  I recently tried to install VM Player on my Toshiba M200. When I restarted my computer, I found that my network connections did not work. I tried to uninstall the reader of the VM, but it failed to halfway. When I press the button on the key of Windows security on the lower side right of the screen, nothing happens.

  What I can do. I have also tried to attach a USB CD drive (Philips) but can't get the laptop to boot from it. I get an error message (so I had to research readers of CD boot) saying the laptop can not find the drive. The CD comes on during startup, but only for a second.

  I'm desperate so please let me know what options I have or what I can do about it. The physical keyboard works during startup until the first Windows startup screen appears. No NumLock or such work at the time when I get to the login screen.

  Try instead these instructions:

  Follow the steps below to rub the software and then reinstall it.
  1. open %Temp% and delete all the files in this folder. There may be some files that may still be in use, and you can ignore these files.
  2 download the full feature software and drivers
  Photosmart C7250 software (Windows 7)

  3. double-click on the downloaded file to extract the files
  4. once the software install window press Cancel or Exit to close the Setup program
  5. type % temp % in the field run or search programs and files.
  6 find the starting with 7z folder (example: 7zS2356)
  7. right click on 7z file and choose copy
  8. close the window by %temp% and then right click in the middle of your desktop and choose Paste
  9 open the 7z folder
  10 open the Util folder
  11 open the CCC folder
  12 run the Uninstall_L4 and then follow the instructions on the screen to remove the software.
  13. when the software has been removed, restart your computer
  14. run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
  15 open the 7z desktop folder and run the setup.exe file to reinstall the printer.

  Yes, confirm this answer of philipp is correct for this problem, the problem is the graphics card intel hd3000 with an old driver current, the easy way is to disable hardware acceleration,... to be honest... I think that workaround and lose all the benefits of hardware acceleration.

  If the standard uninstall process is not working (as seems to be the case), then try to use the free Revo: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html that often works when the usual process does a complete job.  I know for a fact that in advanced mode, there's a special process which deals expressly with clean up the leftovers of the program register.  Personally, I use Revo to uninstall everything that I want to uninstall (more with AV products special removal tools) because almost all normal uninstall process leaves something behind (I had to remove the remains on almost each uninstall I made using Revo) and this will keep my own system.

  If you have already uninstalled to the point that it does not appear as an option in Revo, then reinstall again and then uninstall with Revo in advanced mode and this time and that should do the trick.

That would restore most of the default settings, but you keep all your settings and bookmarks, passwords, etc. You would lose your themes and extensions you installed well. What do you think?   If you mean that when you turn the computer off and then on again, the time is more correct, then your RTC battery (aka battery CMOS or BIOS battery) must be replaced.  This should be neither difficult nor expensive on a tower computer, which is what most of the PowerSpec computers are (provide your model number for more details).
