My Bookmark tabs and frequent site disappeared from the top left and right, how to recover?

For no reason that I can see on Firefox in the upper right corner, the bookmark has disappeared, and on the upper left tab, the tab Web sites visited more often. There is simply nothing. I can always go to the bottom of the page to navigate, but it is most cumbersom and loses all the advantages of a single click, I had. My computer is an intel windows Vista.

Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible.

  • Firefox menu button > Options
  • View > toolbars (press F10 to display the menu bar)
  • right click on empty toolbar space
  • If the missing elements in the palette of the toolbar, and then drag them to the window customize (view > toolbars > customize) on the toolbar
  • If you do not see an item on a toolbar in the toolbar palette and then click the button "Restore default" to restore the default toolbar set up

Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse upward to make the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.
Click the expand (in the top right Navigation bar) to exit full screen or right-click on a space empty on a toolbar and select "exit full screen" or press the F11 key.

Just to be clear, it is not on the tab bar is? (It's the new style in Firefox 4 and 5).

To show or hide the toolbars, you can use the old view menu.

If you have the orange Firefox button, press the Alt key to temporarily show the classic menu bar.

Menu view > toolbars > check the Navigation bar

If you view the navigation toolbar, but it is incomplete or damaged, you can reset your toolbars.

Menu view > toolbars > customize

In the great dialog box with the icons, to the bottom, click on restore by default.

The main module controls develop disappeared from the window to develop.  How can I get back them?  I work with Lightroom 5.3.  The missing controls are the sliders for exposure, clarity, contrast, etc.  I must have inadvertently clicked on something that made them disappear, but nothing I tried back them.  I've never had this experience over the years that I've been using Lightroom (since version 1.1).

Right-click on any other element curve tone e.g., and tick on 'Basic' if that is what you are missing.

  • Suspend and expand/collapse buttons disappeared from the top of the Windows Sidebar

I have a new Mac Mini that I loaded with Windows XP & VMware Fusion 2.0 + upgrade, all at the end of November 2008.   Until very recently, when the Windows Sidebar appeared, she was "buttons" on its top edge, grey-strip 'Suspend' (left) & enlarge/reduce (right).  These buttons have disappeared.  So, I have a workaround.  I use the Help menu in which I type "Suspend", which adds a line to 'suspend' drop-VM & allows me to suspend windows.  I also have a workaround to enlarge/reduce function.

Why have I lost these buttons?  But, more importantly, how to restore their superior, gray band edge of the Windows Sidebar?

    Thank you.

  • Why my bar menu to disappear from the top of my browser?

Every day I do a right click to add the bar menu at the top of the page (file... Edit... View... Bookmarks, etc.)

    It's very annoying.

Moreover, your information of 'More system details' show that you have a user.js file. This file is read at startup and overrides the preferences you may have saved in a previous session. While I don't think this can change your layout of the menu/toolbar, there may be something I'm not aware of. To study this issue further, read this article: How to fix preferences that will not save.

  • After clicking 'Reply', 'send' disappeared from the top bar. Where at - it go?

Impossible to reply to messages because the "send" function is missing. In addition, the top of the page is blue light without any tool or menu bars. I've seen several other messages with the same problem but have no idea how to fix them. Thank you.

I think that if you read my answer, you will see that the first sentence is:

    Open a window of writing

If you don't see the e-mail toolbar in the choice of the toolbar, you are in the Inbox window and not writing.

Try again and follow the instructions.

  • URL of the site disappears from the bar address, just says "go to a Web site.

After a window has been opened for awhile, the url is no longer displayed. The only way I can get it is to go to another site and then click the arrow to the left. The tab of the window indicates that Mozilla Firefox. This does not happen with all sites, maybe 60 percent.

This sounds like it will take some troubleshooting to figure out. The first thing to try is to start Firefox in Mode safe and see if the problem goes away. To start Safe Mode, quit Firefox, and then hold down the Option key while starting it. • Site disappeared from the Muse/Business Catalyst?

I've been running a test site for a while with the forms that many people have the address and today I was told that it is more all access to her.

Opening of the site in Muse to try to re - download, I am met with no option to replace the current site to its current BC address (agcocprs.businesscatalyst.com), all I get is the suggestion to create a new site with an 01 after the name (agcocprs01.businesscatalyst.com). There is also a warning message "the currently associated site is not available for this user. My other test sites are good and I can connect to BC, which is disconcerting.

  • on my laptop running windows 7 more information disappeared from the window - topics (file, publishing, display, etc.), address bar and navigation buttons - everything I can see tabs - how do the lack of points to display

Missing on my laptop running windows 7, all the info displayed at the top of the home page. All headings, i. e. file, change the view etc. disappeared. There is no address bar. There is no "home button", the button refresh, etc.. My wife was using the machine when it happened, so I don't know what she was doing. How to restore these features?

most of the information has disappeared from the window - topics (file, publishing, display, etc.), address bar and navigation buttons

When all the toolbars are missing, you are probably in full screen view, press F11 to toggle mode full-screen, or you can move the cursor to the top of the screen.

The real problems you describe all set thanks to an extension and customization, see 01:10 steps later...

You can make Firefox 5.0 looks not like Firefox 3.6.19, see numbered 1 to 10 points in the next topic difficulty Firefox 4.0 UI toolbar, problems (Make Firefox 5.0, or 4.0.1 resemble 3.6). If you make changes, you must be aware of what has changed and what it takes to use changed or missing features.

It is much more beyond these first 10 steps in the list, if you want to make Firefox more functional.

Toolbars and their contents have been rearranged and buttons have been merged dual-use, the net result is that I could see about 25% of what I had before and recorded about 10% of the area of the toolbar with great loss of functionality to hide things that might already be hidden and to create confusing buttons that already have keyboard shortcuts and don't need to be seen. The only good thing that has been ' Ctrl + / ' has been added to hide/show the modules bar that has not replaced the status bar.

Don't see the menu bar not (File, Edit, View, history... (Help)? Hold down the key (key in OSX) and press the following letters in this exact order: V T M
The bar of menus must now appear permanently, unless you turn it off again (view > toolbars). Turn on/off the menu bar is a new feature in version 3.6.
