what are the odds?)

    3. send it by mail?  Proving that he has problems in this way would be difficult because it takes leave the battery to 1% until it had its issues.  I have pictures and video even though evidence.  Also very wary about this option, we have expelled all new iPhone my husband 6plus and Fedex broke the entire screen and Apple refused to fix what was wrong with the microphone and then cover the repair of the screen.  After 3 hours of quite striking, they he replaced however.

I called the Apple Support, they are not a substitute for a brand new computer.  I called a store that is two hours, they refused a request for replacement.

It is the policy - you have only 14 days for return or Exchange, otherwise warranty repairs.

Take in a test of "Apple Service Diagnostics" and ask specifically for the VST (video systems Test)

  • My UN-jailbroken iPhone 6 has been hacked

Yes, Yes, I know what you mean... "there is no such thing as a malware on an UN-jailbroken device. Well well, my iPhone 6 has NEVER been jailbroken! I woke up the other night to the sound of a click on my phone. I was at the hotel and on their wifi (I don't know if that has anything to do with him). I picked it up for looked at him and someone was ordering my device and the signature in an iCloud with a strange user name. The clicks that only happened to me to hear was the sound of typing. I closed the app just as they were able to connect and before they can back up my data; But not before they stop my Sleep Cycle, my DND application, turned on my bluetooth, and who knows what else? I know that they had 15 minutes of control since the soft, Sleep Cycle, records when it is off.

Anyway, I brought my iPhone home to do a factory restore and I do not know if yes or no, to use the back upward, I created just before the restoration. I'm afraid that the malware (or any other type of hidden agenda) is always there to allow this break to happen, but I want all my data back on my iPhone! I did a little research on the Internet and everything I could find here is that it does not exist on iPhones that have not been jailbroken. It's infuriating because it JUST HAPPENED to ME! I went on other sites and found that 'Symptoms' of malware are 1. device of hot and 2. the battery drains very quickly. I recently explained these occurrences to my husband and thought that I could take my device into an Apple store to see if the battery was faulty that my iPhone is now a few years old. I see now that these events are related to a diversion from my iPhone. If anyone has any USEFUL comments, I would be very happy. Even if you have no advice please note that HAPPEN to THE NON-JAILBROKEN DEVICES! More immediately, if you have any tips on how to remove malware from a back-up, I would be very grateful!

Nobody never said that non-jailbroken devcies cannot be hacked or can't get malware.

You are connected to a Wifi encrypted, unprotected, which was used to recover data that you were of transmission and reception on your device. It had nothing to do with the device, it had to do with an unsecured Wi - Fi connection.

Your best bet is first - change your password ID Apple/iCloud. Also, change the passwords on any other protected critical items stored on your device.

Do you have a backup that was taken before you used the hotel Wifi? If you, then go to settings > general > reset > erase all content and settings and erase your device. Then set up with your tongue and your secure Wifi connection and when asked, restore your device from the iCloud backup that was made before the incident.

Once you do this, you should be good to go.

Just to make sure, once you have restored the device, go to settings > Safari > and click clear history, and data from the Web site.

    Good luck
