Visa update problem
After trying to install the updates. my computer is now stuck in constant reboot mode while showing "Configuring updates 3 of 3 0%, do not turn off your computer. I tried to follow the instructions provided here because it seemed to be the same problem. But when I restart and hold down the F8 key so I can boot into safe mode, I tried selecting safe mode and I get the same results, and I tried again by selecting the option 'Disable automatic reboot' which seems to be an option on the same page with the option of safe mode. Whatever it is, the same message comes back and I can never get to where I can see my desktop to click 'start '. I can't get out of this cycle. I installed the update because it said I needed to install it.

Greetings,
I installed updates in my Windows 8.1 partition. Then he asked me to restart the computer, and the message "we could not finish updates, exchange loss, do not turn off your computer" appeared and was on-screen for hours. I thought to reinstall bootcamp but I have software in the Windows partition that cannot be recovered. I read that one of them starts Windows in 'Safe' Mode, but this is not possible. I use a MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, early 2015) OS X 10.10.5
How can I fix this without wiping the Windows partition and lose my software?
Thank you!
Have you created a Windows system restore point before the upgrade?

Since the purchase of my new laptop ASUS Windows 8, it took nearly 10 hours to install the 42 "Windows updates", and 22 "Apps updated and running a restart where"configuration Windows 100% full features do not turn off your computer"sitting on my screen for 40 minutes." I can't believe this is the technology of 2013. I'm afraid how long it will take to install Office - can I take the computer back to the seller?
Hi Duncan,.
I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing.Method 1:Start the computer and follow these steps to restore health:a. press the Windows key + X.
b. open Prompt (Admin) command.c. type dism.exe / online/cleanup-image /restorehealth and press ENTER.Method 2:I suggest to refer to the section my computer crashes or freezes when it installs the updates and run the fixit the link:Crashes Windows or freezesNote: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Method 3:Check out the link and follow the steps in the article:Error: Failed to setup of the Windows updates. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer when you try to install Windows updatesNote: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.Note: It is strongly recommended that you back up all your personal files.Hope this solves the problem. Windows-configuration updates step 3 0f 3 - do not turn off your computer
Help please before you take a hammer to the laptop. The update seems to be in a loop and for 3 days I wasn't able to stop or delete it. I turned off, left running for hours on end and tried everything I can think of. How can I erase this. I'm not very good with computers, so maybe it's a simple answer then excuses.

I am extremely frustrated.
I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop. It works fine, until today. My computer tried to update and in the process, failed. I wait now more than 4 hours on the same screen. Pressing F8 does nothing. I tried to restart. I can not open troubleshooting because the computer is stuck on the same screen. The circle to show that it is loading is always in motion and my mouse moves as well. I called MIcrosoft support and they told me to reboot and wait. It is, I already did, but they told me to do it again. I have some files I have would be broken lose. Help, please.
Hello
If you don't mind not to lose your files, turn the system off.
Turn off the computer. The next step, you will hear a shrill signal strong. Be prepared.
Press 0 (zero) key and power up the computer
Key 0 (zero) when the recovery warning screen
Press the F12 key during the appearance of the Toshiba logo
You should then see the Start Menu
Using the up/down arrow keys, select > HDD Recovery > press Enter
If offered a selection of Windows 32 or 64-bit, be sure that you select the correct operating system
You should be able to create a recovery media. Once you have installed Windows, click Search > Type recovery
You should see an option to create your own recovery discs
If this isn't the case, I suggest that order you them from Toshiba.

How can I get rid of this stupid message and have a normal boot. This took place yesterday, and it's a real pain. How can I get rid of this.
I had this problem 2 days in a row. Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. "Automatic updates" not ended and I got the same message on restart and had to wait for it to timeout.
I tried "manually" update, and that fixed the problem.
Go to the control panel. Click on system and security. Click on Windows Update and follow the instructions. I selected the updates recommended, installed and rebooted. Problem solved.
(I have no idea why this problem occurred. In the "Windows Update", I opened the "update history" and saw the 'Impossible' updates, but I don't dig deeper than that.)

Windows Update will not work. -Left running for more than 2 hours and always at 0%
I tried to use Windows Update, and it did nothing. I have the update for 2 hours and 11-day for my computer downloaded 0% 0%. How can I get the update downloaded and installed?
Ideas:
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
Don't you worry in this regard at the moment, the servers could be a little overwhelmed. It will download when the servers are not so busy.
There are quite a few updates coming through this month and a lot of people to distribute updates.

Hello
Maybe it's because you the CD/DVD-ROM are not set as first Boot priority in the BIOS.
Visit this link to find out which key press to boot in the BIOS according to the manufacturer of your system:

OT: Windows Update failure 8.
I recently re-installed Windows 8 using an old product key once I updated my PC using Windows 7 due to failure to boot Windows Technical Preview. The installation went smoothly, but when installation is finished, he told me that I had installed updates, for the most updated security. I installed them and restarting my PC, he has said configuration Windows Updates... Do not turn off your computer. It is immediately followed by updates default Windows configuration . Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer. It accomplishes this task for like 10-15 minutes and then finally starts. Once my PC starts, this cycle starts again. So far, happened 4 times.
Could someone please fix this? I want to update to Windows 8.1, but could end up, I'm stuck with Windows 8. (Also, why download from the store disappeared? "I'm not using a RT system).
Thank you!
