my desktop computer gateway using windows 7 ultimate will detect is no longer one of my 3 cd/dvd discs.
As of this week my Gateway desktop computer no longer recognizes none of my 3 cd/dvd drives. 2 that came with my gateway and also my Sony drx-840u usb. I tried to go to my device manager and tried to uninstall the drivers, when doing so, it starts to install the driver, I think, then he said: installation failed and he states that something is wrong with the registry.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Disconnect external USB key using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
Whatever the USB that I connect to my desktop PC Windows 7 continualy disconnects readers. I tested many drives, but when tested on my laptop using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit all these exact same drives work perfectly.
My office is using and Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz with 3 GB of memory.
I've read this complaint anywhere on the Internet and I tried several fixes with no positive results. All the drivers are up to date. I uninstalled and reinstalled until I'm blue in the face.
What I read during my research, it seems that this is a common problem that 64-bit users are complaining a lot, but that's obviously a problem with the 32-bit version of Windows 7 as well. Many tech Internet sites also claim that it is ONLY a problem on the desktop and not on laptops, which I guess I confirmed in my tests.
Everyone does experience, and if anyone has found a fix?
Thank you.

Two days ago my internet connection has been cut, and then I tried to find out. I opened the Troubleshoot, it says that I need to install a driver for my network card. I use Windows 7 Ultimate. What should I do? Should I re install windows 7 ultimate on my computer?
Hello
What brand / model of the computer?
There is no need to re - install Windows 7. You just need to install the network card drivers. Check out the link and follow the steps.Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware

How change using Windows 7 Ultimate file Access Denied so can access.
Using Windows 7 Ultimate I am the administrator of the computer. I use MSN to my browser window and tried to move my list of favourites on IE (which is not easy). MSN browser does not allow export of a file. MSN told me to locate the MSN folder # in the application Data folder but I'm here and I'm denied. Where can I make changes that allows me to access this folder?
Anyone who knows an easy way to move this folder Favorites let me know. So far MSN of course does not help. Frustrating!
Thank you
James
Hi James,
If you want to give all permissions for each files and folders, you must give permission to the root of the drive (means where the operating system is installed), but give permission to the root of the drive can cause serious problems (such as data loss or incompatibility and registry entry edit permission).
You can see the previous post to change permissions.

How to stop messages from Skype that suddenly appears on my screen when other people use my computer? using windows 8, but I can't control these messages (sometimes very) distracting to appear?
Hello
If you are allowing others to use the computer, set up a new account for each user. They would then not be able to display your desktop or Skype messages.

How can I make the content moves WITH the frame as it is to the left or the right. O.K. works in upwards or downwards direction. If the chassis has been moved to the right, leaving the fixed content, the "buttons" don't work until the frame is moved manually to the left side of the screen. I use Windows 7 Ultimate (x 64-bit) with a LCD 1920 x 1200 in Firefox version 13.0.1 and PORTRAIT orientation. I don't have this problem with Internet Explorer or Chrome.
Hmmm, could you try disabling graphics hardware acceleration? As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.
You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).
Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced
In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.
If you restart Firefox, the problem is solved?
