Hello ClaudeMusy,

Specifically what password is deleted after restarting your computer?  Also, in regards to erase memory, what memory are you referring too?  Please let us know status.

Thank you

Open Power Options - you can do it from the control panel by typing Power Options in the start menu, or by right click on the battery icon in your system tray (right end of the taskbar.)
Click on "change plan settings" for your current power management.  On the next page, click "Change advanced power settings".  On the box that opens, expand 'Power buttons and lid', then 'action close cover.'  Change the selection to "on battery" to the 'status quo', and then click OK.  Close the power Plan window.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    Hello Timbay1,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

What has changed in your environment, as it was working before and now does not work? Have you installed any new software or updates?
It can be 3rd party software created a conflict with your codecs and you need to re - register.

You could check and see if you have compatible Codecs installed in Windows Vista.
or you can try to use the codec for Vista Codec Pack - pack

There are other 3rd party codecs but I can't guarantee that they will work with Windows Vista.

Please answer back with an update.

  • Power problems: computer turns off when the power supply cord is unplugged.

original title: power problems: computer shit turned off when the power supply cord is unplugged.

    I have a HP Pavilion dv2000

    Windows vista home premium/sp2

    1 GB memory

    32 bit operating system

I have 2 problems with this laptop.

    !. I have lost the power cable and bought an expensive one online step (model: PA-1650-02 c. input 100-240v 1.5 put out a(1,5A) 18.5V 3. 5 = a)

When I first plugg cord battery charge light came on the balance, then he started to come on and outside.

now its completely off, even with the power cord plugged in. on the lower right part of the screen its showing that cord is connected to the power supply and the battery is fully charged, but as soon as I unplugg the power cord or remove the computer cut right away.

the second problem is that the left mouse botton does not work, the work aside right very well. I went in the proprties to put it right, click on to, but who does not work either. I've updated the drivers but still nothing.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi aloum,.

    (a) what kind of mouse you are using?

    (b) the left button of the mouse seems to be stuck or it does not meet the click? This only happens with certain applications?

Step 1: Test the mouse on another computer or another mouse on the test computer

To determine whether the mouse or the computer is defective, follow these steps:

    1. test the mouse in question on a system that works, you know. If the problem appears to follow the mouse, you may need to return or replace the mouse.

2 test a mouse you know is working on the computer in question. If the problem seems to stay on the computer, then the problem is most likely related to the software.

In regard to the battery not holding charge

Battery problems are often associated with the battery itself. If you encounter this problem, contact your mobile PC manufacturer. If you purchased the battery separately from the notebook computer, contact the manufacturer of the battery.

  • Stop and restart the cssd on all cluster nodes

    Hello

Release our system to operate under linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5.3 (Tikanga) 2.6.18 - 128.1.1.el5
Our ASM is 11.1.0.7.0 block of POWER 2
Only ASM is clustered. Databases are not.
    2 cluster nodes (Clusterware 11.1.0.7.0)

    I have two questions:
    1. we need to stop and start the cssd (crsctl stop crs, crsctl start crs) on both our 2 nodes of clusters.
In our test group, I stopped first the ASM and dbs all running on 2 nodes
Then I got arrested and restarded the cssd on the first node, and then on the second node. What is the good order or procedure?
I noticed after the cssd (crsctl stop crs) stopped the process "/ bin/sh /etc/init.d/init.cssd fatal" was always present. I waited for 30 seconds, but he was always there. Then I restarted the cssd (crsctl start crs) in any case. Why was the fatal process always there? It happened on both nodes. After you restart the cssd, I killed the "/ bin/sh /etc/init.d/init.cssd fatal" on both nodes. He was evidently reappear.

in the event that we want to restart both nodes of the cluster, should 2 - I start by disabling the crs before restart the cluster of 2 knots (crsctl disable crs), and then turn it back on after that 2 linux servers are back (crsctl enable crs)?

    Thank you, man

    Hello

So, for the closure of this thread, which is the appropriate procedure - for them stopping and restarting the cssd on the two cluster 2 node - among the two below:

1 - do a "crsctl stop Sir' and then 'crsct start crs' on the first node. Then do the same thing on the second node
    2. make a "Sir crsctl stop" on both nodes. Then do 'crsct start crs' on both nodes

I want to avoid is the two nodes start to restart because of the cssd.

You can run 'crsctl stop/start' at the same time on both nodes or so as you want (1 or 2), no problem.

If you start the clusterware on a first node and later the second node, just make sure that all services who were on the first node the second node have been properly resettled on the second node.

    Kind regards
    Levi Pereira

I restored my computer to girls at an earlier date, and now the password windows 7 won't save us. She never changed the password before and now we cannot connect. How to do it please help.

This means that a different password was in effect at this point, even if your daughter thinks otherwise. There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:
    • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
    • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
    • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create such a key file).
    • Use the password indicator (only works if an indicator was created and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
    • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)
The most important point would be: run a machine without a spare admin account is about as risky to have a house key. Sooner or later, he is at risk for any number of reasons.
