My facebook messenger missing blackBerry smartphones!

Please, how can I recover my facebook messenger icon? I noticed my messenger facebook icon, my facebook has disappeared from my home screen. I was able to download facebook icon but I do not know how...

First of all, be sure that it is not only hidden.  From your home screen, press menu and select Show all or show all if one is an option.  If the icon is hidden, it shows.

If this does not work, make sure that you have installed on your phone facebook.  To do this, go to your list of Applications.  Found by starting on your screen home and following Options > device > management applications or Options > Applications, depending on what phone you use.

If it is displayed in this list, you install, but you have no icon.  To resolve this problem, highlight the program in the Applications list, press your menu button, select Remove and delete.  Then, from the browser on your phone, type www.blackberry.com/facebook and download again.

Let us know if that helps you.

  • Message icon missing blackBerry Smartphones

I have the blackberry curve 8520 and the icon envelope message from the homepage has disappeared. I always get new warning messages, but there is no envelope icon to navigate when you switch on the phone. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Hide you? Try to activate "Show all" to see.

Did you move it? Try searching all the folders (for example, Applications, downloads, etc.) to see. Make sure you have "Show all" active there as well.

Have you installed a new theme? Those who can hide things away.

If all those who fail, then I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! Good luck and let us know!

My girlfriend showed me a screenshot of an active session on his facebook account. She uses a blackberry to access his Facebook however shes also in Cyprus. Lastnight she saw that there was an active session of Britain - I did a reverse DNS and the IP belongs to RIM - rdns.blackberry.net.

I understand internet on blackberry is via BIS, so all traffic routed through BIS of its phone regardless of carrier.

It's just never shown that he go to this site before, anyone aware of any BIS routers/proxy that exist in the United Kingdom?

Thanks for your time with this.

    Kind regards

Never mind - I connected on Facebook using the bb browser and it turns out that it does the same thing except that I'm Canadian. It's just a thing routing with BIS and facebook and my carrier.

  • Messenger of blackBerry Smartphones BB and fees for use on a trip across the world

I have a BB Curve and will take a trip to Europe (I am the United States).  I have TMobile, and I continue to receive responses from TMobile about the question to know if I charged for the use of BB Messenger while in Europe.  Are there fees for using BB Messenger or is it a free service offered to all BB phones regardless of the telephone operator?

    Thank you!

This issue has been several responses depending on how YOU will use the data.

BlackBerry Messenger uses your unlimited dataplan, while you are in the United States. While you're in your home country, you can use BBM to send and receive messages from all worldwide - free - as long as you have the unlimited data plan.

If you travel abroad, you will need an international data plan and the BBMessenger would then become a part of this plan, IF you get this plan. Otherwise, (a) you not have data in Europe, or (b) you will be charged for the use of international data without an international data plan, and which will cost a lot of money.

Thus, the follow-up question is... will you have a data Plan International to TMobile on a trip, or what are you plans?

  • MMS missing blackBerry Smartphones feature

I'm missing the MMS feature/link/button you want to call it on my "BOLD". I am running v4.6.0.162 (Platform 4.0.0.155) version of Asia, I thought that its my OS... BUT it is impossible, I don't know the people in East Asia using MMS!

So the question is, is this my phone? or does have to do with my service provider? When I say service provider, I have to actually tell them I want the MMS service. and feature will be visible only as MMS?

Can someone or people! give me some answers please!

You can reload the OS with your new version of carrier.

Click here to get your carrier software - http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

It's the device, software, not the Office Manager.

Download and double-click to install you're your computer. Don't connect the device again.

Once done, go to drive C: Program Files: common files: Research in Motion: App Loader and double-click on loader.exe.

Once the Welcome screen is displayed, plug in the unit and click Next. When you see the PIN number appear after maybe a few minutes press next.

Once he arrives at the device application part, select only things you need, uncheck all other languages, etc..

On the last page before you click on finish, you see an option "ADVANCED", click on this button and make sure that both check boxes are fixed.

  • Integrated Message Folder - MISSING blackBerry smartphones

I hope someone can help me.  My built-in message folder is missing.  Can you please help me get back?  This is the folder by default with BB, which is home to all your messages, but more importantly still receives my messages from my main account (works) with BB.

First, do a simple reboot and see if it reappears: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Otherwise:

    1. on your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.
    2. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, etc.
If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

  • Option send unable difficulty missing blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I have a BB 9000 and have recently taken abroad where I have a separate account of SIM and BB with a local network provider.  Everything works perfectly since I changed the SIM card to the local supplier (BBM, receive e-mail messages, Facebook notifications etc.).  Recently, however I was able to send emails if you reply to an existing message.  If I compose a new email send option is missing.  If I save as draft, I lose all the data in the field "to".  After reading the forums, I deleted the service books, made a battery pull, re-entered the host routing table and returned the service books (on the page of my local provider network).  I'm still in the same position, according to which the send option is missing when I compose a new email, but it is not missing if I choose to reply to an email.

    All advice welcome!

    DD

I found a solution... but this is clearly a bug.  Ironically, General options for opening e-mail and replace 'Display recent contacts when writing e-mail', 'no', makes exactly the opposite!  AutoSuggest restarts and especially the send option reappears mysteriously.  All credit to: http://forums.crackberry.com/f152/auto-suggest-contact-not-working-when-composing-email-468369/

    Completely perplexed.

  • Login name of Messenger Instant blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I just had to change my username for MSN and Yahoo messenger. I have re-installed both applications so I could delete my old log in name and start from scratch.

However, it seems that the old names are stored somewhere. Where can I go to remove the former newspaper name? Are they related to my SIM card or the pin of my BB?

    Thank you

    Or, maybe, I'm

Look at this, on your BlackBerry... Options > Advanced > Service books.

Do scroll down and see IF you have this Sync [OFFICE] entry.

If so, scroll, no clock to open, but press the Menu > delete.

Now try to new Desktop software > to remove these two databases and see if they are available for deletion. If so, complete the process and THEN return to this service book entry and press Menu > UNdelete.

If they remain greyed out, I don't know. I'll sniff around a few others. Maybe making sure that the TWO applications are also deleted the device might work.

  • Missing blackBerry Smartphones compass

    Hello

I got a phone of the company today. The BlackBerry 8900.

My wife has already achieved the same thing about 6 months ago.

I noticed that the 'Compass' is missing on my phone. My wife she had on his phone since the beginning.

Is there a way I can get it?

    Thank you

lol, Yes, all the information is good to have at the outset.

You need to activate the device on your network or BES first, as the BlackBerry Maps application is activated by a Service book which is pushed during activation.

    Good luck.

  • Messenger whatsapp blackBerry Smartphones

Which means that "service WhatsApp no longer manages the BlackBerry at the end of 2016"?

It won't have new versions or application does not completely work?

I'm sure about that. They said they will be ending support, means no new updates, no new functionality. They did not say it won't work in BlackBerry devices.
