  Or if your tab bar is so full that there is no empty space, you can:

  On your home screen to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry World from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

  After rebooting your BlackBerry browser browse www.blackberry.com/appworld to download the recent version of BlackBerry World.

  I'm really late to this topic, but had the same problem and found in a search.

  The solution works, but it is not the simplest solution, so I thought I have add my findings.

  If you go to control panel, sounds open, click the recording tab and don't see any devices listed (or it says no device installed), just do a right click somewhere in the box and choose "show disabled devices".  Your disabled devices will be visible and you can simply select the microphone and turn it back on.  Uninstall the audio driver and updates will work, but it is so much more time.

  You have basically downloaded to any folder you have your browser set to download on. If you use IE7, basically you can find where you download files just by right clicking and choosing "save link under" on any link on the web page, you are. This will bring up a dialog box that will tell you exactly where your saved files go, that should tell you where 'motogp 08' is...
