My firefox comes himself to update to the latest version and now all I get is "unable to connect" which is odd since IE and chrome can connect very well. Any ideas? I already checked the btw proxy settings and is not the issue

One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Today updated Firefox updated to its latest version 12.0. Immediately after the update, I couldn't load most of the sites. The web browser would just freeze. I have determined that the culprit is the Adobe Flash Plugin, however; even with the latest version of the plugin, I always have problems. Any suggestions?
If anyone else has this problem I found a few options that may help you.
I solved my problem by loading Waterfox, which is the 64-bit version of Firefox. I use a Windows 64-bit operating system, so this solution worked perfectly. If you want to download it, it can be downloaded here: http://waterfoxproject.org/
It has also been suggested that I try to create a new Firefox profile. Since Waterfox works for me, I have not tried yet; However, I was told that it allows to solve several mysterious questions of Firefox with Flash. Sites like Pandora and gmail keep telling me that I use an older version of Firefox. So I followed their links to update, download the latest version and run it from my downloaded programs. But it doesn't seem to work as the sites always give me the same message.
Something that you have changed your User Agent or prevents your User Agent to update with the new installation/update of Firefox. I suspect it's Fast Browser Search, which is shown as part of the User Agent. To get rid of Fast Browser Search do the following:
- Closing of Firefox (Firefox button > exit OR File > Exit)
- Open the Windows XP Control Panel and remove/uninstall "Fast Browser search protection" and "Fast Browser Search" (MyWebTatoo)

I need to install CS2 on my new computer. Adobe sent me a link to install the latest version of CS2. It won'taccept my serial number that is on my CD. I can install it from the CD, but it also wants my serial number and then disconnects when I get my serial number. The only way I can use it is to use the trial for a month. I called Adobe today and they said I would need to go to the chat room. No one answers. I finally got someone to answer this afternoon and after an hour wait so she can check the solution she sent me to the same link that my serial number doesn't work with. I tried the cat new tonight and got the same message to be patient and go to the forum. I waited over an hour and then Adobe cat simply disconnected. I guess it has expired. Anyone has a solution.
