My computer screen is sideways! Help

This morning I woke up on my computer and the entire screen is sideways.  I have no idea how this happened or how to fix it please help!

Hi Caseymac1,

You have probably inadvertently, you press a combination of keys that changed the orientation of your screen.

You can try pressing the CTRL with the BOTTOM TOP/arrow keys to see if this will bring (you may also try the arrow keys left and right, if this does not work). Otherwise, go into Control Panel and look for your graphics card Control Panel (if you have an NVidia card, it will be a NVidia Control Panel, if you have an ATI card, it will be something like ATI Catalyst). Click on your graphics card Control Panel icon, and once the graphics card Control Panel opened the eyes of an option "to rotate the screen. You will then be able to change the screen from portrait to landscape. The computer is an emachine and was purchased at a walmart nearly 5 years ago and it worked fine until one day it started to do this. I can't access any of my files or anything. It must be a software problem, because since then I checked all the problems of material possible and found nothing. the result of this is that I can't use my computer. It is a desktop computer and was reliable until it happened. I'm not sure of the cause, and I think it's something wrong with the operating system. I have tried everything I know and need help as soon as possible.

I have a laptop computer L50 - A Satellite. Almost, I disabled the touch-pad - the cursor is now worked by a mouse, but if I happen to touch the touchpad while typing, all kinds of things happen, and I'd rather it off altogether. My major problem is that tonight I rested my hand on the touchpad and screen unexpectedly made a turn at 90 degrees and Ow works vertically rather than horizontally. How can I activate my screen. Very difficult to get answers so that my head is screwing around trying to read the screen! Any help much appreciated.

The ability to rotate the screen image is a characteristic of your video
card, to help work with instructors who turn to the portrait
orientation. Almost certainly you accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and
    an arrow key.

    Rotate using these keys.

    Hello

Check with the system manufacturer or the manufacturer of the monitor if they are separated, their drivers and documentation online
and ask in their forums (if any). Check all connections which are removable.

    Try updating the video drivers.

    I hope this helps.
