Hello
Code 39 means that the driver is corrupted or missing.
Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
the question.
Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Also check with your system manufacturer to see if there are any updated drivers for your DVD. Or even if it
are you can reinstall the 'old'. Many use Windows default drivers however some special aura
ones. Also check the website of the manufacturer of the car.
Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

I replaced a heatsink and fan in a laptop of friends. The laptop works fine now. In Device Manager, however, I'm getting a code 31 for the Microsoft 6to4 adapter. Is it because this person uses several networks? Is it because I'm connected to my home network? Or I did something wrong during the reassembly? Someone of you know this?
If you experience any problems you can ignore it.

You can ignore this error message. This error message does not indicate a problem with the adapter. The adapter will continue to function correctly.
You can uninstall and windows should reinstall on reboot, but you can install it yourself.

Driver for tsst ts-l632p DVD player has stopped working
Yesterday I tried to install office 2007, but after inserting the dvd into noticed that it lacked the d:\ icon. I went into Device Manager and I just found out that the "tsstcorp cddvdw ts-l632p ata device' is yellow, with this error:
Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
The BIOS is recognizing the material, and if I delete the entry in the Device Manager it reinstalls itself, so if I'm lucky is not a hardware failure, but a driver problem.I have not tried to start the laptop with the included dvd disc, I'll try that to confirm whether this is a hardware or software problem. In the meantime, what can I do to fix this?
It's windows Vista edition premium, on the toshiba satellite L305-s5885. I don't want to reinstall vista just for that. Is there a way I can download a new driver and try again?Hello

CD/DVD unit has stopped working.
Yesterday (26/12/2012), I installed Adobe Photoshop elements 11 and first elements 11. Photoshop Elements installed fine. First seems to install OK, however, my CD/DVD unit has stopped working immediately after.
My system is an Asus CG5270 running Windows 7 w/service pack 1.
Honestly, no. I do not save nor I want to retrace my steps. My research at this stage consisted mainly of a Google and Yahoo search so I think that they are not terribly difficult to find, however, the point is now moot. I booted my pc today and am happy to report no error message more about my drive and it seems to work very well. I feel that this aberration was the result of PE - 11.
I note also that equity this incident will not be included in any comment (s) online can I create, and I appreciate the responses that I have received. Thank you..

What can I do this message-"Toshiba DVD Player has stopped working"
Hello
My DVD drive used for good work... and then I installed iTunes.
He then worked for a while, but only by using "Run as Administrator".After a few weeks I started getting the message "Toshiba DVD Player has stopped working".
I uninstalled iTunes - and uninstalled and then re-installed DVD player - but it still doesn't work!
Any solution please? Thanks in advance for your help.
Ms. Q_reeus
My solution is to remove a Toshiba DVD drive and install VLC player. You can get it for free.
It can play all video formats, and you don't need additional codecs. -

Client to make VoIP calls
I recently started having problems, make VoIP calls from my computer. I use VoIP Busters (and using it for a few years without any problems). Evertime I try to call the destination phone rings a couple of times and then stop. The next thing that happens is an error message that says: "Client for VoIP calls has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem. It is followed by another screen that says: "a problem caused blocking the program working properly." Windows will close the program and inform you is a solution available. " Nothing happens. How to overcome this problem.
I finally had to resort to the re-installation of Windows. This solves the problem. But don't forget to back up your computer and email address / addresses before you do.

Hello! I have a problem with windows live movie maker. I had been using windows live movie maker before and was able to make several projects already.
