  Satellite C50-A0413 that was installed with Win8 pr but I didn't like it so I decided to downgrade it so that I can install Win7.

  I formatted the HARD drive and then installed Win7 on the HARD drive.   Sorry, but your ad is quite confusing. If I understand you right, you have installed Win7 on X computer and then removed HARD drive in your C50-A0413 Satellite and now you wonder why Win7 won t start correctly or how understand this?

• Old device restarts when you receive an order

  Hey,.

  I have connected 4 devices on a GPIB to USB adapter. I can see all 4 of them to the interface and 3 of them work as it should (can send commands and obtain the expected answers).

  The 4th one "Programmable Pulse current Source P4000 ' society 'faster' to restart every time that it get´s a command and therefore causes a connection delay. (Also it does not remotely due to recovery).

  It shows the same problem, when it is the only device connected.

  The current Source is about 20 years and the company no longer exists, as we do not have a manual for this source.

  There are a few old devices, which require a special order to get remotely instead of restart? Or maybe this old damaged on the gpib interface device?

  I solved the problem. It happens with every incorrect order and for this device also * IDN? is a wrong command, because she is older that these commands has been standardized. I had the chance of finding an old program that has been forgotten by members of the Institute, where some commands when used to talk to the device and with them it works fine.

  I'm trying to debug an application on the device. I had some initial success, but lately that the machine restarts when the debugger tries to run the application. The application is installed, and I can run from the device after restarting the device, but so far I can't get it to work under the debugger.

  I think that I found a solution to this problem. I tried the suggestion to remove the application Options. Applications on the device. It turns out that it has not completely removed the application. Some library modules remained behind. I was able to remove these Desktop Manager. It is a bit heavy treatment, but it's me unblocked for debugging on the device.

  I hope that RIM will provide us with a better debugging experience in the future. It would be nice if the reset of the device were not necessary, but I guess that's in some scenarios. For the latter, the debugger must tolerate the delay in the connection because of reset. It would also be nice to be able to attach the debugger to a running application. IIRC, it was available in the old JDE SDK.

• PersistentStore is not persistent between the device restart

  I use the PersistentStore to store a hash table with an integer simple mapping custom of POJO. It seems to work between the restarts the application, IE, I can totally my application and restart and persistent data are restored. However, after a reboot of the appliance, such as pulling on the battery, the data are there not more and everything is reset to 0 by default. Same thing happens on the Simulator.

  I certainly call the commit() every time I change the contents of the table of hash and that in a thread safe way. Nothing appears in the journal of the events, or all exceptions...

  It's with OS 4.6.0 and in this case a "BOLD".

  One with ideas or similar issues that I could hurt?

  Right, I found the problem: all the objects you want to persist must implement the Persistable interface. Too bad there is no word about it in the JavaDoc of PersistentStore and PersistentObject and too unfortunate that PersistentObject.setContent () takes an object as a parameter instead of an instance of a Persistable implementation. That probably has to do with the fact that the implementation allows implicit persistables objects as the Java object representatives for more than native data types Hashtable and vector.

  I created an application that performs the following operations:

  1. Read an email address of a BasicEditField that an end user will be input.
  2. Convert this string to an object of net.rim.blackberry.api.mail.Address
  3. Persist the object address by doing a commit sync
  4. Read the persistent object even to intervals and use it to send email.

  I am able to record the e-mail to the PersistentStore address.  When I get out my app running (for sending electronic mail timed) so the device restarts.  After a reboot, the device remains stable and emails come out because they are supposed to.

  I am now able to reproduce this exact behavior if I first enter the e-mail address, it persists and call a GC (garbage collection).  As soon as I do this, the device restarts.  As a tip, I also did a forceCommit() rather than a commit() and there is no difference.

  I tested the following physical devices:

  Bold 9700 - v5.0.0.862 (1446 Bundle, platform 5.1.0.175)

  Torch 9800 - v6.0.0.246 (695 Bundle, platform 6.4.0.150)

  The same behavior is exhibited in both devices.

  I don't think any of you have already encountered this?  I was not able to understand why this is happening and it has been driving me crazy.  If you've seen behavior like this and have either thought about it or not, please answer.  Thank you!

  Imagine that... Address is not persistent.  Could have fooled me because once or twice, the program worked by reading the object address of is.  The behavior seems to be inconsistent.  I have changed my address object in a string and now everything works fine.

• Library iTunes incomplete in iCloud on other devices

  I installed yesterday, iOS10 and iTunes 12.5, on all devices and have enabled the library iCloud music on iPhone and iPad Pro 6, but not all of my itunes (c65, 000 tunes) library shows on these devices. Everything is in order on the iMac except for the option "update iCloud music library" and "update genius" which are both greyed out.

  Other messages here (pre iOS10 and iTunes 12.5) suggest that activate these two updates will help the sinc devices but clearly is not possible at the moment. I'm not trying to "consolidate library" as I do not want to generate duplicate files (I spent months deleting duplicates generated previously).

  Anyone else having the same problem?

  Have you tried resetting the device- restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support or perhaps signing out of your iCloud account, signing in?

• Satellite A500 - 17 X - Webcam does not appear in Device Manager

  I'm looking for more assistance with a recently purchased A500 - 17 X running on Windows 7 64 bit. The Webcam worked when buying, but has suddenly stopped working. Web camera software is up-to-date with the latest download from the Toshiba site, but returns the message at the launch:

  "Web Camera initialization failed" Please, you check the camera device & restart the application or computer.

  I checked the Device Manager under Imaging for webcam devices & is not listed (it's my own laptop; I also have a Toshiba laptop provided by employer & when the webcam is listed on that one, so I presume that it must appear in the same place!

  Does anyone have any suggestions? Would it be a bad connection to the webcam itself, i.e. a warranty issue, or is there a software solution to check if the webcam is actually present? I scan for new hardware & nothing new is detected.

  In my opinion, you should try to reinstall the driver for the webcam. Remove preinstalled software, restart your computer and reinstall the latest version available.

  Best test you can do is to reinstall the recovery image. with factory cam settings should work fine again.

• No Apple USB driver in Windows 10 Device Manager

  Is there a way to retrieve the Apple USB driver in Windows 10 Device Manager.  I downloaded the iTunes 12.3.3 yesterday and now he is gone.

  • plug into each of my Apple devices (iPod, iPad, iPhone, iPhone 4S 6)
  • restarting my computer
  • disabled my virus protection software
  • synchronization with different strings (some Apple, others not)
  • my devices restart and try again
  • Uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling
  • Uninstalling iTunes and goes back to and older version
  • make a Windows system to a restore point when I could synchronize my devices

  My main problem is that I need to sync my devices and iTunes does not detect them without the driver.  Windows can detect my devices and they appear in the file Explorer.  I am also able to get pictures and videos I've taken off the power unit and on my computer with no problems.

  Anything else I can try?  I'm out of ideas.  Thank you!
