  and their drivers. Check with the printer manufacturer's support, their online
  documentation and drivers and ask in their forums.

  If you need to open the PDF files, you will need to install a PDF reader.

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.

  3. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet (do not use a bar or a surge protector).

Microsoft consumer support figured this out for me.  What we have done is to uninstall internet explorer 9 and returned to internet explorer 8 and since that my printer works fine.

  Yes, you have a router, but there two (technically three) networks.  I guess that is your printer or your computer is connected to the Guest network.  Check that your PC is not on the network of comments.

• Satellite Pro L300-21F does not start and the screen remains blank

  L300-21F is aged 18 months, so out of warranty. When you press the power button, you can hear the fan and a "click" but the hard drive does not start and the screen remains blank. The power and the battery on the headlight LEDs, but the switch light does not work. I checked the power supply and it is 19.3V and substituted a good known. Removed the battery, tried with just the power cord and still nothing. Pressing ESC or F2 when you press the button power does not bring to the top of the screen of the bios or any other message.
