My Acer desktop computer does not boot, the operating system is Vista Home Edition

It says Startup Repair is checking your system for problems.  If problems are found Startup Repair will be correct automatically.  Then he will say: the Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically. Send information about this problem

And then he said access to retrieve options log in as an administrator.  I forgot the password of administrator or local user

Hello

Microsoft prohibits any aid granted for passwords forgotten here.

If you have forgotten your password, how can I connect normally to use your desktop computer?

Are you sure that this request for password is not not to do with the Acer recovery process?

You can read this information:

"Some Acer models have a default password that you use to start the process of recovery from the recovery Partition 'hidden'.

Usually press you Alt + F10 at startup to start the process of relocation and Acer default password should be 6 zeros, unless someone has changed.

If not, give Acer a phone call. »

See you soon.

  • Desktop computer does not display the computers on the network after waking from sleep.

Both computers work on Vista Home Basic. Problem started after computers, the router and a DSL modem has been turned off and unplugged. After the awakening of the day before, the Office would display only the router and the laptop, but the way that he could not establish. Initially, a reboot of the desktop computer has solved the problem.

Reset and re-installed the router. The three elements of the network were visible after the start, but IE 8 soon at the opening of the homepage. Again, after "standby" mode, only the router and the laptop displayed.

After additional restart, only the router is displayed. The laptop shows all three elements and accessing office files.

    Suggestions?
    Mike

    Hi Syed,

I did a full reset/reinstall the router, carefully following the manufacturer's instructions. Both computers are displayed in each of their respective lists of network, even after waking up from sleep mode.

    This issue is resolved.

    Thank you

  • Desktop computer does not meet the entry on PCoIP

I saw configuration for testing, and everything seems to work except when I try to connect to the virtual machines using PCoIP.  Microsoft RDP works very well, resizes the appropriate office, etc.  Trying to connect through PCoIP results in the next login page, but it will not accept any interaction through the client view.  Another strange thing is that the login page is with windows and does all of the same screen in full screen is enabled.  Here's how things are configured:

-5 workstations running on Win XP x 64 SP2 (see agent installed on each workstation)

-Desktop computers are part of a pool of manual, no persistent

    -View connection server is a Server 2003 x 32 R2 SP2 VM

-View Composer is installed in vCenter (4u1 (v)

-All virtual machines are running on top of ESX 4u1

I tried to connect with PCoIP from several different computers (Windows 7, XP) and all have the same question.  Any ideas on what could happen?

Sorry, Windows XP 64-bit is not supported at this time. The versions of operating system is listed in the available.

    Best regards

    Hello

1 how long have you been faced with this problem?
    2. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?

To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Insert the Windows XP CD in the CD-ROM or DVD - ROM drive, and then restart the computer. Select the required options to start the computer from the CD-ROM or DVD - ROM drive if you are prompted to do so.
    2. once the Welcome to Setup screen appears, press R to start the Recovery Console.
    3. If your computer is configured to dual-boot or multiple boot, select the appropriate installation of Windows XP.
    4. When you are prompted to do so, type the administrator password and press ENTER. NOTE: In Windows XP Home Edition, the administrator password is blank by default.
    5. at the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER: cd system32
    6. type the following command and press ENTER: chkdsk /r /p
    7. remove the Windows XP CD in the disc drive.
    8. Type exit to restart your computer.

Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost

  • My computer does not have the active OS all the time!

I have an Acer laptop that I bought used. When I received it, it has been completely reset. I had to add my own OS. I added Windows 7 as OS and it works for 10-30 days. If your version of Mac OS X 10.6.8 (as shown in your profile information), the latest version of iTunes (12.3.2) requires OS X 10.8.5 or later version.  If an OS X update is required if you run iTunes 12.3.  Your specific model of MacBook Pro determines the supported versions of OS X.
