My computer does not recognize my sound card

CL soundblaster card physically installed (correctly) is not listed in the hardware devices, the computer does not recognize it. I activated the sound Board in the bios and plugged the speakers in there, which works very well.

Home Basic SP1 Vista Home machine Pentium Dual E2220 2.40 GHZ.

When I first installed Vista, my machine has recognized my PCI-E graphics card. Upon restart, the sign says I have a standard VGA adapter with 14 MB of RAM, and graphics card is not recognized.

The sound card has never been recognized.

You must disable the sound embedded a map its separate to be activated.

Try another location and you have a bad card.

Disable the sound board and then in Device Manager - click anywhere in the box of white/white
and the VIEW - SHOW HIDDEN DEVICES - to see you now sound card?

I hope this helps.

  • Portege R700 - Autocad 2011 does not recognize the graphics card

I have toshiba Portege R700 with 64-bit win 7 installed.
I need the computer for use with autocad 2011.

For some reason any auocad does not recognize the graphics card installed on the computer.
I suspect it because very little memory is allocated for the graphics card.

How can I change with the memory allocated for the graphics card, or perhaps, can someone show me where can I find a driver that supports autocad.

    Thank you very much!

What Portege R700-xxx you have exactly?
As far as I know the graphics memory cannot be assigned manually.
Everything is controlled by the graphics driver and you have no influence on this

You can try updating the graphics card driver maybe it would help.
The most recent driver found on the page of the European driver Toshiba
If not, you should check the manufacturer of the graphics chip driver

    Good luck

  • Satellite L655 sometimes does not recognize the wireless card

I have a L655. Most of the time it works perfectly fine. Sometimes when I turn on my computer, it does not recognize my wireless card. He considers that it is not at all.

The icon in the status bar says that there is no cable ethernet plugged in and nothing on the wireless.
Usually this icon is not present, and one for the wireless is (whether it is connected or not and if there are connections available or not). In the device manager there is nothing for the wireless card.

Under network card it has only ethernet. Its as if it does not exist.
Basically the way to solve this problem is by restarting simply my computer until he figures it.
Sometimes, it can take 5 or more times.

    Any help please?

What satellite L655-xxx you have exactly?
As far as I know there are different models with different wireless network cards.

  • My computer does not recognize my flash drive at all

In the past I was able to plug my USB key and use it (make changes, and save the information), now when I insert it, nothing happens. Sounds like your AutoPlay settings need to be adjusted.

    Something to try...

Insert the flash drive into a USB port and go... Start / my computer...

The flash player should be recognized by a drive letter...

Right-click on the drive letter and go... Properties / AutoPlay tab...
Left click on the button "Restore default settings" / apply / OK.

Now... Remove and re - insert the flash drive and see if there is an improvement.
