My cd player shooting guard when you try to burn a disc

Help! I'm stupid or what? Windows Vista on a machine fairly new Dell. Model Studio Hybrid 140G. 64-bit operating system. I did the Fix - it store and it comes out fixed in the necessary areas. Now what?

Hi Parisrae,

You did it changes on your computer before this problem?

You can remove and reinstall the CD/DVD drivers & check if the problem persists.

a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

b. click System and Maintenance and then click System,

c. in the Hardware tab, click Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

d. in Device Manager, expand CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, right click on the device CD and DVD and then click on uninstall.

Note: When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.

e. restart the computer. After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

For more information, please visit this link: your CD-ROM drive or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

Hope the helps of information.

    Hi doodle75,

You try to add data to a multisession CD - R or CD - RW in Windows Media Player 11?

If you attempt this task, this problem occurs because Windows Media Player 11 does not support multisession recording. You receive this message if the CD you are trying to record already contains data.

To resolve this problem, save the data to a new CD - R or CD - RW.

You can use your favorite search engine & download any third-party file converter to convert the MP3 file format to a file format that is supported by Windows DVD Maker.

  • Error message when you try to use Toshiba Disc Creator

I recently upgraded to Vista SP1 SP2 and now I get an error message when I try to use Toshiba Disc Creator 2.0.1.3. "An unexpected error has occurred. Error code 32007C-26-00000001 "it worked perfectly before.

This is the first time that I used it since the update so I think that SP2 may be part of the problem, but I'm not sure. I could not find updates for TDC. My system is a Satellite L305-S5919 with Vista 32 bit.
Someone has an idea of what could be the cause of this error?
    Thank you

Have you tried to roll back the OS in time and checking the previous features once again, just to be sure, it has something to do with the installation of SP2?

I put t know if anyone here can offer a solution but I m quite pessimistic in this topic and don t think that Toshiba provide new version.
AFAIK Toshiba disc creator is always available with single and also downloadable image recovery application.
