my computer has two network icons, 1394 and con LAN. Either, especially the icon of LAN began to move to items being passed in the system tray when I start the computer.
I have a new and strange behavior on my computer. Until recently, the two icons, 1394 connection and LAN icons always used to appear in the whole system tray after the computer has been started. Is no longer the case. Whenever I start the computer, I don't see the icon of LAN but discover that it attributed to items passed. Then I open the properties of the network connection, uncheck 'Show the icon in the system tray', click Apply + OK, then I open the properties, check the box again, click Apply + OK; only the LAN icon is displayed in the system tray. I'd appreciate any help with this problem. The situation is sometimes the reverse case, i.e., LAN icon appears in the system tray, but I find the icon to connect 1394 points ago. I put the properties in the Start Menu, the toolbar always showed.
Hi ErhanKarabekir,
- Did you the latest changes on the computer?
- You have security software installed on the computer?
Method 1
Refer to the article below and try the steps mentioned, check if it helps.
How to troubleshoot missing network connections icons in Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/825826
Method 2
If the previous step fails to them it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
(a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
(b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
(c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
(d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

I pay for this msn messaging service and I'm upset that anyone can hack my email so easily. I want that stopped.

My password has expired on Windows 7 and I can't access the machine
I have a Samsung Windows 7 Home Edition laptop. Last night, the password has expired (apparently without warning) and now I can't access the machine. I tried Safe Mode, but it returns the sign on screen. Tried to fix and had the same end result - a return to the login screen. There is only one account on the machine.
When your password has expired then, you will be immediately prompted to enter a new password. Unless you enter a new password, Windows won't let you continue.
No, I had not given the possibility to enter a new password. It's a stupid system to have passwords expire on home computers.
What you say does not correspond with my own observations.
Restart in Mode safe mode, and then log in as administrator. The password is usually empty. Now, you can reset the password for your existing account.
When you're done, plan in advance and create, test and document a second admin account.
To avoid that your passwords expiring, follow these steps:
1 log in under an administrator account.
2. click on start.
3. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
4. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
5. click on "run as Administrator".
6. type the following command and press ENTER:

Windows Update icon appear not to system tray when an update is available
Whenever my computer gets an update I see the update available in the off option but not in the system tray. What a way to turn it on? I get updates via WSUS.
It is likely in the corral of notification. Next time you see the option off, display of the overlay alert icon, view by the clock and click the triangle to display hidden notifications. Your Windows Update icon should be there, and you can drag it to the bottom to the toolbar set as a priority so that it is never hidden again. Note that if there is no update to download or install, the icon will disappear as usual.
If it solves your problem, click on the link "Propose as answer" below and vote as useful by clicking on the green triangle for the lelft. Thank you!

in some sites, there are two menus in competition and you can't use the bottom menu
I've been using The Shopping Channel years but since I loaded Firefox I can't open certain areas of this site (and other sites). Menus appear to be in competition with each other. There is a regular menu below and a new "BOLD" menu on the top. If I need to look for the customer service, it is blocked by this "BOLD" menu on the top.
I wrote to them several times, but they say that the problem is at my end.You can watch one of the extensions I posted above to increase the zoom of page and minimum font size.

No one knows how to solve this problem, said above?
Hi computerdiane,
Have you tried to screw up the Photoshop preferences.
Steps to follow:
To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"
Reference: preference file works, names, places | Photoshop CS5
Let us know if that helps.
Kind regards

Pros and cons of use control the VM for HA
Hello-
I want to know if the turn on the 'enable virtual machine control' is an effort worth it. At first, I thought that it would be a good idea because it would withstand a single dual-port HBA failure in one of our ESX host servers. However, another Member of the team high a good point about the possible disadvantages when virtual machines are cut down to maitnenence. I would really appreciate some comments about knowing if people have had positive experiences with relying on this HA option.
Thank you in advance-
I'm not for it. I don't like the idea of having HA monitor my VM. I think that there are 3 third-party products like SIM, MOM, BigBrother that work better. After all VMM control heart rate.
and there is also this question
http://KB.VMware.com/kb/1007899
just my two cents worth.

Hey guys,.
So far, you have been a lot of knowledgeable people this fantastic, charming and helpful! (Oh, regarding my previous posts..., of course!).
Yet, for now I just found out that Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5 has truncated the amount of layout options, in comparison it is predecessors.
This came to my attention since I started reading the tutorial from Adrian Senior. Design with CSS - Part 1: understanding the Concepts of Design CSS.
It seems fantastic, rich in content and information. However, I have not seemed to Excel past that... considering so he asked me
create a 2 elastic column, left sidebar, header and footer layout.
I did my own research, lately, even if she has been without success. A tutorial that I read on the website of adobe asked that I should
Download a Dreamweaver Exchange product. Finally, I downloaded the package Flexi CSS layouts... Yet, I have not really found much use.
If anyone has answers or suggestions to my problem, it would be fantastic!
Take care!
-Joshua.
(NOTE: if it does something easier, I'm referring to "Figure 2" in the Designing with CSS-Part 1: Understanding CSS Design Concepts Adrian powers.-> http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/css_concepts_cs3.htmltutorial page)
elastic column 2, sidebar left header and footer... It's right there in the CS5.5 choices.
Simply select New > blank Page > more and you will find it

Mine makes no noise noticeable at startup or another so I would get the extract.

Binds a guest operating system to one of the two network adapters on the host computer?
Sorry if the topic is confusing. I have a host operating system to Server 2008 running on a server that has two network jacks. Allows to call an (192.168.10.24) and B (192.168.10.25).
My guest operating system is set to bridged with the IP 192.168.10.26 mode
I want to say VMWare to always use A NIC when it comes with this guest operating system. Is this possible?
In my (Control Panel Windows) network connections, I see my two NICs A and B as well as VMWare Network Adapter WMnet1 and VMnet8.
Thank you!
Run the utility for configuring the network (vmnetcfg.exe) as an administrator on the host computer, disable the automatic bypass, set vmnet0 to one of your physical network cards and a virtual NETWORK adapter not used, such as VMnet2, and then assign the other physical NIC. Then to your comments, change its settings and select vmnet0 or vmnet2.

Network keeps falling and reconnection - HP's ENVY touchSmart m6 sleekbook.
Original title: HP ENVY touchSmart m6 sleekbook keeps falling and reconnecting network connection
While on the website connection is deleted without warning and after a few minutes reconnects to the server used previously. The computer is new with window 8. Try to find out what causes gout and prevent it from happening.
I had the same problem with mine. I'm still not sure I fixed it completely, but I found that there are two network cards installed and disabling one of them seems to help. I found it under device manager. I have disabled the microsoft network card. I hope this helps. Good luck!
