My Beats Audio no longer works

I have a HP Envy 15 notebook PC running Windows 7 64-bit 3040nr.

Every time when I Hibernate my laptop, I can't close the lid of the laptop, or he will report CPU overheating. When I start Windows after overheating what we call, the sound always loses and I found a solution here

http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-PC-sound-and-audio/HP-envy-15-3040nr-sound-stopped-working/TD-...

For several times it worked perfectly, but this time where I followed the same step, the noise brought back back, but the Beats Audio is lost.

When I touch the volume button on the side of the laptop, the icon has changed since the Beats Audio icon for this , which shows that the Beats Audio is disabled.

However, the Beats Audio settings in the task bar icon correctlyand works by Beats Audio settings. When I move the faders, the sound effect changes, but the small Beats Audio box never works. When I click on it, no sound change happens, and when I close the window settings and reopen it, the box clicked again shows.

It seems that the Beats Audio is installed correctly, but does not. I tried several different versions of the IDT audio driver, but all have the same problem.

Oh I found the solution to my self!

When you uninstall the sound driver and restart the computer, the system automatically installs an audio driver for you, but its driver is not compatible with Beats Audio. I need to uninstall this driver as well and reinstall my downloaded driver.

    Hey there,

I recently updated my laptop for Windows 8.1, and there has been problems galore. Beats Audio has stopped working. It seems rather, he is always on even though I don't want whatever. Using fn + B does not help, nor does the activation or turn it off via the control panel Audio Beats. Initially I couldn't even check box on the tab 'Listening experience' in the control panel. After you follow the steps in this thread - http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-PC-Sound-and-Audio/Can-t-turn-on-Beats-Audio/td-p/1201775

Now I can manage check or uncheck the option in the Panel, but it has NO EFFECT.

This turns out be extremely annoying, please help me understand this.

    Hello piezoelectron

I'm sorry it took so long, but I think I have the solution for you here. I've updated a notebook here to 8.1 and after several attempts but I have the same problem you have. To solve it, I simply used the Recovery Manager to update the HP Quick Launch software provided on the laptop. Try following the steps below to see if that solves your problem.

Step 1. The type of menu tiles "Recovery."

    Step 2. Choose Recovery Manager

Step 3. Drivers and reinstall Applications

Step 4. Choose the software of HP Quick Launch

    Step 5. Install

    Step 6. Restart your computer

Now, this did not bring the Beats Audio Control Panel for me but he doesn't turn Beats Audio on and off the listening experience which is what you're after.

I would like to once again thank you for posting on the HP Forums and hope that this solution solves your problem. Have a great weekend!

  • Beats audio does not work

I had some problems with the audio Beats from my computer. I sent it in for repairs recently and once I came back, I noticed that the Beats audio did not work. When I open Control Panel of Beats and turn on, there is no difference in the sound, either through the the computer speakers or with headphones. Same thing with fn + b, nothing seems to change.

My computer is a Sleekbook of 6-1010US feel LIKE running Windows 7.

    Hi cheatbiscuit,

There is something else you can try. You can try to restore the original driver to see if that brings back the control panel. I have included a link below that will guide you through the installation of the driver IDT high definition original.

Using Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers:

  • HP Pavilion 17-f049nd: graphic equalizer Beats Audio does not work when the multistreaming is enabled. (Realtek audio)

    Hello

While I was listening to music with my helmet on I decided that I wanted to add some bass with the control panel Audio Beats.
But using the graphic equalizer sliders not cause the change in the output.

So I've updated my driver to the latest version hoping that would solve the problem.

The problem was fixed immediately after reinstalling, but I discovered that the multi-streaming has been disabled.

As soon as I activated the multistreaming in Control Panel, I noticed the legalization was extinguished immediately.

I like both options and want to use both.

So I thought when the multistreaming is activated the graphic equalization no longer works.
Is there a solution where I can use the multistreaming and still keep the graphic equalizer?

I hope this is enough information, if needed I can provide more.

    Greetings Jeronetj3

    Hi @Jeronetj3 ,

    Thank you for your query.

I regret to inform you that you can not enable both options.  You will need to choose one or the other function that is most important.

The Beats audio panel doesn't have an option to control two different audio sources.

  • HP Pavilion m6 1090 - is: Beats Audio does not work (HP Pavilion m6 1090 - is)

I misplaced the driver CD that came with my laptop, but I did not know until I had to do a fresh install of the operating system.
I went for him still hoping I want to download the drivers on the internet and will not be a problem.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-The fundamental question is, HP did not provide drivers for Beats (IDT Audio Codec) Audio in the Windows 7 section.
-The one provided under the article Windows 8 is 6.10.6433.0.

I downloaded this and installed. It works fine until I have perform a normal shutdown of the system, every time I turn on my PC and actually reach the desktop, the system stops producing sounds later. I can hear his good Windows startup (that is before you get to the login screen) but no sound after I actually connect

To resolve this problem, I always uninstall everything related to the IDT Audio Codec and then sounds back but the subwoofer of beats beneath my laptop works. The sound is quite low without the subwoofer, so I really need to install the drivers.

I downloaded like 10 different drivers from the internet, tried all alone, but to meet the problem accurate even every time.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The exact model of the laptop is, laptop HP Pavilion m6 1090 - is.

    Please help me if possible.

    Kind regards
    Hannan.

    You are the very welcome.

    Here's what I recommend...

    Reinstall W7.

And then install SP1 of the standalone download if your original installation of W7 does not include sp1.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=5842

Install these drivers in that order, then restart the PC after each driver is installed.

    1 chipset installation utility.

    2. AMD graphics card driver (this also installs the Intel HD graphics card, so it's the only one you must install).

3 IDT Audio driver that I posted.

    4 Ethernet.

Then, you can install the rest of the drivers in any order you want.

I'm skeptical that the switchable graphics has your laptop works on W10.

Some drivers W8 will work on W8.1, but some may not.

In any case, first see if your laptop works OK even once with a new install of W7 SP1 and the correct drivers.

If so, you can experiment with W8 and more recent here.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, reboot the laptop and let windows load completely for a few minutes before checking.

    Kind regards

  • SLT A65 Audio no longer works

Hello. Since the 1.07 update, I no longer get a beep when the focus is locked. I get no audio at all. Is there a solution, as the reloading of the update? Can you help me please? Thank you, Dan.

Have you tried specifically to change your settings for autofocus? If your auto focus is set to continuous AF (AF - C), you will get no audio signals and focus lock not like you half press the shutter button. The camera will focus at all times, and this setting is ideal for subjects that are in motion.

If you set the Single-shot AF (AF - S) autofocus mode, you will get audio signals and focus lock as you half press the shutter button. This setting is ideal for stationary subjects.

If possible, try to further isolate the issue by using other lenses with the camera. In this way, we can check if the problem is with the camera body or lens you use.

It is not possible to recharge the update, because the firmware update software detects that your camera is already a current version, if you try to update again.

  • After full system recovery, wireless and audio no longer work on R61i!

    Hi all

I recently did a full system recovery on my thinkpad r61i and restarted my computer, I noticed that my wireless network no longer appears under my network connections. The only thing that appears is my local network. In addition, my sound no longer. Is it possible that somehow my wireless has been deleted during the system recovery? What should I do about restoring wireless on my computer, but also the sound? Advice would be useful! In addition, the switch wireless on my computer is on.

I solved the problem. I went on the Lenovo Web site and downloaded the Wi - Fi drivers and audio missing.
