My description of podcast iTunes is not updated

I changed the description of my podcast, but the change is still not update in iTunes. My podcast started Soundcloud (I changed the description about 24 hours ago), but now it's hosted on Libsyn. I've updated description here and on Feedburner at least 72 hours ago. Is there somewhere else I might need to make the change? Not 100% sure which of these iTunes out of fill.

Apple actually pulls your description of the summary tag - and NOT the description.

To update your description in your libsyn account go to 'Destinations' and then click 'Edit' to classic libsyn to power.

For the summary field - put in your new description and click Save.

Before clicking on save - also be sure to select 'Explicit' for your show.  Go forward iTunes wants to see a show as clean or explicit.  And if you have an episode that is explicit - you should do the show as explicit.

    Ignore the update, Podcasts is built into iOS 9, you can't update built-in apps on your iPad (except through iOS updates). (It's show due to: remove the built-in apps from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS beta 10 - Apple Support)

    If you have not all devices running older versions of iOS (or if you do, if you do not use Podcasts on them), you could remove the application from the My Apps from your iTunes library section so that the "update" to disappear.

  • Stream Podcast shows of new episodes, but feed validators and subscribed itunes do not update

    Hello everyone, I ran a rather strange problem this morning during the release of my latest podcast episode.  When I publish a new episode, it appears in the flow, but it will not appear in itunes.  I know that there is a delay for the itunes store to show the episode but the episode shows when I check with a subscribed podcast app.

    The last episode is in the RSS feed and as far as I know, everything looks ok:

    But when I look at the flow through a feed validator, it won't show the most recent episode of today.

    While trying to figure out what might be the problem, I tried to put the audio from today in last week's episode (108) and when I go there to play, he continued to play audio from last week even though the RSS feed shows that I put another file in the enclosure.  If for any reason, the stream no is not updated even if it is actually updated.

    The store, by subscribing in iTunes and the stream itself illustrated all episode 108 as the last and at the reading of the episode in iTunes that it promises to be 108.

    Your web page to the http://thechurchcollective.com shows an episode (number 14), dated today. It has a built-in Soundcloud player, which seems not to be the case with episode 108, and such a player will not work in iTunes (if it's probably why Wordpress is not placed in the flow).

    Hey guys. Need some advice here, as I went through all the official channels and have either been ignored or have received a reply which does not relate to my request. I have the new work of loved on my RSS by feedburner podcast. It is 1400 x 1400, less than 500 KB and the color range is correct. "' Stretch of the English".

    The image in the store page is a picture of three men; the image in the section "beacon" in the stream is of two men. The image is, as you say, consistent, so it is hard to see why, it is not up-to-date now, provided you have given to the new image a different file name (keep the same file name would prevent the store whether it had been updated).     Start by missing error MSI.

    It was about 4.5 months that we published our last episode.

    We released a new this morning and it has not yet revealed on iTunes.

    In the past, the new episodes used appears on iTunes in an hour or two.

    Your new episode will appear when you subscribe in iTunes, so the power supply is OK.  When you add a new episode to your stream and download it, it immediately appears for subscribers because their iTunes application reads the stream directly and the store is not involved.

    However, due to the multiplicity of the podcasts in the store (in thousands) the store caches the flow and it checks updates periodically. For this reason, there are usually 1-2 days for new episodes to appear in the store: sometimes it can be lower, and sometimes the whole process seems stuck and it may take several days.

    The delay you see is quite normal; You can expect the new episode to appear in the store in a day or two.

    The store has been slow to be updated recently, sometimes missing episodes in total. Go to the Podcasts Connect, log in, choose your podcast and click 'Refresh Feed'. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that does not work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it.     I recently found a hard drive I hd lost and there a lot of music that I have imported CD years ago.

    In iTunes > Preferences > advanced there are two options, keep... and copy... I think at least one of them is turned off the coast, maybe both. The other made sure that everything you add to the library is copied to the folder media, the first updates the file name and the path of what is in the press kit in response to changes in metadata. Unless you have good reason not to do it, then I would recommend allowing these two options and the consolidation of your media in the designated iTunes Media folder. Note that the titles in .wav format are not tags. These will lose information deleted and re-imported. It is also possible to create without tag mp3 files or mp3 files with several tags that iTunes could not update properly.
