My dm3-1030ed supports the 1333 mhz RAM?

Hello

I have a HP dm3-1030ed. Who has

Right now I have 1 066 mhz, if I'm wrong? Which is equal to 533 MHz?

But it says it supports 609,5 MHz. Which is identical to 1333 MHz?

Sorry for the noob questions. But I would like to upgrade my memory. I don't want my laptop to burn or so :-)

I'll go 4 concerts at 8.

Thank you very much

OK but it will not harm my computer. I mean, he'll just be downgraded to right?

If you want to replace the RAM be sure and buy guaranteed compatible memory modules. This way you know for sure it will work.  Your PC will use the time delay of the JEDEC SPD the BIOS finds acceptable.

No it will not hurt your PC.

    Hello

    My card mother H-IG41uATX HP works @ 1066 Mhz with single 2GB 1333 Mhz RAM (Apacer PC-10600) @ 7-7-7-20.

    BIOS is Version 6.08, 07/07/2011.

BIOS it detected as PC-8500. CPUZ shows like PC-10700 work clocked at 533 Mhz (= 1066 MHz DDR).

The processor is Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo E 8400 3.06 GHz with FSB 1333 MHz.

    WIndows 7 operating system

    1. Why does is not able 1333 Mhz motherboard @ full speed?

    2 working memory @ 1066 MHz @ 7-7-7-20 VS memory work @ 1333 MHz @ 9-9-9-24, which is better?

    Khelifi

Sure... While theoretically fastest speed of memory should be faster, there is little or no difference in the overall performance of the memory. The memory CASE latency generally increases the rated speed increases. Latency means basically 'backwardness' and this latency to counterbalance the gain by increasing the speed. Still, you would never notice a difference between the two.

  • EliteBook 8440p; DM1-3020us: 2x4gb 1600 MHz DDR3L works in Pavilion DM1 but not Elitebook 8440p? But both are supported than 1066 MHz RAM

I have two Elitebook 8440p PCs that both run an Intel i5 520 m (although one of them has a discreet Nvidia NVS 3100 m, while the other does not and use the integrated graphics card Intel).

I also have a Pavilion DM1-3020us with an AMD E-350 APU; It's the only other PC I own which takes SO-DIMM DDR3 modules.

I just bought this Crucial DDR3L 1600 MHz 2x4gb hoping to use it with the 8440p without the graphics from Nvidia:

    http://www.BestBuy.com/site/crucial-2-Pack-4GB-1-6GHz-PC3-12800-DDR3L-so-DIMM-Unbuffered-non-ECC-lap...

However, it causes crashes and BSOD as soon as he tried to start under Win7 64 bit on both 8440 p PCs.  Also when trying to boot Linux Mint 18 I empty a kernel panic, and run Memtest86 + just leads to restarting the PC within seconds.  Yet, I can navigate through the BIOS throughout the day and it will continue to work very well...

But here's where it gets really weird - the RAM works perfectly fine in my laptop DM1 Memtest86 + and Win7 64 bit (I use it as I type this).  What's curious?  Because both the AMD E-350 and the Intel i5 520 m only support up to 1066 MHz RAM!

The only thing I can think is that there is something wacky where RAM is unable to operate at 1066 MHz at 1.5V or is not able to run at 1.5V to all E-350 1.35v support (and 1.5V RAM so that the i5 520 m only supports 1.5V) which itself would be really strange that Micron (which actually manufactured the RAM) States on their website that their 1.35v and 1.5V RAM have actually the same die (a bit like mobile i7s quad vs quad I5S Office) and that both can operate at 1, 5V, implying therefore that the 1.35v product is simply a higher binning:

    https://www.micron.com/~/Media/documents/products/technical-note/DRAM/tn4114_ddr3_1_35v_1_5v_compat...

Crucial live chat support, however, closed several hours for the day, so I thought I would at least make this post in the meantime.

    Hello:

Please see this thread, and the discussion that I posted in this thread... and you'll have your answer.

6550 b has the same chipset as the 8440p.  I posted the link to the site from NewEgg for the memory, you need to buy if you live in the USA/Canada in the discussion that I've referenced to the other person who had the 8440p.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware-and-upgrade-questions/RAM-memory-modules-that-actually-work-for-HP-EliteBook-8440p/m-p/5570634#M335108

There are several discussions on this issue if you want to find even more.  Everything is solved by specific G.Skill memory I posted.

The extent of why it works in the dm1 and not the 8440p, the chipsets are different.  The Intel chipset in the 8440p doesn't support voltage DDR3L.  Comparison of AMD and Intel chipsets are like comparing apples and oranges.

I also believe that the chipset amd in the dm1 is more recent than the chipset in the 8440p and promotes low-voltage memory.

I have just return from memory and use the gift card on something else.

I doubt that Best Buy has this specific memory.

  • Satellite P200D-12f - can I use the 800 Mhz RAM memory modules?

    Hello!

I have a satellite p200d-12f pspbqe model laptop.
It has RAM 2 x 1 gb 667 mhz in it.
So the qustion is: can I put 800 mhz RAM in my laptop? My motherboard supports 800 mhz ram?

    Thank you!

    GLIST

    Hi mate

The speed of RAM depends on the chipset FSB!
If the chipset would support 800 Mhz module RAM would you also with 800 Mhz.

But if the chipset does not support FSB 800 Mhz then you RAM modules would be locked at the speed that is supported by FSB

So you can use 800 Mhz but this makes no sense if the FSB is slower.

    You check the chipset properties!

  • T440s and 1333 Mhz RAM?

Suppose for a moment that my crispy new T440s does not have the access panel more terribly fragile that I've ever read on a Thinkpad. Just pretend that I wanted to drop in a stick of RAM - SSD is a given. We'll just pretend that I'm willing to sacrifice two-channel (if it is possible in the first place) and use a 8 GB stick, since I like to keep all my open tabs. Also assume that I just happen to have a unused sitting 8 GB stick that is only run at 1333 Mhz...

So, would this work? Is there real problems by using a lower-rated SO-DIMM? Or I should suck and place the order with Crucial?

Then it will work fine. Soldered RAM is 1600.

It should be able to use the Ram 667 MHz module, but the difference between the 533 MHz and 667 MHz is not noticeable.
I think the 533 MHz module is great and you are on the good side, if you use the modules to recommend Toshiba.

  • Upgrade Acer E1-531 RAM 1333 mhz to 1600 mhz RAM?

As E1 - 531 supports DDR3 1333 mhz sodimm 1.5V, it is possible to be upgraded with DD3 1600 mhz sticks?

    I use 2x2gb DDR3 1333 mhz

    I want to replace 1x2GB DD3 1333 mhz with DD3 1600 mhz 1x4Go

So the end result will be 1x4Go DD3 1600 mhz + 1x2Go DD3 1333 mhz = 6 GB of RAM with different types of sticks.

Is it OK, it is compatible and is it works without problem later?

    Thank you

    Hello

You can upgrade 2 + 4Gb without any problem, but it depends on the brand and the part number of the memory modules. They will work at 1333 MHz.

    1. What are the brands and the references of original strips?
    2. Same question about the other party?

  • HP Pavilion DV7 - 4083CL 1333 MHz or 1066 MHz RAM?

    Hello

    I have a HP Pavilion DV7 - 4083CL with 2 x 2 GB RAM DDR3. I think they are at 1066 MHz.

I want to upgrade the RAM 2 x 4 GB.

Should I care about in 1333 MHz or 1066 MHz RAM?

If she is 1333 MHz it is really faster, or it will work just to 1 066 MHz?

Or even running at 1333 MHz, it won't make a difference?

What is the difference between 'No' and 'not'?

Will be Kingston KTL-TP1066/4 ("designed for Lenovo systems," says the seller) be on the HP DV7 - 4083CL?

(this is the only one available right now...)

    Thank you!

You can use the 1333 MHz and it will work, but the system can still operate at 1066 Mhz and will probably be.

Here is a small article on buffering and buffer RAM.

    http://www.ehow.com/facts_6893990_difference-buffered-non_buffered-computer-RAM_.html

Memory RAM Lenovo should work just fine in your HP machine if it's for a laptop, desktop RAM will not work in a laptop. You won't do harm to nothing by trying, it will either work or it won't.

  • NB550D-10U - upgrading memory 1333 MHz? C-60 processor

I recently bought the NB550D-10U model that has the processor AMD C-60 inside. I read most of the messages on this forum about memory upgrades and they suggest all requiring RAM DDR3 1066 MHz (PC3-8500).

I guess it is for models with a C-50 processor that I open my netbook and it came installed with 1 GB Samsung DDR3 1333 MHz (PC3-10600) 204pin (part No.: M471B2873FHS-CH9).

So, I guess I could buy a 4 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz Ram that should work in this version of the netbook. Of course, I will modernize windows for hosting get fully use the 4 GB of ram.

Has anyone got this version of the laptop and upgraded? Or can confirm that it is the 1333 MHz memory for and * NOT * 1066 MHz as most of the other posts on the forum.

    Thank you

Theoretically, you can use two types of modules: 1066 Mhz and 1333 Mhz

    1 GB DDR3-1066 PA3675U-1M1G
    2 GB OF DDR3-1066 PA3676U-1M2G
    2 GB DDR3 - 1333 PA3918U-1M2G

But the laptop does support max 2 GB RAM

  • B200 M3 memory stuck at 1333 MHz in performance mode

    Hello

We have 2 B200 M3s in a new deployment running 2.0(3a). The B200s are configured with 64 GB using DIMMs of 8 GB, using BANK 0 of each channel. We deployed a policy of BIOS specifying performance for LV DDR mode and confirmed this setting takes effect in the BIOS, but the memory continues to run at 1333 MHz. When we look at the inventory server, the DIMMs are reported as 8GB 1600 MHz DIMM dual rank. We tried forcing the DIMMs in mode low voltage and return to the mode of performance without result.

In other UCS environments, we have deployed these same blades with the same configuration of the memory and BIOS policy and had no problem getting the RAM at full speed. We do not use any kind of power is corking.

    Thoughts?

What is CPU?  support for the B200-M3 CPU 3 do not support the 1600 Mhz:

    Currently RAM pc3-10600 1333 mhz 4 gb (2 X 2 GB) outside the EEC.

Should I buy exactly the specification stated or can I switch to 1600 mhz pc3-10600 2 X 4 GB RAM not CEE.

    Thank you

    Hello:

Installation memory PC3-1600 does not accelerate memory, being the fastest, it can be run to 1066 MHz.

Even the 1333 MHz memory only runs at 1066 MHz, which is the highest speed of the processor.

I can tell you that memory installation in any PC HP that has a series 5 including your Intel chipset (and uses the memory of the laptop) is very difficult to upgrade.

I suggest that you read this post and one that I've referenced in this post to make sure that you get good memory or it won't work.
