My computer restarts when the awakening of suspension

It's a mobile Athlon 64 with Windows XP (32 bit) and SP3.
When I press the suspension button or select suspension in the stop menu, it suspends its light flashing and all.

Problem is: when I move the mouse or press a key any wakes up, it starts windows from scratch, as if it had restarted. Of course, all this process when he was on suspension is lost.

I resorted to it hibernation and that works.

I just reinstalled. Suspension, used for the last time that I used it, several months of work.

Thanks for any help.

You can now close the system window.

Subsequently, when the computer is lorsque l' ordinateur s' arrete stop the computer restarts automatically and you will receive the error message, make a note of it and post back.

  • Mouse freezes on slow computer-xtra when the computer on the floor is in use, what is interference

Have a dell computer. Located in the basement. When the mother-in-law is on his computrt (almost directly above mine) myh mouse and keyboard(wireless-logitech) freezes or is very slow. There are obviously some type of interference. What it could be.

    Hello

Yes, it's pretty weird. I think that you have to find what is the cause of the interference and change this possibility. I think you might be right on the phone, as it's probably the thing the highest range.
I've seen in the past, where a wireless mouse will be affected by a certain type of remote TV and stuff like that, but in general it is restricted to a small area, such as the size of a living room perhaps. That's why it seems so strange, usually this kind of thing affects an entire House or several floors of a House, but I guess it's possible.
  • The computer restarts when you try to stop.

When I try to shut down my computer, it automatically performs a reboot, forcing me to manually shut down the computer with power butter. In addition, the computer sometimes restarts automatically if left idle for too long.

    Hello

Could be linked to the heat, make sure that the computer has adequate ventilation, maybe use a small fan to
Add air flow. On a PC, the cards, the memory and the cable (both ends) will need to be reinstalled.
Remove all power and remove and replace those, don't do not just tight. Can't do that on a good laptop.
Also check the power supply Plan of Advanced Options to make sure there aren't some parameters here that cause
    power off.

Look in the Event Viewer to see if something is reported on those.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Should the virtual computer restarts when ESX loses power?

We are currently testing out redundancy ESX and we found is that one of our ESX goes down (loses power) the VM restarts and arrive on an another ESX.

These should be restart?  They transferred just not on the other ESX without a reboot?   I need to know if it works as intended or if it is a problem of config on our end.

    Thank you!

Yes, it's exactly what should happen.  When your host died suddenly, all CPU/memory status is lost.  Therefore, they need to be restarted.  Note: HA is not VMotion.

In future versions, you will be able to run a second instance of critical VMs on the intermediate hosts, and in case of failure of the primary host, VM secondary will pick up where the other left off... a bit like RAID-1 for the virtual machine.
