My Apple ID PASSWORD fails to install OS9.2.1?

He I am connected to my new iPad, said an upgrade of the security software for os9 is necessary. When I go to 'install' from the settings section, it asks for my password, so I get my Apple ID, but it keeps the default, I know I hit it properly, why it asks for a password here? What password? I thought the apple id password for everything?

?

Try using the password of your iPad, not the Apple ID one. The Apple ID is used for the App Store, iTunes, etc..

This problem happened to me and it belongs to iCloud and I have used so important, please can someone help me?

Hello. The access code on your iPad is the code four or six numbers you will need to enter to unlock the device. It has nothing to do with the verification of your Apple ID or two-step. Are you able to unlock your phone? If you are, then please describe the steps that lead to your problem. Since you have changed your Apple ID password, you will need to go to two settings > iCloud and settings > iTunes and app store and sign out of your Apple ID, then connect back with the new PW.

  • Apple ID verification fails-cannot reset iPad

I am preparing an old iPad to sell and clear content and settings. Can not do (and cannot just reset or do anything), however, because when I get my Apple ID password verification fails.

Issue 1 - should be connected to wifi for me reset?

Question 2 - How can I connect if I'm in that right, and it is rejected? (I checked, Yes, it's the right Apple ID and password)

    Hello PatsyKB51,

Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know how to reset this iPad is important to you! From what you said, it seems that you may have had a problem because the iPad is not connected to the internet. Good news is that you have a few options to fix this. First of all, you can connect your iPad Wi - Fi and then erase content and settings again. If it does not, while the iPad is on Wi - Fi, you can delete it thanks to find my iPhone feature iCloud.com:

You can also use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iOS to factory settings software, as this process erases the information and settings on your device and install a new copy of the latest version of the iOS software.

  • 12.5.1 iTunes fails to install (new)

My Toshiba Portege running Win7 fails to install iTunes 12.5.1.  It's the same problem, I met years ago with 6464 installers, but found the installer for old video cards work perfectly.  Apparently someone at Apple decided to not (yet) offer Setup for older video cards for 12.5.1.  I spent 6 hours so far today tried a multitude of settings with installer 6464.  In the meantime I have remove all the Apple software in the prescribed sequence and restart.  I've got rights admin - so what happens?  I'm headed to 12.4.3 now so I can communicate with my new iPhone SE.

Okay - I found my own solution, but he was buried in the documents to help around to install iTunes on Windows. Apparently I can't find the version of iTunes for older video cards directly by Apple, but there was a link in the help to the 12.5.1 document version.  With the download of the iTunes64Setup (not the 6464), I was able to successfully install 12.5.1! Now, I can't wait for the next update see how much fun it will be to locate the 64 version...

  • Failed to install RoboHelp 10 MacBook

I tried to install the trial version of Adobe RoboHelp 10 on my MacBook Pro, but only a few seconds after that it starts installing, I get the message "failed to install...". Yes, RoboHelp 10 installation is for a Windows PC.  If your MacBook under Parallels Desktop with Windows 7 or above then you can certainly install RoboHelp 10.  The other option, outside installation on another PC, would be to use Boot Camp for Mac.  Basically, this turns your Mac into a Mac and PC.  Indeed, a PC Boot Camp runs better than many other portable Windows PC.  Here is a link to installation instructions: How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support.

  • Failed to install Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (case-sensitive user directory)

I have problems to install Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on my Mac (10.8.3). The installer fails with the message:

After looking in the Setup log (/ var/log/install.log), the problem is:

Note that my $HOME directory is on a separate partition from the junkyard. Otherwise, the system partition (where / applications is located) is a case insensitive as usual.

So, why can't I install the latest version of Acrobat with a case-sensitive $HOME directory? I had no such problems in installation of Acrobat 9 Pro.

Is there a way to get around this?

    Thank you.

Well, you can temporarily change the path variable during installation... Otehrwise it is correct. Adobe apps don't support case-sensitive sort volumes because - well - software engineers the Apple API for this are atrocious and unreliable.
