My coumpter droped 2 dll files why?

some how i9 lost it\ windows\system32\NvCpl.dll and c\windows\system32\NvMcTray how to find and download files?

If you are using an NVIDIA video system (whether on the motherboard or a supplement), the installation of the NVIDIA software added one or more startup items to launch the NVIDIA Control Panel.  They are set to launch and run whenever your system boots.

If it worked before and you have made some system updates lately, something is messed up with it or your system has an affliction of malware.

To see what commands look like, click Start, run and enter in the box:

Msconfig

Click OK to start the System Configuration utility, and then click the Startup tab to display the startup items.  You may need to drag the autour columns to see things better and like msconfig isn't a Boot Manager (this is a troubleshooting tool) you can't "make of the display is wider.

Items with check box will be launched automatically once XP restarts.  With the checkbox elements are still "installed" but not set to start automatically every time you start XP.

The NVIDIA partners start lines see you in msconfig Startup tab will look something like this:

RunDLL32.exe C:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll, NvStartup
RunDLL32.exe C:\windows\system32\nvmctray.dll, NvTaskbarInit

If the C:\windows\system32\nvmctray.dll or C:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll files are missing somehow corrupted, inconsistent, out of date or wrong versions (maybe), when NVIDIA applications trying to launch, messages can appear like this (or even complain):

Rundll32.exe - bad Image
The application of the DLL c:\windows\system32\nvmctray.dll is not a valid Windows image.   Please check this against your installation diskette.

RUNDLL
Error loading c:\windows\system32\nvmctray.dll
%1 is not a valid Win32 application

If you don't think you use the NVIDIA Control Panel, you could simply disable the items is msconfig to prevent it to launch when you start your computer.  If you use Control Panel NVIDIA, deactivation of the elements and will leave your system without (perhaps not a good thing) NVIDIA Control Panel.

You could just go ahead and disable the startup items in msconfig (deactivation does not uninstall anything), restart your system and understand the functioning of your system.  If things get worse, you can rerun msconfig and reactivate the NVIDIA elements, but I hope it is your desire to fix things the right way.

Disabling items in msconfig is not really fix things and you will not have a NVIDIA Control Panel, but some people don't know what the NVIDIA Control Panel looks so can be good.  You will have stopped the message from popping up every time you start.

If you want to use the features of NVIDIA Control Panel, you must repair or reinstall your NVIDIA software.

The best way to reinstall the NVIDIA software is to visit NVIDIA support web page and let your system and recommend the best software for your system or that you get the right version of the software on their web page and download the latest package of video driver for your system software and install it yourself.

It is recommended to run the scan NVIDIA with Internet Explorer.

Here is the link to the support page NVIDIA for the scan:

http://www.nvidia.com/download/Prescan.aspx?lang=en-us

Read the instructions, and then click the GRAPHICS DRIVERS button to start the scan.

Let online to take a look at your video system scanner them and see what he suggests for drivers and consider their analysis if they offer a new pilot.

Download and install the recommended driver and restart your system.

If following their indications do not straighten things, then follow these steps:

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

Msinfo32

Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here.

For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information.

This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.

When you have the time, I could do that too:

Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:

Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

    Hello

    a screenshot of the error message would be useful. However, I agree with Chris: as in your VI using DAQ Assistant, probably the error is caused by the absence of driver DAQmx on the target computer. • Why can't I open some .dll files?

    I have an old computer a file called atmcd32d.dll that says typotheque labview vi. When I open it it shows me a library of functions of vi that I need to operate an instrument. I downloaded the drivers updated from the site of the instrument and the new file is still atmcd32d.dll, but now the guy says DLL File and does not open. When I double click nothing happens. When I transfer the file from your old computer to the new it still opens.

    Do I have to extract the .dll files or what?

    TSCline-

    DLL is linked dynamically, libraries.  They are a binary format that can be run only on machines from the base of the window (and not on Macs).  It should not be possible to open a dll (if you opened it in Notepad you should see nonsense).  To use the dll, they must first be compiled and linked to your OS.  Then, you must know the hooks into the dll.  In Labview, you interact with through the node to call a library function of dll, and it must know how the function is called, you can correctly specify the parameters of entry and exit (a header file will tell you which functions are available in the dll and how to interact with them).  I think you can find more info on ATMCD32D. • presentation of the webcam.dll file

    Hi there everyone, I'm trying to learn how to use the library of appeal in Labview and it would be my first time doing so.

    I'm looking for an example online for usb and webcam.

    I found this example with

    WEBCAMGRAB. DLL

    I looked in the blocked diagram and I see 3 entries.

    the reason why I know because the schema-block said.

    lets say that I have not blocked diagram and only the WEBCAMGRAB. DLL file. How will I know how to use the file in the node of the LIBRARY of CALL?

    How can I tell that an int32 is driver, the width and height?

    The .h file is useful because it allows you to run the shared library import wizard. It will (try to) create individual screws for each function in the DLL. The wizard requires the DLL itself and the header file. If you do not have the .h file, then you must associate the node library function function call.

    With the help of a hardware control DLL is no different than using a DLL to something else. Everything is a matter of understanding what are the functions of call and in what order. Common problems are by allocating memory for strings or arrays. Usually DLL functions assume that the caller has allocated memory for these.

    What is the VI you have downloaded supposed to demonstrate?  He calls a lot of subVIs, none is included. You call the DLL in the subVIs?

  • build a Visual Studio C++ 2008 .dll file and use it in labview

    Hello

    A few days I tried to create a .dll with c code file and use it with a call library function node in LabView. But I could never do it with success. I use Visual Studio 2008 and labview 8.6.

    I had a look at some tutorials, but they were written for different versions of Visual Studio. And because I'm a newbie to Visual Studio, it was difficult for me to do in another version the turtrial is written for.  However, I have a lot of experience in programming c for processor atmel (AVR Studio).

    Is there someone who could help me step by step hollow Visual Studio C++ 2008 and later versions also help me configure my call library function node?

    I'm form Switzerland, my English may have a few errors. Sorry for that.

    What I've done so far:

    * I opened VisualStudio 2008 and created a new project.

    * For this I used the model ' class library ' (because I live in Switzerland, I have German versions of visual studio, and labview. So, probably, it is not called exactly "class library" in the English version)

    * The project is created and I can insert my functions.

    * but here I have some difficulties: in my tutorials, they say that a function should be defined as follows:

    type name (arguments) WINAPI

    {

    code

    }

    for example

    unsigned int WINAPI multiply (unsigned char, unsigned char b).

    {

    unsigned int c;

    c = a * b;

    return c;

    }

    but when I try to compile the project I get the errormessage:

    SyntaxError: missing; prior to "multiply".

    * When I remove WINAPI, it creates the dll file

    * but when I try to open this dll with a "call library function node" in labview, I get an errormessage labview, that my multiply function is not found in the dll.

    I'd be happy if someone could help me with this.

    You need adorn your statements with extern "C". LabVIEW manages only the C dll; It cannot manage the C++ dll, which is what you will get if you do not have extern "C". I do not understand why you are trying to use 'stdcall '. For a normal DLL just stick to C-calls.

    The link provided by Red rooster is for Visual C++ 6, which is a very old version. I suggest you look at instead, because it deals with Visual Studio 2005.

    When exactly do you get the error message? During execution of any task or when the computer boots/startup?

    Note:

    Eappcfg.dll comes from the software you have installed on your system. As most applications store data in your system registry, it is likely that your registry database suffered from fragmentation and accumulated invalid entries that may affect your computer's performance.

    Here is an example of the properties of one of my .dll files: c:\windows\system32\microsoft.ManagementConsole.dll - file Type: unknown Application - opens with: unknown Application - (if I try to open it, it asks me to choose in my list, or search the Web for an application)

    My problem is, I don't know what the hell I do! Laughing out loud. I don't even know now why I even noticed it.  Anyway, I guess my question is 1) should I I even try to choose an application to open .dll files, or is it a security setting, so I won't be able to open the files that I have no business opening? (2) my properties should apply real knon, instead of saying we don't know? How do I find a list of file names that tell you what you should choose to open different applications or extensions?

    Thanks again for any useful information. :)

    What you see, it's normal.  It is not possible for a user to directly open a .dll (Dynamic Link Library) file.   The file contains functions that can use other programs, but it cannot open or run by itself.

  • Ho I replace the dll files and run codes such as the double-click to open

    How to replace dll files and run codes such as the double-click to open

    Hello

    1. What are the dll files you are trying to replace?

    2. Why do you want to replace the dll files?

    A dynamic library (DLL) file is an executable file that allows programs to share code and other resources to perform specific tasks. Microsoft Windows provides DLL files that contain functions and resources that allow Windows programs to work in the environment with Windows.

  • DLL files

    What is a DLL file and why do I need? cuz it says that I don't have it on my windows Vista.

    Please provide the EXACT message Word for Word and when if happens (I bet at startup).  I guess you have remnants of malware on your system (something your security for most software made and resolved, but missed just this part) that just needs to be cleaned and then the system checked for other malware and all the corruption caused by what happened - but I need the information above to confirm that (and then I'll post the procedures).

    To the extent where what is a DLL file, here is an article that explains it better than me:http://www.easydesksoftware.com/dll.htm.  As with all programs, some are good and some are bad.  It's my experience that most of the messages that appear at the start are bad, but there are exceptions.

    As soon as you let me know the exact message and when it occurs, I will answer you with how to get rid of him (if that's what I suspect - we see that here several times and the solution is relatively simple).  I want to just make sure that it is not a valid DLL file having problems before continuing.

    I hope this helps and look forward to your response.

    Good luck!
