    Problem: Browser open after I print (direct print) is report Solution

    I wrote a code to print the direct report printing when I press a button, the report is printed directly to the printer without any thing open
    but a browser is open after the report is opened.
    is there a solution to stop this browser to appear when I print the report.

    I use oracle 10g of form and reports in 10g.
    and I use this library to print reports ("rp2rro")

    and this is the code that I write in the button print to print the report directly

    PL: = create_parameter_list ('PARAMLIST');
    add_parameter(PL,'x',text_parameter,:value1);
    add_parameter (PL, 'PARAMFORM', TEXT_PARAMETER, 'NO');

    -This option to specify the server that I use to print the report above.

    rp2rro.setReportsServer (call_rep_server (user));
    rp2rro.setDesformat ('pdf');

    -These settings I configured in code
    -destype = printer
    --desname=\\200.200.200.22\hp2200

    rp2rro.rp2rro_run_product (reports, "sticker", synchronous, DURATION, filesystem, pl, ");

    When I click on print report is printed directly on the printer that I specified, but after that, the browser open with strange as the jobid data and other characters strange, that I'm not this browser to open once I have print data report is a solution.

    It seems that you have a WEB.show_document call in your code to forms, just after the call to rp2rro.rp2rro_run_product, that you did not post... If Yes, which is the cause of the problem... you need only call to rp2rro run/print report, WEB.show_document call is not necessary...

  • Vista Home Basic - changing the settings after restart

    1. I need to use the mouse with my left hand, so I swap the buttons in the control panel.   However, If I restart Windows, the keys are not exchanged.  I changed the registry key, but I do not do this.

    2. I set the control panel to display a list of items, not the icons, but it is up to the icons, whenever I close.  I use the classic look.

    3. I put the mouse pointer to go automatically to the default button in a dialog box.  It does in the majority of cases, but many there no, Notepad for example. I guess it's to do with the show but y at - it a fix for Notepad, for example?

    Does he know about fixes for these problems (I have installed all the updates I don't know).

    original title: Vista Home Basic - boring bugs

    Go to start / Control Panel / file settings / display and check the box then remember each folder view settings.  That should fix the problem with the Control Panel views (but to be honest, I'm not sure that it will work with control panel because it is another type of folder - but it's worth a try).  If this does not work, I don't know how to get the system to keep the details of opening view (this is the only control that I know to keep folder settings).  For what it's worth, this does not happen on my system - when I put on the details and close it, then open it it is still in the Details view.  I have 32 bit Vista Business SP2 but I don't think this should make no difference to the same problem.

    We will check your file system and hard drive for all the corruption that may cause this problem:

    Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt, right click command prompt and click Run as administrator (you can skip this step if you are using the disk).

    Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.  Try to put all the corrupt files here so that we can see if they can be repaired with good copies of the installation disc (unless there are too many).

    While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.

    If this does not work (or or show corruption it cannot repair), the only option I know eventually the problem is repair/system upgrade using the Windows Vista Installation disc authentic (you own or that you can borrow from someone).  Here is the procedure: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html.  Although this will not affect your data, settings or programs, you should always back up your data before you start just be on the safe side. You can have a lot of updates to re - install (including all you need to remove service packs).  If the version of the system came with SP1 or SP2 preinstalled and the disc is an earlier version, then you will need to make a record of slipstream as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/151606-vista-sp1-slipstream-installation-dvd.html.  The decision is yours, if you want to go through that much trouble to fix this (assuming you have the disc).

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    It seems that your left mouse button problem is already solved by changes to the registry.  I don't know why it didn't keep its settings just to configure in Control Panel - that's what's supposed to happen (not what happened to you).

    The other problem with the mouse can be a problem with the individual programs (such as Notepad) or since you have detailed two separate problems with the mouse, it may have something to do with your mouse, software, firmware driver (or your mouse with Vista compatibility).  I would go to the manufacturer website and download the latest versions for your system and compatible with your version of Vista (making SURE it is compatible with Vista) and install them (or reinstall if you already have this version here).  There may be something to do with these elements to reinstall trouble.

    In Notepad, there is no solution for this problem.  There is no separate for Notepad - download this is the part of the operating system and re - install you will need to re - install the complete operating system (and who may not even solve the problem). What you said about it being a problem specific to the programs is probably correct - especially if she does not work in most of the programs (and I've never seen a mouse pointers control feature in any program I have ever used - it is assumed that is controlled globally of the settings in the control panel).

    Sorry, this was not in fact of great help (unless the mouse, software drivers and firmware option works).

    Good luck!

  • Why not Vista Home Basic or IE8 display images saved in saved, html pages after I change them?

    My system is Vista Home Basic and IE8.
    As an amateur, I often save Web pages with the content I want, then later in offline mode, I change the content of the Web page so that the party I want to keep. Often, the Web page contains an image, and when I want only the part of this picture, I change to delete unwanted parts. For example, I can only wish part of a radio chart.
    Vista Home Basic or IE8 will not display these edited images, jpg and gif. I can only record the image as a bitmap, which Vista Home Basic or IE8 will display, after having been edited.
    I tried to share the image with EVERYONE. I tried to share the webpage with ALL file.
    I don't know if this problem is of Vista Home Basic or IE8, but this IS Microsoft.
    Someone knows a way to solve this problem?
    What is one of the tools Microsoft neutered for the cheap Vista Home Basic?

    The painting seems to be the problem.  I had not heard of this problem with the paint before, but it is possible, that he has always been there.  At least you have a program that gives you a work around for the problem you may need to consider that your standard procedure (since there is no way to uninstall it and reinstall Microsoft Paint on its own to fix everything that could be bad if indeed there is one problem other than a stardard deficit in the program.  It is not a very sophisticated program, after all - but what you try to do should work as far as I know (he just apparently)).

    Maybe you can get more information in the Forum program: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistaprograms/threads where people who specialize in Vista (like Microsoft Paint) additional programs will be more than happy to help you with your problem (if there is in fact a solution).

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows Vista Home Basic - problem with the icons does not meet various Windows services after trying to download updates

    I use Windows Vista Home Basic on a Dell Inspiron 1501.  I have recently accepted that some guest downloads Windows with terrible results.  First downloads do not appear to have been accepted and the system of guard stop and startup trying to cancel.  Second as I result, I seem to have lost access to a range of Windows tools.  For example in Panel I can't open system icons or Windows Update.  Nor can I access these services from any other avenue on the computer.  Whenever I have find an icon or a file screen flashes a dialog briefly and then disappears.  The effect of this is that I'm completely unable to access or to implement the recommended tools or services that could solve this problem.  My ability to manage my computer has been reduced to zero.  Dell were not receptive and I can't get a response from Microsoft

    my windows Vista Home Basic Edition does not show the Office when I log in. it shows only a green screen. I tried all the options in F8 mode with no result. How can I fix it without losing any information on the hard drive?

    Hello

    1 - do you mean that you get the green screen even in safe mode?

    2 did you recent hardware or software changes to your computer before this problem?

    If you are unable to start desktop even in safe mode, then you try to perform the verification and startup repair.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
  • Bluetooth doesn't work does not correctly after the installation of Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 (SP2) on Dell laptop
    I searched this forum and almost all resources on the net for days now nothing works.  Give the message to a thread more appropriate that I couldn't find one that is truly representative and am a newb at this.
    Summary of the problem: Bluetooth connectivity does not work properly after the window Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 and 2 installation (SP 1 and 2).
    My system:
    Laptop Dell Inspiron E1705, 32-bit Winows Vista Home Premium SP2, Dell Wireless Bluetooth 355 Module + EDR 2.0
    * My system was purchased in 2006 with Windows XP, but was not entitled to a free Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade I did. I installed Windows Service Pack 1 and 2 about a week ago.
    Problem: After downloading and installing the Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 and 2 (SP 1 and 2), my system does not recognize my Bluetooth (a touch of Sprint also) device known as the HTC Vogue.  I stress that I have not had any problems with this device before downloads.  I can't revert to the pre - SP State 1 and 2 because my system restore does not have these points more.
    I have read several posts on various sites about people having similar problems with Bluetooth connectivity after the Vista SP 1 and 2 facilities.  The problem is obviously the need for an updated driver.  I went to the site to download driver Dell and the Blueooth only updates available are the following. (Note: these drivers all date from 2006 and 2007).
    http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=RC956904&l=en&s=pub&SystemID=INS_PNT_P4_9400&os=WLH&osl=en&servicetag=&catid=-1&impid=-1&deviceid=12084&libid=5&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&releaseid=R159805&formatcnt=1&vercnt=1
    I had these installed before the SP 1 and 2 have been installed and they worked very well. After the upgrade, these drivers do not work.  They won't recognise BT devices.  I tried to upgrade the drivers by using update Broadcom suggested below it, but an error of following installation to contact Dell.
    http://www.Broadcom.com/support/Bluetooth/update.php
    I contacted Dell via e-mail and on the phone, but they want to charge me $60 for a one time service call just to talk about the problem because my warranty has expired. Provide updated drivers is not a problem of security in my opinion.  Even after explaining the situation, their continuous support to just send me the link to download Driver Dell above with out-of-date drivers.  I guess that's what they are charged to do, they do not have to admit a problem of compatibility.  This obviously the same link they would charge $60 to send.  I explained that I need just a Bluetooth Driver from Dell to at least version 6.3.   Needless to say, I will never buy another Dell product.
    On my end, I tried to uninstall my current drivers and then by installing a newer driver to support Gateway (Version 6.2.1.500 for and Acer).  This allows me to install some parts of this update and the update Broadcom. However, it is not a perfect installation and expires after about 90% saying "this update is not for this system" because it is the gateway not Dell to be provided.  Displays the version of the driver on my computer is Version 6.3.5.430 after doing this, but it is not a complete installation and some features are not available.
    Does anyone have experience with this issue? I would like to have a link with some bluetooth drivers generic Version 6.3 type which will allow me to use the Broadcom link to upgrade to the last version that works with Vista SP 1 and 2.
    Thank you for your help.
  • Windows Vista Home Basic 'local only' access via ADSL router, broudband
    Hello
    I've set up a new router broadband wireless ADSL to connect to my broadband PostOffice.com existing Standard.
    The router is a Belkin F7D1401uk Surf N150 model.
    It is facing up and running and I can use other machines to connect to the internet through it. A netbook running Windos XP SP3 and a mobile phone (Nokia X 6), but my laptop main running Windows Viast Home Basic SP2 (32 bit) do not have wireless internet access.
    It is a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2727 laptop. If I connect to the new Belkin router using an ethernet cable, I can connect to the internet. But when I unplug the ethernet cable and turn on the WiFi I see a connection to the modem Belkin Wireless, but on an 'unidentified network' and with 'local access' only.
    Here is a copy of what I get when I run "ipconfig/all" at the command prompt:
    Hello Ttard,
    Thanks for your post.  One of the solutions, I saw about this problem is to go to your system manufacturer's Web site and download / install the latest driver for your computer wireless.
    This thread is very long, but has some great troubleshooting in steps.
    Please let us know if this information helps with your problem.
