  I guess you put the micro card in full-size SD card reader? Look on the side of the SD card. There is a small switch that is write protected. Put it to the other position.

  There are a couple of settings that you can change that might help.

  First, open the text messaging application (application default) and press Menu > e-mail settings > message limit. Change this to 1000. It was the highest I could put it on my phone.

  Then open Handcent and press Menu > settings > Application settings > default messaging application. Now I don't know which setting will actually disable the stock email app. I guess you'd want all (SMS & MMS). I don't know about this one. The default value is Disable and the stock messaging app still get texts on my X, so I guess that everything would be one you would like.

  I couldn't really find anything on this line parameter. Then perhaps, just play with it to see if it does nothing for you. I think that defining the limit Message in the stock 1000 text messaging application you will get what you need at the moment. What happens when you reach 1000 in a thread? Probably the same as what is happening now, unless there Handcent actually disables the application inventory with the setting above.

  The reason why I have you change the Message in the application limit stock is because even if you use Handcent, the stock application continues to receive messages, so that the setting is one which is no doubt keep the message limited to 200 per thread. I hope this helps.
