  • Help! I deleted all MyRIO software and it is stuck in safe mode

    Hello

In the NI MAX interface, I saw that there was a new version of the software to intall, in the section where it is possible to add and remove items from software to MyRIO among a list with checkboxes. The last option in this list was something like all erase, remove all software or other similar texts.

I did intend to install the new version of the software after that. Then the MyRIO restarted in safemode, whith the led blinks three or four times every 5 seconds. And it was never recognized by the computer.

I tried the button to reset without success. The MyRIO is still stuck in safe mode.

Then I tried to communicate using the serial port on my computer set up according to the Guide to MyRIO, fitting RX, TX and GND of the connector on the PC in the ports of the UART of the connector has MXP. But the MAX NOR see the MyRIO, there is no response to the serial communication.

How can I install the software again in MyRIO?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Rodrigo.

    Hello

Today, I managed to communicate with MyRIO and now its working again.

The RS232<->UART using the MAX232 IC worked, but I couldn't install the software in MyRIO via this interface.

Without doubt, I uninstalled the software OR associated with MyRIO from my host, because when I plugged the MyRIO using the USB interface for my other computer, he acknowledged, and I installed the software into it without problem.

    Kind regards

    Rodrigo.

  • Why my computer keep starting in safe mode

Why my computer keep starting in safe mode, it doesn't let me do system restore and health comes back fine but it says I have hardware or network problems

Well, to prevent to load in safe mode, you should be able to press F8 when your computer starts, then select start windows normally. If it says that you have hardware problems or network you can or you can't. If you start windows normally and nothing seems wrong, you can start the Device Manager to check the hardware and just go on the internet to see if the network is fine. To enter the Device Manager, right click on my computer, then select Properties, then on the new close window left click Device Manager.

  • computer automatically starts in safe mode without prompting, a problem with your computer might be preventing Windows from start normally__

computer automatically starts in safe mode without prompting, a problem with your computer can prevent Windows to start normally

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

If the system restore does not work, do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.

If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

Ensure that your data is backed up / copied to external media. It seems that your PC has a hardware problem. If it's a name brand PC, for example Dell / HP etc it may have preinstalled utility test read the manual or manufacturer's web site

If it's a generic PC, then your machine to HD will have a free test bootable utility, for example SeaTools from Seagate

  • Computer guard boot in safe mode, following a bad virus

    Hello world.
My laptop was recently infected by a rather nasty virus that stopped me being able to open my anti-virus (avast) software in order to get rid of it. There was a lot of other programs I could not open the internet including Explorer. I left my computer for a few days and decided to buy a system restore software to completely erase my hard drive. I was quoted £50 so I decided to have a last date. I started windows in safe mode and miraculouly managed to open avast this time, I did a full scan and 9 infected files deleted.
All the virus seems to have disappeared, but there are a few remaining problems. Now, whenever I turn on my computer windows starts in safe mode (even when I select the option to start windows normally). Windows Explorer keeps not working and closure (for example, when I try to go to the control panel) and my laptop will not connect to internet broadband in my house.
Is it possible that I deleted some important system files while getting rid of the virus, or everyone recognizes it as something else? I'm scared, I'm just a normal user, and I don't know too much about computers so please go easy on me.
I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer.

  • Computer still starts in safe mode

    Original title: pls help!

I have a macbookair running windows7, after that a s clicked improper shutdown 'start in safe mode' by mistake. Now, it runs very slow (about 10 seconds for mouse to move from one side of the screen to the other). When I restart properly, or stop and start again, it is constantly upward in safe mode... any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community!

The computer starts in safe mode, and work slowly.

Computer would boot in safe mode if the safe mode startup option is enabled in the system configuration utility.

    Uncheck the boot option:

    Method 1:

    To disable:

    a. Click Start, type msconfig.exe and press enter

    b. now click on the Startup tab and uncheck the option of safe mode.

To work with the computer is slow:

Method 2: Run the troubleshooter of performance

    See the site:

    Open the troubleshooter of Performance

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/open-the-performance-Troubleshooter

    Method 3: Clean boot

When the computer starts to boot, programs non-Microsoft will not be started and would avoid any interruption of their share.

    See the mentioned site:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: once you are done with the boot, follow step 3 of section to set your computer to normal startup.

Note: If in case, you are connected via a connection wireless, and then when you start the System Configuration utility to perform the clean boot, click Startup and Services tab one time and check wireless see corresponding section are checked (enabled).

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, or if you have problems of Windows in the future, let us know and we would be happy to help you.

  • Computer woks fine in safe mode, but completely stops in normal mode after 15 seconds

    SP2 of Windows 7

My computer works fine in Safe Mode but when I go to Normal mode the windows on the screen comes up but after about 15 seconds the computer will completely completely OFF as if I turned it off. Any help would be appreciated...

This looks like a temperature problem.  Go to http://www.download.com and download Speedfan.  It will show you the internal time.  If they are all under 50 degrees C, you're OK, if they are over 65, that's your problem, between watching the bears.

Another possibility is a virus or corrupted system files.  Get your updated antivirus program, and then run a full system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

    -

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

    -

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

    `

When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and make it regular periodic updates.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
