My computer does not connect to my network... !!!

Hi, my Dell laptop (Inspiron 1420) work properly after that only after a certain time he reported that the wireless card will not work correctly. Now, the laptop does not connect to my network more, even with cable LAN, I checked the Device Manager and I found a yellow exclamation on the Microsoft ISATAP #2 map then I double clicked it only to discover in its properties of this statement, "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31). Well, I try all I can, but the problem is still there, and the laptop won't always connect to my network, please anyone has an idea as to what I could do please answer as soon as possible. tThank you.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your router > make sure you have the latest Firmware in Vista for it.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/notebook > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for it last network adapters Vista drivers > download/install the.

Try without commitment TCP/IPv6:

If you still have internet connection probs, one thing to try is the separation of the TCP/IPv6 (which is done by going to network connection > right click > properties > it uncheck > OK.)

My computer does not connect to a wireless network. It's almost like there is no WiFi. I go into the settings and nothing is. I know that the networks are there because the other computers connect to it. He says always "no connection available. When I try to pull of boredom he tells me to plug an Ethernet cable, which is the thing that I try to avoid. I want to connect to WiFi.

  • I just installed a new router and now my desktop running Windows XP computer does not connect to the internet.

    Hello

I just installed a new router and now my desktop running xp computer does not connect to the internet. I know that it is not the router because I plugged the cable into my laptop running 7 and it works fine. When I try to dhcp I get 169..., when I put manually the IP just get no access to the internet and can not ping to the router address. I tried to run the net work Assistant, emptied my dns, disabled all firewals, still nothing.
    Any suggestions?
    original title: connectivity Limeted

The zero configuration utility works very well. But it is a desktop computer and on cable. All other wired and wireless PC in the office is working well, then it's definitely this PC. He came out of nowhere, I install a network printer on the PC but that's all.

Your messages are a bit terse, but if I understand correctly

    • You have a router connected to the Internet and multiple computers connected to the router, some Ethernet cable and others by wireless.
    • All but one of these computers can reach successfully from the Internet via the router.
    • A computer that can't browse the Internet is connected to the router via an Ethernet cable.
    • You disconnected the cable between the router and the desktop problem and connected it to a Windows 7 laptop and the laptop connected to the Internet via the router.
    • You haven't seen any error message (except, perhaps, a message on "Limited or no connectivity").
    • You have installed Windows XP Service Pack 3 (or at least Service Pack 2)

Assuming that all the foregoing is an accurate summary of the situation, I suggest that you do the following:

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
Type the following lines and press ENTER after each line

    Netsh reset winsock catalog
    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Close the command prompt window and restart the computer.

I worked on the Web site of our Church and all of a sudden this week, my computer does not connect to the site. I get a message saying that the connection to the server was reset while the page is loading. Can anyone has any ideas on how I fix?

The error message "the connection was reset" can be caused by a bug for the attack of the BEAST fix (browser exploit against SSL/TLS) that the server does not support.

  • My daughter's iPad does not connect to my network, although mine don't?

What to do when the ipad to my daughter does not connect to my network?

You talk about your Wi - Fi network? If a single iPad of your daughter does not connect while other devices are working properly, the first thing to do is to reset the Wi - Fi router. Powering the devices iOS and computers connected to your wireless network. Then turn off the router. Wait 30 seconds and turn on the router. After it finishes its startup routine and shows a good access to the Tower of the internet on your iPad, etc..

  • Widows XP does not connect to my network.

Widows XP does not connect to my network. (wired or wireless) The network is functional and all I can understand is ipsec driver service could not start because the specified file is not found. I tried to reinstall the drivers for my wireless card, an external wireless adapter and plug it directly into the router. It detects the network but will not connect to it.

This could be caused by a virus.  What application antivirus do you use, and is up to date?

    In particular, see tcpip.sys.

There are probably several copies of this file on a typical system of Windows XP.  The copy of 'work' found in C:\Windows\system32\drivers with a backup copy in C:\Windows\system32\dllcache.

You can have additional copies in C:\Windows\$hf_mig$\KB951748\SP3QFE and C:\Windows\$hf_mig$\KB2509553\SP3QFE

Assuming that your system is up-to-date, the tcpip.sys version should be 5.1.2600.5625.  It should be 353 KB (361 600 bytes).

You might consider doing a virus scan online with, for example, http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/ or download and analysis with the multi-AV tool of David Lipman, which you can find here http://www.multi-av.thespykiller.co.uk/

I also suggest to download, install, update and equipped with a system full scan with two of these free tools:
    Malwarebytes AntiMalware
    SUPERAntiSpyware

  • Apparently, I got an automatic update of Windows XP. All of a sudden my computer does not connect to my HP Laserjet 1000 printer.

All of a sudden my computer does not connect to my HP Laserjet 1000 printer. These work very well together for several years.

Now all of a sudden I get a message that the computer cable is not connected.  I tried to charge the printer program.

I unplugged and reconnect the cable to the computer, etc.. The system does not work.

I learn by two other people, who have automatic updates of Windows, they had the same problem. We have a Kodak

printer and the other has a Lexmark printer. This makes me think that the problem is in the updates of Windows.

So, what should I do to fix this? I'm NOT a computer person and I'm confused.
