My cursor keeps bouncing around.

My cursor keeps suddenly jump to a place earlier in my text.  This happens very frequently, even as I entered this information, I have to keep going back to correct where the cursor has rebounded to and the information has been entered.  It started all of a sudden, and at first I thought it must just be me, typing too fast and accidentally hit my touchpad, but I've been striking for years and never had this problem before.  In addition, another person recently used my laptop and had the same problem, so I am now convinced that it's not just me.  I took my laptop have extracted and no virus was found.

Have you tried disabling the touchpad just to see? Another thing to check is if you can set the sensitivity of it.

I hope this helps.

I am running Windows 7.  The following problems seem to have started after I upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007 to 2010.

    1. After loading Microsoft Office 2010, I clicked on start, all programs and Microsoft Office.  That's when I first noticed problems.  Rather than to extend Microsoft Office on the list of all programs, the list of all programs bounced around about a second and didn't open or develop anything.  If I scroll down on the list of all programs, and then click XPS Viewer, the list has bounced around and open Windows Live Movie Maker.  Tried again and open the XPS Viewer.

    2. I grew up an image in Windows Photo Viewer, and then I tried to print it.  The printer has been updated the first printer in the list.  If I click on any other printer in the list, the list was bounced the first printer in the list.  I went to devices and printers and deleted the printer who was the first on the list.  Tried to choose another printer and it bounced to what was then the first printer in the list.  None of these early printers is the default printer.  I went back to the devices and printers and changed the default printer.  Tried again and same results.

    3. I opened Internet Explorer and click on tools and Internet Options.  I clicked on settings under browser history under the general tab.  I clicked on the history tab and days for which these pages are kept automatically begins to increase.  I came when he did more than 400.  I went back and he did the same thing.

    4. I clicked on show hidden icons and double clicked synaptic Pointing Device.  I then clicked on the pointer Options tab.  I moved the pointer speed, and it bounced to slow down.  I tried to pass that he returned to slow down.  The cursor now moves much slower when I move my mouse.

    5. I restarted in safe mode.  The problems have persisted.  I ran the Microsoft Safety Scanner.  Lot of stuff found.

    Help

If the problem is always considered when it is started in Mode safe that could involve a hardware problem.

    Try;

Msconfig, disable all startups, in Services, hide all the Services of MS, then reboot, accepting the commissioning of msg, see if the problem is still replicated

PS do all this with external equipment disconnected

If still a problem, restore msconfig and generally changes select Normal startup, restart.

Then visit your laptop to the support site and update drivers chipset and graphics, then retest

  • my cursor keeps jumping everywhere when I type. How to stop this.

My cursor keeps jumping everywhere when I type. How can I stop this?

    Hello

Because the keyboard is integrated in the casing of the laptop, just the vibration caused by typing can cause the touchpad the cursor or initiate a click, depending on sensitivity settings.

You must disable the touchpad when typing. Most modern laptops provide an option or a keyboard shortcut to get there.

The following keyboard shortcuts have been known to disable the touchpad on different systems. N Fand hold and then press F4, F6, F7, or F12 to disable the Touchpad.

Specific instructions, read the instructions for your system or contact the support of laptop manufacturers.

  • Layer to bounce around

I use After Effects CS3.  Very much a beginner. I'm retired and making fun animations for the grandchildren to spend

the time.  I tried to replace their faces on some videos. I used a tutorial to 'put yourself in the movies' of

Arts of Tara and other tutorials.  I'm only picking videos where the hero, or one that does not much move his head.

There is no seat turn and very little movement.  I then use a head shot of one of my grandchildren and it tail

with the video. I have the picture carefully to align with the movement on the video. With the help of Photoshop, I get the color

the photo to match as closely as possible. Then after all that, the head bounces around when I ram preview. It is not

a lot of bounce, but more than the head of the person on the video. Am I missing something or is this not a good

idea.  I'm having fun with after effects and fair made on other projects, but this one seems to have left me speechless.

    Thank you.

  • Pen tool on a new layer keeps bouncing back to the original layer

I'm on a Windows 7 using Illustrator CC machine, using a mouse with the pen tool.

I created shapes on a layer and totrace now want just outside of these shapes on a different layer. It worked pretty well in the first two forms that I did with (at the time consisting of ellipses in layers to create a special form), but on this third one, she keeps bouncing me to the original layer. It is the only form which includes the straights, but I see no reason that could prevent me from being able to outline shapes on a different layer. Any idea what I might hurt?

Have you tried the forms of blocking layer? If you track on another layer and accidentally click on an active anchor on the first layer (or lower) will call you suddenly on this layer.

The mouse internal nipple on my laptop does not work, it jumps around in all directions. I tried to replace that with a USB mouse that works fine except that I hit the space bar, then the cursor will jump on the side of the screen.

It will then continue to scroll on the side of the screen, even if I bring him back. Looked at a lot of forums and it looks like a common fault but not a miracle.

    Help, please

    Hello

I put t think that it s a common fault. It could just be the keyboard malfunctioned.
One of my friends has a Tecra, and the cursor of the mouse jumped crazy on the screen.
It was not possible or very difficult to open all the windows or click on the icons.

The service provider has changed the entire keyboard and it's a solution.
Perhaps you will also need a replacement.

But what happens when allows you to disable the touchpad with FN + F9 function? Make cursor jumps when you use USB mouse?
